Ocean FM News ReportsJust over €20.5 million has been allocated to Sligo County Council under the Regional and Local Roads programme.
Various road projects across the County are set to benefit.
The Department's allocation document also identifies €1.8 million for the Eastern Garavogue River Bridge.
But Independent Cllr Marie Casserly says while its hugely positive, the long term plan should be a new N15 road and it needs to be kept high on the agenda:
