Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.
Good Yeah, it is. That's our show.
It's Good Morning Football present of my best Buy. I'm Jamie ear at All.
This is a far buzzy Bamilla good morning.
That is Kyle Grant. We are live here in Los Angeles. Kyle Brandt, live here in Los Angeles. Kyle Brandt, who had his sweet sweet family here yesterday.
Yeah to the we're here.
We had a great, great day in LA.
You know what we did. We just went to best Buy. This fantastic about a refrigerator. The service and the products are so good you can't pass on. We passed a boarded up old circuit city on the way out of this great We're a best Buy family.
What did the kids buy? That's what I want to know.
Video games, everything that everything can get their hands on. Zelda man, they still got that.
They got it all. They really do.
They really knew believe they saw the appliances these days. All right, Well, it was wonderful to see the brands yesterday in California. But we have some things to discuss in Washington.
I'm leading black politics here we go.
Oh no, no, no, Dan Quinn very political up until the point where you had to make a decision about his starting quarterback, saying that the media, they were pressuring him, the media was too much over the last couple of weeks to name a starting quarterback. So they finally came yesterday, Quinn made it official. Jade and Daniels is the Commander's starting QB.
Just a blessing that dq AP trust me to go out there and lead the team, lead the franchise to hopefully win some games. So big ups to them. It's a blessing. Some I drunk it by as a kid to be at this moment, to experience this moment, snod that I can say too much.
Okay, Jade and Daniels, you now become the eighth week one started quarterback for the Commanders in the last eight seasons, which is an NFL wreckord if you are counting, it's a pretty impressive list. I believe it's three team names in Washington since that time as well, so.
I know right, it's a lot of names.
It's a lot of names, it's a lot of quarterbacks, a lot of different ways. You could take this segment, Kyle, what what are you feeling these days about Washington.
Well, it's exciting as hell that that full screen's nuts what we just showed, Yeah, bring it back. Let me do a little armchair analysis of this, all right, starting down on the bottom right with Kirk Cunson's it's so long, right, that's all right. Listen, we're what Morning show. It happens, all right, so late round draft pick. Then it ended up not getting financial terms on Alex Smith retread Case Kanaan retread the late Dwayne Haskins. Did that workout on the field, respect to him, Ryan Fitzpatrick retread, Carson Wentz double retread Sam Howell. They tried it for a little bit, they got it in.
Now he's somewhere else.
Jane Daniels born and bred command, not even the old team names. He is a Commander's quarterback. There is a new owner, there is a new coach.
And I would say it like I always say, if you're.
Not excited now, then why are you even watching football?
Everything's new.
There's none of that weird, shadowy stuff from the prior ownership. There's all the new head coach, the guy who's successful, and there's a really exciting, likable guy in Jayden Daniels like the Dan Quinn thing is not irrelevant.
They've tried everything there. They've tried everything from.
A new guy and Jay Gruden to an old guy and Mike Shanahan to a weird guy and Steve Spurger. This goes back to I feel like I was in college, and now they have a really solid branded coach, hopefully at ownership, and then just a really fun, exciting quarterback who won this thing going away. He held it from us. We knew it was going to be him, and I think this is cool. I would say it again, like, be very excited about this. Of course, if you're a Commander's fan, you could be nervous, or if you're an Eagles or Giants fan, you could say it's never gonna work out.
It never does. I don't know.
I don't like looking at the past decades and past administrations and pointing in saying, well they suck, so you will. It's a different deal completely. I like Jaden Daniels's I mean, it's it's interesting to have a guy whose initials are JD in Washington.
Maybe we'll have more I don't know.
Meanwhile, we're in Philadelphia, which is division rival but that's how I feel about Well.
Hopefully nobody is judging him, you know, in the way that they've judged some of the other quarterbacks. I think he's going to need that time to grow. He's still a rookie quarterback. But where else were they going to go? I mean, this was the perfect place to be, you know. I look at this and everybody was speculating, and I'm like, like, this is clear to me, But I get it. The coach wanted to make sure that he earned the position, which he already did because of his body of work. You already saw the talent there. But one of the things that I saw in the interview, which so I was if you go back and listen to his interview when he's being announced as the starter, he goes he calls his head coach DQ. Like that's a certain level of comfort. I talk about things like that, like I'm so comfortable that's my guy. Like this head coach is my guy. I'm calling him DQ. So when you have that type of relationship, I think you're going to see from the mental side, you're gonna see a better element of JD. Because there's a comfort and confidence that every quarterback has to have if you start getting out there and you're questioning yourself, you don't think your coach thinks you got it, or you don't think he understands you.
You ain't you calling him coach?
Yes, coach.
He's not tight. He's not gonna put out there playing tight. And then I also look at it too, is the expectation is very low. The expectations low because they were four and thirteen last year. I mean, I don't think anyone, no fan, no crazy moniacal fan, is going he's taking a straight to the super Bowl. That's not the expected. I think the expectations low, kind of like what we saw with c J. Stroud last year. I don't think anyone expected c J Stroud to do what c J Stroud did.
I think the same thing.
Anything he does is gonna be like, oh wow, So if they're seven and whatever, you think they.
Get to eight, nine, it's like, oh hell yeah, nice.
Seven, ten, eight and nine, whatever it is.
It's gonna be like, see, as long as Jayden Daniels shows that he has the potential to continue to grow, that he shows the ath meticism, he shows all other stuff, they'll just start to pat and surround him with more.
Than by your rookie on the show.
Have you started calling Michael Davies MD is that you just call walk right.
D I'll let your point, Ben, I don't do that. I'm a ninth year vet, right, Michael.
I set up right and I say, hey, Michael, yeah, he's very proper.
So you just start getting into a product it right exactly.
It's interesting that you say the expectations are low. You go low with Jayden Daniels. I go low with that logo right there. I mean, it has been a long time that we have had high, high expectations for the commanders, which leaves some wiggle room for decisions to be made about who your starting quarterback should be and how much room for growth there really is. I think back to last year in Anthony Richardson when he arrived in Indianapolis talk about the exact opposite of what we're dealing with this year's rookie quarterback class. With Anthony Richardson, it was what thirteen games he had started in college, he had barely played two seasons at Florida, and now he's thrust to the spotlight here, sir, here's an entire team in an offense, and you have a lot of wiggle room to grow. The expectation for Anthony Richardson, despite his crazy athleticism, was kind of low for this team. It's low for James Daniels. I'm like, no, this is an experienced quarterback. In fact, all I want from him is to stay loose. That's my expectation. He's fallen down on the sideline. He's making jokes apologizing for some of his stuff on the field to Dan Quinn about I didn't mean to throw that pass and then put myself a jeopardy coach. I think it's great, but mostly I think the experience demands a higher expectation for this quarterback. But the brand in general, I think we're pleasantly surprised with where we sit right now with the Commanders.
Yeah, and listen, the expectation thing is dicey, Like everything you're saying about a oarcbar makes sense and good rookie year. It took care of the ball, and I feel like the expectation game has changed so much. It's because it's like, let's go superstar now, like show us why we drafted you, and actually stroud like kind of works against these guys. And I'm talking about all of them. In Caleb, it's like, do what Stroud did. Do what Stroud did. What Stroud did was special, man, and I had a lightning and a bottle on the right pieces, and more often than not it doesn't happen that way.
So listen.
He gets to eight and nine and plays pretty well, sure, but also it's like you also have that clock ticking. Everyone's like with the rookie quarterbacks scale, you're gonna have to pay him in a fe years.
Go go now. It's nuts and it's drunk and it's crazy.
But I always honestly feel if they're averaged this year, it depends.
On how the other guys in the draft class do.
If bo Nix is out there killing it, or Drake may Is and Jane Daniels is eight and nine, they get compared to them.
It's hard, man, it's a meat grinder.
It's almost like the expectation game is intoxicated and he has to play it. I don't know if eton nine on everybody's satisfied.
Maybe it should. I just know how it works.
We've done a good job last couple of weeks. In August we go big picture stuff and I think we've looked at characterizing divisions certain ways. The personality spectrum that we have in the NFC East, to me from a quarterback perspective, is fascinating between Jalen Hurts to Daniel Jones, back to Dak Prescott, Jaden and Daniels. Where do you fall in the middle of that? And I kind of like that about this division. Moving on to other rookie quarterbacks. The number one pick is the ar in Chicago. We found that out about a minute after he got drafted. The number two pick is now the starter in Washington. We found this out yesterday. The number three pick, what are they here in New England? Are you going to be the starter?
Well?
Yesterday their other quarterback in New England, Jacoby Brissett, was asked about the current state of the quarterback situation.
Kobe Is July twenty six, Gerrod said, out this year, this year, you're the starting quarterback.
This morning he said it's still a competition. He hadn't decided the starting quarterback. How do you view that sort of door opening? Maybe or no, Man, I still treat myself as if something starter. Well, frankly, that's.
Why Jacoby Brissett has lasted as long as he has because he always has treated.
Himself like a starter.
But girod Mayo Week one starter, he said, we still don't know who boy does Drake May? Kyle, we already know where you stand. We're gonna talk part first. Will Drake maybe the week one starter in New England?
I don't know, And I'm gonna tell you I just picked up on something I hadn't. That's the first time I had seen that clip right there, and the amount of irritation in Jacoby Pressett's body language. He looked like he was very irritated with that question and the idea. I'm sure he had already heard it from his coach, like he's fighting for that position. But I think it's not gonna be to me a talent thing as much as it's gonna turn out to be.
An upside thing. We've seen Jacoby Prissett.
I mean, I look at Drake May and I look at like what he put out during the preseason. I'm just going, what are you like? Let's be honest, like, I'm just keeping it a buck right now. The Patriots have kind of just picked pieces off. We saw what they did with Judan what else do you have there? We already know this is a rebuild. Let's not pretend like, oh, we got the guys in the locker room and you want everybody to quote unquote buy in. Everybody in that locker room already knows that this is a rebuild. So you might have start rebuilding with one of the main anchor pieces, which is your quarterback.
So I think, to me.
Drake May is the guy that will probably end up becoming the starting quarterback. And I think by default of rebuilding.
It's complicated as hell, and I'm sure the Patriots coach is going through this too.
The concern. I see the arguments everywhere.
The arguments are like, Okay, Drake May is emerging to be the best quarterback in the team. It's pretty clear he's gonna get you live out there. The line is terrible, the weapons are terrible, Like, let's give him a chance to see.
We can't. So maybe he might.
Be good, but there's no way he could succeed with this team. The other thing is sometimes guys just come into the.
League and they're just gamers. They just get out there and ball.
And I always think of Russell Wilson as a rookie there was no reason he was supposed to start. They drafted him and it's Matt Flann's job. They sign up from Green Bay. We have our starter in place, and we have our project quarterback. Russell Wilson took the field and was the.
Best player out there. It was undeniable.
They're like, we have to play him. He's way better than our guy. We're gonna put him out there. And it worked out. I think now even the next week, if Drake May is so obviously good, you can't keep him off the field just because.
We're not sure. It's a football shame. And there are guys who come in just ready to roll.
Everyone wants to say, all the guys who fall on their face, dak Lamar russ On and on and on. There's a million guys who are like, I have Burrow, I have this right away. Jacoby Brissett is never the guy. It's never going to be the guy. He never has been the guy. Everybody in the league knows he's not the guy. He's eighteen and thirty.
Is a starter. He's nice, he's congenially, he's a good luck. He's not the starter. It's not a starter. It's a fake starter.
So if you have a guy who is that good and you're like, you know what, Drake's awesome, let's put him in. Let's do it. I think we can rally about. I think we can win. I also hate the idea that, oh, they're done for the season.
This is the NFL. You don't tank for the season in August.
Sure you want to rebuild, fine in the front office, but you're trying to win week one, in week two. And for the last time, I've said, there's a million times in the show and make this very clear, it is time to retire Patrick Mahomes as an example of you have to sit a guy. It is what every single host brings up and every time the situation, well, Patrick Mahomes sat for a year. Patrick Mahomes should not have sat for a year. It's nonsense. I think they might have cost themselves a Super Bowl by.
Sending Patrick Mahomes for his rookie year.
Alex Smith took him to the wild card round and they lost like they always did in those teams. Mahomes came in the next year, they're in the title game. They almost beat the Patriots. I think Mahomes would have started his rookie year, they could have gotten to the super Bowl as a rookie. He's that good and had that automatically. I think he was deprived, So stop saying that. I don't believe that helped him. I think it actually hurt the Chiefs, and I think I might hurt the Pats if they keep this guy off the field.
Some guys go out there and just ball.
You said, other guys they stay in the league a long time and they just hang And that's where I go with Jacoby Brissette. That guy hangs around and he's on different teams, and yeah, he can be deemed a good locker room guy, but he started an entire season for a team, and I know the Colts moved on from him after that. But there's sometimes the situation lends his hand where even if Drake May shows you in the preseason that he is ready, this team is not ready.
Jami, do you believe this? Yes, I do. Ragmatic he's making a conversation.
I am actually feeling more protective about Drake May than I am about Jacoby Brissette. Jacoby Brissette can handle anything that comes to him. In the first three weeks of this season, if the Patriots get shellacked by whoever they play, which very well may happen because there is a lot going on and I wouldn't blame them for that. There has been a massive title way of change in New England. I do wholeheartedly believe this. It stresses me out to think about Drake May going out there and if we mess with something that we have deemed so awesome in August of his rookie season, I will feel regret about thinking that we should have just thrown them out there all because why Russell If you're not if you're not going to allow us to use Patrick Mahomes as the example, then I don't think we should use Russell Wilson as the one time that we had an awesome quarterback.
Right?
Are you nervous about Jane Daniels. Why isn't Mariota starting?
Because those are better teams.
They just fired the coach, the commanders. No, they have better from top to bottom. The Courts have a better roster.
I don't think that they're a juggernaut compared to the Patriots. I think it's for some reason there's this put Jane Daniels. There's no talk about no put Mariota out and protect Jane Devils not ready yet. Drake May has shown everything in the preseason, just like Jane Daniel says he doesn't have a shot. I don't think the Patriots are that much worse than the Commanders.
I think he should play too. I think it's I think it's an excellent point. I think kind of just so that you get your your prize draft draft in, uh, Drake May and Jaydeon Daniels. You get those guys out, you get them primed, you get them ready. This is the time to do it right now. Same thing I think. I mean, I look at the Washington the Washington Commanders, I mean they're little anemic on offense too. I mean as they got Austin Eckler McLaurin better players, they have better players, I know, I don't think, but they're not loaded like they don't have like the top dogs on the outside, where jaydon Gannal's like, whoo, I got all of these.
Tours should be brought up like and it's a it's a sad group and you don't want any of those guys to be in it. It's the rookie quarterbacks who get put in right away and then like five weeks later, coaches like, we're gonna sit him down and we're gonna have we think he can learn. Sean Kay's around the Browns, Zach Wilson on the that's the worst club because those guys usually don't come back that when you put them in and then pull them back out, it's normally done like it's a rap. Start getting ready for the draft. So Jamie's in this thing. Star's protective. There's a little autobiographical thing I think going on for you got little babies at home, and I could feel the same way because they.
His quarterback rookies are kind of our babies.
I just get too excited at I'm like, he just looks so good. And Jacoby Brissette, we know everything he is and isn't. What are we doing he Let's win some.
Games, Okay.
