A Sligo Senator has launched a scathing attack over an imminent rise in public transport fares.
It was confirmed yesterday that adult tickets are set to increase by an average of 15 percent from January, as part of the National Transport Authority's price restructuring.
Daily commuters will notice the change, as 90 minute leap card journeys will increase from 2 euro to 2 euro and 30 cents.
