GMFB Tuesday Hour 1: Harbaugh wins! Who's MVP? Will Tua win in Green Bay?

Published Nov 26, 2024, 4:22 PM

Hour One of the Good Morning Football Podcast begins with hosts Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Isaiah Stanback sharing their takeaways from the Baltimore Ravens victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Then they answer two important questions - who is the MVP after 12 weeks? Will Tua Tagovailoa finally win a game in the cold?

Good morning football.

Yeah, this is good morning football. We are live in Los Angeles and New York City today. It's a Tuesday, November twenty six. This is Akbar Baja biamla. That's Kyle Brand. This is Isaiah standback. I'm Jamie Rdall. Everybody looking quite festive in their holiday where Kyle Brand.

Thank you so much.

I know it is the season of angry runs so happy anger.

Oh absolutely, It's not about joy or being merry or happy. It's just pure anger, especially when the Ravens are playing on national television.

Huh.

Great to see you guys, Isaiah, Achbar, Jamie, and it is great to see some football next stoor to you at the Raven time. Kyle.

I did want to tell you that I'm glad that Peter Schrager's not on the show today because I feel like if he was, you would say to him, I would lay down my life for you, Peter Schrager, but I would die before I'd let you read a highlight on Monday night.

So as you do there, he already knows that you're not gonna come here.

You walk over, but you limp back. That's why Peter up today.

That's exactly right, Jamie or no, it was the Harbor Bawl last night. That's what wild Man Jim said about his brother John Roll the lead block for the Love of God plays.

Let's get to the highlights. It was a great quote.

Just when you thought Jameis Winston had all the great quotes from NFL.

Jim Harbaugh was like, get the hell out of here.

Look if they're feeling each other's biceps. They shared a room as a child. But look at Jim is up early ten to nothing until Lamar said, no, no, no, no, no no, that's.

I'm gonna walk this one in.

John now three and zero against Jim Ravens now eight and four against everybody thirty to twenty three.

What say you? We do the harball again in the AFC playoffs. I think that would be fun.

Afterwards, we heard from John Harbaugh and his quarterback, the raining MVP, Lamar Jackson.

That's not what the game games about. The game really is about the players, and the players are always going to win the game. It takes so much to play this game. It's got to be strong and courageous to play football. You really do at this level. These guys sacrifice so much and they go out there and they just throw everything on the line. And I have so much respect for players. Gym's the same way. We both try to treat our players with great respect and admiration and love, you know, and because that's how we feel about them.

Every game is a playoff game for us.

That we started off, you know, winning games and consecutive we's back to back.

We lost, lost to.

Cleveland, came back when win a couple, then we lose to Stillers. It's like, we just got to keep off foot on the gas. We can't we can't come up for a got to stay down and just keep stay out down.

Okay, yesterday we did a segment it's about just let's assess the bleeding in the AFC, and it was kind of hard to answer because that game hadn't been played yet. Well, now here is how it all lies. The Steelers still have the lead in the AFC North. However, the Ravens in the fifth spot of the wild card. They are just say half game back from Pittsburgh and INNAFC North. The Steelers play the Bengals this weekend, so the ball will continue to be rolled out and played every single week and we'll figure out how those standings make do Isaiah. Last night though Ravens came to town to La. They got behind, but they came back and a lot of it had to do with.

Running the ball.

Yeah, them guys are towing the ball. And then we talk about it all the time in terms of their ability to control the time of possession. Those guys. Whenever you're able to go back there and hand the ball off to Derrick Henry, what can you do? Well, obviously you can't do anything, because these guys had thirty seven rushes for two hundred and twelve yards as a team, two touchdowns.

Dag Henry went for twenty four for one.

That dude is an absolute beast, and people need to understand how hard it is, how difficult it is to be able to stop not only somebody of that size and that magnitude.

And then you get used to his pace, you get used to his temple.

And then you bring in a second guy named Justice Hill, who's.

A splash player.

Right, He's your change of pace back who's able to go out there and hit you with a different, different temple at different speed and.

Get you for the big boy touchdown.

Controlling the ground game Controlling the line of scrimmage is essential in the game of football.

Doesn't matter if you're playing indoor.

This matter you're playing in the early summer or if you're playing in the winter, like these guys are gonna start encountering some of these cold games. Controlling that party portion of the game is huge and if you can't stop it, you can't.

