Iran Update: President Donald Trump said just hours ahead of an 8 p.m. deadline last night that he had agreed "to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks” on the condition that Iran reopens the Strait of Hormuz.  Earlier, he had warned that "a whole civilization will die tonight" unless Iran agreed to a deal before his deadline.
Lincoln Memorial Update: According to the National Mall’s X account, the elevator is now open at the Lincoln Memorial as part of its undercroft project.  With that done, the temporary accessibility ramp that was built on the front steps two years ago has now been removed.
