A Donegal Garda inspector has voiced his support for an initiative that gives families of road traffic victims the opportunity to share their stories and memories of loved ones who have tragically lost their lives on our roads.
Inspector Sean McDaid from Donegal Roads Policing says education is key to improving road safety and helping prevent further tragedies.
He believes that hearing the personal stories of families affected by road deaths can serve as a powerful reminder of the devastating impact road traffic collisions have on individuals, families and communities.
His message is clear: education, awareness and responsibility from all road users are vital in making our roads safer.