You can't win ball games, Yeah, you can't. And especially when you think about the fact that the Chargers got behind, and you know, if you're getting behind the Ravens, you're gonna have to have a combination of things, a a balance offense, but a part of that balance offense is being able to take shots down the field and this is an area that was just unfortunate for the Chargers. Quinton Johnston just could not get it going. And here's a guy that you think back to how he played. You know, in his rookie year, there was a lot of concern about his hands, his ability to frame the ball when the ball's in the air, and he improved. You saw coach Harpball come in and get his confidence up. There's no doubt that he's a talented kid, but it just hadn't showed itself. Well, you look at his first eight games. He had six touchdowns in his first eight games. We didn't see that type of performance in you know, the young Quinton Johnston, and I I think that takes away from the Chargers' ability to be able to play call now all of a sudden, you handcuff, you know, your offensive coordinator Greg Roman and going okay, what can I do? They try to rely on the run game. Of course, you get JK. Dobbins. JK Dobbins goes out, but I mean not just Quinton Johnston. I mean we saw Palmer, you know, we saw him dropping balls as well. So it was very challenging to watch. And if the Chargers are gonna make a move into the playoffs, as far as going deep into the playoffs and potentially maybe even seeing that hard ball ball again, they're gonna have to get that run game, go healthy in the run game, and they're gonna absolutely have to depend on a deep game, and they didn't have that in this game tonight or last night.

There's a couple of things I know are gonna happen in the AFC playoffs. I know Mac Collins is gonna have to make a huge play for Buffalo at some point, we're all kind of rooting for it, and I know Quintin Johnson's gonna have to make a big catch for the Chargers.

I don't know when.

I don't know if it's the first round, I don't know what situation, but it is going to come down to that. And we can just watch the Chargers and tell that what's crazy is the Charges were up last night. I mean, the first drive that the Chargers had was so beautiful. They didn't even have a third down, and Herbert runs it in It's like, Okay, we got something here. And then I think it became very appropriate in the Gym versus John thing because John started big brothering him, and I really mean that he started leaning on him. He's bigger, he's older, he's stronger, and so were the Ravens. I can't illustrate enough how wild it was that they went for that fourth down that deep.

In their own territory at that juncture of the game.

Guys, this is early. This is a sixteen yard line, it's in the first half. This is not the fourth down, this is not the fourth quarter. Do you understand that this is the first time in the a fourth down has been converted this close to someone's own end zone in the first half.

Of the game, and over a decade this does not happen.

This decision is nuts, and I think John's like, I don't care, I'm gonna start pushing little brother around. In the second half, they went on fourth down twice in one drive. As I'm reminded by Danny Hyphenz from The Ringer this morning, you know, they shared a room, okay, and talked about that a lot, and they had the same bedroom at one point, like they were so annoyed with each other and started fighting so much as kids. They had a line of tape down the middle of the room because they were just pissing each other off too much. And this is what happened last night. They big brethren them. They went with the noo gies and the purple neurpules and the stop pitting yourself, stop pitting yourself. And they couldn't stop Derrick Henry, and they couldn't stop Patrick Riccard, and they couldn't stop the tight Ends.

They have a formation with two tight.

Ends plus Patrick Ricard plus Dereck Henry.

That's crazy. The Chargers are not built to stop that.

The Chargers on defense are fast, they're a little lighter, they're a little slicker. They're not as stout as somebody like Pittsburgh who can stop Baltimore. So John and his staff realize that mid game, like never mind, let's just sit on these guys' head, like we're back in our bedroom right now, and I don't think they can stop us. And they were rights, they were down ten to nothing, end up winning thirty to twenty three. Sometimes Baltimore can do that now, not all the time, and I don't know if they can do it in the playoffs. But if there's any problem with the Chargers right now, they still are literally and symbolically the little brother when it comes to physical football against Baltimore. And there's a reason now John is undefeated against Jim because he sat on his head in the second half and that's the reason they want.

Yeah, you know that analogy just takes me back to my childhood. You kind of actually wounded me a little bit. I'm number six of seven, and the one thing I always had in my back pocket was mom, and that was me summonsing help for someone to come help me. Like Jim Harball didn't have that, like defensively, that was maybe one of their go to strengths that they could go to. They couldn't summons that. They couldn't summons that deep game that I was talking about. There was no help for the charges in that situation when big brother like you said, it just goes Yeah, I'm going to go for it on fourth down right right here, very very close. Do something about it, you know how the big brothers do do something about it.

