A Sligo/Leitrim TD has once again hit out against the fuel support scheme for farmers.
A pledge was made by government to spend the entirety of its 85 million euro allocation, however only 27 million euro has been spent this year.
It comes as farmers may endure a price hike on fuel after the reintroduction of fuel excise duties.
Sinn Fein's Food and Agriculture Spokesperson, Martin Kenny, says everyone in rural Ireland will feel the impact of higher fuel prices:
