A new taxi app is being hailed as a game changer for Sligo operators.
Tap a Taxi has been described as an app created by Irish Taxi Drivers themselves with Sligo the second County in Ireland to adopt it.
When compared to other global apps, Tap a Taxi is said to be more beneficial to local companies in terms of revenue.
Daithi Feehily, Managing Director of Feehily's Sligo's Travel Centre says it's a step in the right direction but more Government intervention generally is needed:
