Sharni Williams - If You Don’t See It, You Can’t Believe It

View descriptionShare

This is a podcast where we sit down with some very successful people from the world of business, entertainment and sport about their life’s journey and what got them to the position that they’re in today.

In today’s episode we are chatting with Sharni Williams.

Sharni was a shy kid from the town of Batlow, a place with a population of 1300 people that has gone on to become one of Australia’s most recognisable women’s Rugby players.

She’s played in 3 rugby world cups, won a gold medal (and you won’t believe the story of where she keeps it), and won a commonwealth games silver medal.

She’s captained teams through tremendous challenges to great successes.

In this chat we talk about Sharni’s path to being a professional athlete and how that has evolved over the course of her career. We talk about pride in sport and the importance of visibility.

As for all of these podcasts, Shaw and Partners have generously donated $10k to the charity of choice of each of our guests. We discuss who that money goes to in this chat.

This podcast is brought to you by Shaw and Partners Financial Services.

It is hosted by Gus Worland and produced by Keeshia Pettit