I just want to say we are going to talk about the stuff that Tua Tungua Bailoa has discussed in the media the last couple of days. A couple of days, because this is where I get protective too, is from a mental health perspective, from just a quarterback, a young quarterback, regardless of coaching or whatever. If you go out there and you become a different form of yourself than the way you were drafted. And we see it two years from now. Drake May is like, I don't remember the fall of my rookie year because I was so outside. I shouldn't have started. I didn't feel great. I'm just going to be so bummed because I just want to protect them at all costs.
Brady was talking recently on stage about this and rookie quarterbackst he hates it. He absolutely hates it. He says they're forced in. It's not right. We used to grow players and develop them. I sat at Michigan, I said it, and he absolutely hates it. So Brady's going to be on the call a out of games this year. I bet he is strongly in favor of Drake maysitting.
We're back, it's time for big deal or no, let's go we begin in Dallas. This music kind of lends itself to them where ceedee Lamb strikes again. Via social media, he recently tweeted lol when his boss, Jerry Jones, the Cowboys owner, said he didn't have any urgency to getting a deal done now yesterday, CD's back at it when he posted Spider man, the is it Toby maguire version holding.
His head in his hands.
I'm sure we cannot show the image.
I'm on Andrew Garfield, guy, you can show that.
You can't show them.
Thatsh ip and ownership or what not?
Litigation?
Yes, Ceedee Lamb's use of social media as a whole between Lol and Andrew Garfield?
Is that what it is? Anyways? Is it a big deal? Off Bar? Is it no big deal?
I think this is a big deal.
I mean, especially with Ceedee Lamb using the imagery of the Black Superman excuse Black spider Man. This is when he goes into this dark and frustrated memo, He's tapping into something totally different. And so I look at Ceede Lamb and he's telling you cryptically, he's saying, I am frustrated with what is going on right now. So I think he may start to turn dark on us. He may start to get to a certain point where we're going to see a different side of Ceedee Lamb. And we haven't known that to be CD Lamb. That's not been a Ceede Lamb god, So he may be taking on a different character and he's putting Jerry Jones on notice, it's like, yo, Jerry Jones. First off, you need to take some time to watch Spider Man three, and then you need to learn what's going to happen. If you don't pay me, you better pay me. That's what he's saying.
Well, the City Lamb origin story was on draft night when he took the phone away from the young lady who had taken the phone from it, and that's like, that's classic.
That's how the joke has started. Oh, it's amazing. Gosh. Here's the most important question. Has he unfollowed the Cowboys and social media? Can we look that up? That big deal?
No, as I respect it because that's in that stock and everybody's done that. There's certain moments in social media over the years we've been at this thing fifteen years or something now that just should be put in the social media Hall of Fame.
A current in his prime.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver literally laughing at his owner online. I think that has to go in the Hall of fame. I've never seen that before.
Ever.
I've seen people be snarky and passive aggressive the lol, not at the coach or even put the guy who writes the checks and August is an all timer, so I should be against it because but I'm I'm very amused by it, and I like that he's not unfollowing.
Because that's not original. He's trying to be original about it.
So you're just saying no big deal.
I'm saying big deal because I like it. Okay, big deal because I like it.
The level of petty is flirting with all time high. Lakwan does he is he still following his team on social media?
Nah?
He has officially unfollowed all he never was for he actually deliberately unfollowed. I have to change my ansel if you un followed them out, if you follow.
A team from his Now I'm back in. I think it's funny.
All right, I like it. We're committed.
Oh wow, big deal because the question is the use of social media?
Is it a big deal?
Of course, it's a big deal. I feel like this is the lowest hanging fruit question we've ever had. We this is like how do you This is like speaking Russian to us on this show, Like how do you translate? What does it all mean? I'm not sure the intonation of all this, Like Toby Maguire and to Akbar's point, it's Toby maguire. I'm just looking at the picture right off, pulling the mask over his head, looking very emotional.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, here we go.
I'm knocking at your piece out so nobody talks me right now. This is it, Toby, this is ceedee lamb, what do you what do you.
Interpret this as?
I'm not looking and I'm like, I'm going villain and well the picture of Toby, he's going dark, he's turning frustration.
I'm gonna love this money.
At a time, and it's also a terrible movie and like probably the low point of Toby McGuire's like, it's not great.
This is frustration and defiance by cd lan Sure.
Sorry, cool and wardrobe?
Okay, moving on?
Yeah, yesterday uh doing uh While doing the forty nine Ers Saints highlight, Kyle made a comment about coach Shanahan's hair.
Looks like there's a bit of a party in the back going on.
Kyle Shanahan growing out his hair is a big deal or is it no big deal?
Off far, It's.
No big deal for me because I can't grow any hair, and I don't know about this man's hair.
I don't I am been in the hair game.
Would you go nuts with it?
Sometimes you think like it's just in this wild, magical world beeod hair.
If I had hair, the one thing I would want is waves. I've always wanted waves, Like you know, you just brush your hair. But I mean, I don't know, I don't I don't know what is.
Awkward the question. I think it's more so look at that man. He is the head coach of one of the most storied and famous franchises in the most richest, most popular sports.
He looks like the work.
He looks like there it is.
No So he's a trucker.
Does that look like a head coach to you? The San Francisco forty nine ers.
Yeah, I mean maybe at a truck stop, you know what I mean, Like you know in Moscow, Idaho, you know, with a little dip in his mouth, you know what I mean?
Like, yeah, he could.
You're profiling that guy hard. That's a wildly successful, brilliant man. I like, I just think this is like, okay, a couple of things. He's forty four years old, Like right on, Q. These guys from in their mid forties are like this might be my last shot. I'm gonna change it.
Up.
I'm gonna do something wild. My my wife, I just be crap about it. My kids don't think it's funny. But I'm gonna do it differently. Also, he's got to change something, right, I mean this, He's got to change something, yeah, because all he does is get to the playoffs were super Bowl and lose like it's great, it's amazing. Most coaches would lose a finger to do that. He's got to change something. It's a little bit of a different look, a little bit of a different aura.
If you look at this is like baby day. This is a boy scout. Now he's now he's got to that's an investment banker.
This is LinkedIn bab Junior, your account executive. Now he's working his way off and that looks great.
I haven't seen this.
Now that guy, that guy, that guy parties. You know what he's He hasn't slept much. He's one of those things called zen's. He's into those things like he does. We might drive a truck. He's watching Instagram on the truck. I came around once you saw the contrast where he came from. This again, it's like he ages like the president, like it's no matter what president is. I feel like he's been the head coach.
In San Francisco for twenty years. He hasn't.
That's what the stress of getting to the playoffs and losing, or getting your quarterback injured and quarterback injured again.
You hit him with the president for real?
Real, yeah for real, you hit him.
With the presidential age. Now that you say that, can we run that again please? Because, uh, the age, I wish they had the years underneath. Yeah, yeah, then you would really see how much he's aged. God forbid. The LinkedIn page is like three years ago.
Really, that went t shirt to Polo to investment banker real quick too. Frankly, you know a thing in southern California.
He also now kind of.
Looks like a man that made billion dollars by the time he's forty and he just doesn't have to care anymore.
This guy cares.
He wasn't in his twenties here was he?
No?
You know what's crazy. This picture was taken the week of the Super Bowl. This last one it was taken in February four That pictures from six months ago. There, yes, that was going into the game in the Super Bowl. And the last this last one, he doesn't drive a truck ock bar. It looks like he got hit by one. So Kyle, you do whatever you need to do. Change a style up, shave your head, grow it down to your waist, braid.
I don't care.
It possible that he can go back to his LinkedIn page and look like that again. Is there anything he can do to go back to look like that?
Sure?
Hair dye, seeing a stylis seeing a salon stylist, and.
Yeah, yeah, I mean there's yeah, I'm sure right now that guy's agent like Gollum.
I don't believe.
I don't blame him at Kyle, and it ends in the Super Bowl with a ring like Gollum.
You'll be good, buddy. It was worth it.
Yeah, he was that super Bowl. I bet you his looks.
You think he goes back to his youth.
I bet you he goes back to his preppery. You know what.
It's kind of like, It's kind of like when the guys are getting ready for the draft and they get all edged up and they getting all cleaned up, and then as soon.
As they get to the league, they just let it go.
I don't I don't go Gollum, I go Frodo when he can't not put the ring on and he's all stressed and all he wants to do with his entire body just.
Ring.
I mean, he's he's what I'm saying.
All he wants to do is put.
That ring on and disappear exactly.
Great coach, Great coach. Hey, Hi, don't write yourself off yet.
It's only in your head. You feel left out and put down on? You know those words, and if they're getting you feeling a little bit down.
Kirk Cousins gave us a gift and it's right here. It's his birthday. They let him make his own playlist.
This is now, that's what I call Cousins Volume one, and it's everything you could ever imagine. It is something that you would hear in the dentist office way room in the frozen food aisle at Albertson's.
It's a serious XM.
Channel six pop rocks like playlist, and seemingly more than half the songs are taken from old Madden games in the early two thousands that he.
Was definitely playing. But here's my take on this.
We can make the same old Kirk Cousins jokes and we can admire him for being so secure that he's going to play this for a bunch of guys on his team way younger than name, who have never heard of Good Charlotte or all Time low Er Jim Class Heroes. I mean, there's a lot of humor in it, the fact that he had only seventeen songs to pick and he went with Maroon five and Stereo Hearts featuring Adam Levine.
He needed Levin in there twice twice.
We can make all those jokes, but I think there's something going on here that is no joke. I spent the entire night last night in my La hotel room not only studying this list but listening to it. And my takeaway is that Kirk is telling us something.
That there are hidden messages in this playlist.
It's hiding in playing sight uh oh, seventeen weeks in a season, seventeen tracks. I think Kirk is seeing the whole season playing out in this playlist, and in a sort of Da Vinci codean way, it's all here. All the answers are here, and I've found some of them. There's mysteries remaining, but let's get into just a few of them, all right.
Remember Kirk's coming off in Achilles.
He's with the new team, with the new coach. Week one, Track one. I think he is sayings to Jimmy World, bring it up. Week one Track one. I think he is saying to his team, it just takes some time, all right, everything, everything will be alright. I don't think they're winning Week one. I think he knows that they're playing Pittsburgh.
He says, you know, try your best, try everything you can, but it just takes some time.
He even says that they're in his facial expression, I think they're losing Week one. Guys, everything everything will be all right, but it just takes However, let's go next all the way to week seven. Track seven. Week they're playing the Seahawks at home. Next track please. I'm coming out of my cage and I'm doing just fine.
Now we're starting to play better.
The Killer's Mister Brightside is perfect, guys, I'm mister Bright's side. Destiny is calling me. We're gonna get this thing figured out. It's initially it's gonna take some time. Now I'm coming out of my cage. I'm doing just fine because guess what.
Let's go next slide please, Next.
Track Track six, Week six. They're playing the Panthers, the Carolina Panthers. They're playing in Charlotte, Good Charlotte.
We're gonna play really well. And Starry we got this and guess what. They played the Panthers twice. Kirk's got good Charlott on the playlist twice. You think that's a coincidence.
You don't owe this, man, I'm telling you, it's all now and we're just getting started. Next track, next track, please, the Kirk Cousins playlist. Now, that's what I call because now we're flexing on him. Foo fighters, best of you at Las Vegas they go to the Raiders. What is someone who comes back from a trip in Las Vegas?
A good Christian boy?
Let Kirk Cousins say, I got another confession to make and I'm gonna need the best, the best, the best.
Of you to beat these Las Vegas Raiders. And by the way, tell me, maybe we haven't noticed this, but he has. Can you bring up the side by side?
Please?
You think this is all coincidence? No?
No, no, no, no no no.
Bring up the side by side. Kirk sees everything, he knows what's going on.
Bring up the side by side, My glove of God, I got a confession to make.
I need the side by side. This is a deeply embedded thing in the playlist. This is something nobody's noticed.
I mean, come on, the flowing locks, Lackner mins of Beard.
The brown eyes. Who's that? This is Dave Minshew? No, this is this is Gardner Grohl. They meet somewhere in the middle. All right, Kirk sees all of this for what it is. Let's keep going. This is not gonna be all great for the Falcons. Next track, Please three doors down. Kryptonite. Guys, they played the Cowboys this year.
Uh oh, this guy's two and nine against the Cowboys.
Two and nine.
He hasn't beating the Cowboys since twenty nineteen. I think this will be his kryptonite. I think, really though, he's gonna look at his teammates and just say, listen, we play the Cowboys.
If I go crazy, will you still call me superman? If I'm alive and well, will you be there still holding my hand? I think he's saying that to his teammates. Next track, This was my favorite one.
Next track, Please We're going to Maroon five.
I mentioned them already. Next track, Please God.
That picture is great I think you should be holding a cat in this picture.
It just looks so good.
Maroon five back.
To Washington, very personal game for him. Is this about the band or is it about someone that was drafted to fulfill the legacy he never could quite Do you know what Maroon five is?
Bring up the picture. This is not a band.
Maroon five is a direct reference to the quarterback he will be facing if I could have the picture please in somewhere here. This is what Kirk Cousins is thinking of. That's Maroon five, Okay.
Maroon five five. It's all the answers are out there. The truth is out there, Maroon five. He's even laughing right now. Cousins is not laughing. This whole thing. Isn't just a little joke for you to entertain us all all about. He's dead serious about this.
Okay, that is the Maroon five I am missing, And I'm telling you this all is has a meaning. This is all special, This is all deliberate. Laugh at Cousins, fine, but do not be laughing at the end of this. When he ends up, probably in the middle of.
The playoff race. Jimmy eat World, Kirky beat NFC South. That's the playlist.
If you see anything else, guys, if I miss anything else?
What about when they play the Philadelphia Eagles? What is that that's or was that the second week? Yes, I was hoping that maybe he would do Green Day there?
Yes, see interesting. Yeah, you know I struggle with this one because I listen all night. I did this Green Day holiday. Week three, they played the Chiefs on National That is the opposite of a holiday. Yeah.
I thought maybe one might have synced up with their bye week later. But no, no, no, no, that was a That was a fallout boys song. I have no thoughts on this. If you can find any way that the play in the chief should be a holiday, we'll find out. Maybe they'll win.
Maybe he knows something we don't know, Jamie ort All, you.
Mentioned he's a good Christian man. Stacy's mom doesn't doesn't take.
Us there with that.
The reason I'm a little tired today is I was up all night trying to find the answer for Stacy. He does have it going on, and I'm looking off for who is Stacy and who is her mom?
Or who does what she represents? What are these fountains of Wayne that I'm getting? I don't know the answer to.
This large I feel like he is laughing at us because he went straight into Kyle's brain when Stacy's mom Dirty Little Secret, and then Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, which frankly he is constantly indoing because he continues to make so much money time after time after time. This feels like a bit of a of a middle finger to his alma mater, because this is the song, mister Brightside, that Michigan play, Michigan plays in.
The third quarter. Why would you do that?
As this spartan Why also Kyle offended by.
No Creed, then no Creed.
Everyone's saying, where's the Creed? Where's the Creed? Creed is a little bit different species. Creed is more of a dad rock or I don't believe in the term. They call it butt rock sometimes. Now this is like kind of just this. I can't describe it anitherway Dennis office rock. When you're sitting there and you're filling out the thing and you're reading your magazine, they're playing Holiday by Green Day. So Creed did not fit on this. I can only hope that will come later. Those are the only answers I have. I don't have all the answers. The only answer I have definitively is that Kirk Cousins is telling us something here. If you people watching know the answers, if you can share some, please at GMFB break this all down, figure out the mystery.
He's got it going.
