When a Scotsman emigrates to Australia, the mere mention of whiskey is enough to organise a gig in a Tasmanian distillery.

For Graeme McColgan, it meant having to source/borrow audio equipment. A chance meeting in northwest Tasmania to borrow some gear led to making music with two well known Tasmanian locals - Neil Gray & Bob Connor.. It was the genesis of a debut CD.... Distant Shores.

Graeme has his heart on settling in Tasmania, but for the time being is a FIFO musician catching up with The Stovies every month. 

The Scotsman told his story and played some of the music from the CD during the Long Lunch program on City Park Radio.
