The Cathaoirleach of the Local Authority is the latest in a long line of prominent elected representatives to call for the carbon tax on home heating oil to be scrapped in the budget.

The calls from Cllr Dara Mulvey come as the price of home heating oil has soared in recent months due to the war in the Middle East.