If the Eagles have the toush push and the Ravens have the wet Willie, if it goes with mark an correct snap and they have the two running backs, yeah, I think that's what we need to call it. If that's what the Ravens are going to do on fourth down, even if his gutsy on the sixteen yard line, Kyle, why is it so concerning? And I'll ask the whole table this that even for the Ravens and is it still Lamar? Is it still this Ravens era that they can come from behind on the road against a tough AFC opponent, And even in Kyle subtly says, I don't know.

If they're going to be able to do it.

In January one could argue that it's nine penalties for one hundred yards, like, why are we still struggling with seeing the success of Baltimore Kyle will go to you first in the playoffs and carrying this type of game into January.

Well, Aikman was on it last night on the call.

The defense doesn't seem as good as they were last year, last year, and listen, Ropwan was out last night. I understand it, like he's one of the most important players. But as I've told you guys, they have vibes that are a little bit like the AFC Cowboys. And I don't mean this year particularly, I just mean that formula that the Cowboys usually have fireworks, big time stats, wins, ten to eleven wins, twelve wins, and then ultimately pretty disappointing in the playoffs, repeat, repeat, repeat, year after year. I do have to say something about and you know, we come in yesterday and it's, oh my god, Saquan's amazing, and he did this and that, and saque should be the MVP.

Lamar's having a fantastic season.

In fact, I want to everyone just get comfortable and relaxed for a second. Those are the only interceptions Lamar Jackson's thrown all year.

They're three and none.

Of them are terrible. None of them are even sort of bad. He's playing a wonderful season. Just remind yourself though, the interception leaders this year. The guys who are messing up left and right are guy's name, Mahomes, Love darnld Gino. At least three or four which are going to be in the playoffs as well as Lamar.

I love Saquon for every p I love Josh Allen. We're gonna debate it.

Lamar's having a much better year than he had last year when he won it. So we'll see if you can do it in the playoffs. But just for a second, in a big time primetime game and with a lot of stakes and coaches or brothers and another teams going to the playoffs, Lamar had another clean, clean, excellent game.

He's not making the huge mistake this year.

You're asolutely correct, and I think we're gonna get to that at another person of the show. But as we talk about what's different about these guys this year, when have the Baltimore Ravens been this dominant running the ball?

I don't know you're.

Arguing with that that'll be the difference.

That's the different uary controlling the game running their ability to run the ball at your will and impose your will on the opposing defense.

That is football. That is at the root of it.

That's football. You know, go back to the old school games. There wasn't a lot of throwing the ball around. Cash is getting the wishbone and go forward.

Right.

It was just I'm just gonna be bigger than you. I'm gonna outman you, I'm gonna push you backwards. That's what these guys do. You guys just alluded to it.

The confidence to go forward on four down, backed up beyond behind your own twenty yard line. That is like, I'm gonna grown man. You right, I'm gonna grow man. You can't do anything about this. I have a three hundred pounds full back. I have a two hundred and fifty pounds running back.

That is better than anybody that you have on your defense side of the ball. You already said it. Call.

There's a handful of teams in this league that have the personnel to remotely.

Compete in that aspect of the game.

You talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers, you talk about the Philadelphia Eagles. I'll wait for another team that has the defensive line that can compete with these guys. So when you have that confidence and you have those guys up front that know that they can outman you, because just personnel alone, there is nothing you can do. Oh and then by the way, if Lamar Jackson wants to take over, yeah, he could do that too.

And that's the part that I saw in this game too, and just kind of giving you an inside look. You know, especially when you talk about line play, you think about the D line. I saw a lot of passive approach, and why is that little lighter on your feet because you're concerned about the ability of Lamar Jackson and his ability to get out on the edge, and so tendency is to play a little light. And then all of a sudden you got, of course, Dereck Henry, who can run the ball. And so I saw the you know, uncharacteristically too, of the Chargers, they were getting blown off the ball, and I think a lot of that just had to do with the concern and the fear factor of playing against Lamar Jackson. Those two combination just very very difficult to stop.

Run game is great to have as the season comes down the stretch. The Ravens know that, as do the t and they have JK. Dobbins, or at least they did until he got hurt last night. Tom Pella sero, good morning to you and welcome inside.

Good morning football.

Where did the Chargers sit with their.

Run game right now?

Well, Jamie, you said it. They were moving the football early in that game until JK. Dobbins got hurt. It is a left knee injury. Their initial signs that perhaps this is not a major injury for JK.

Dobbins.

He actually went into the locker room, got a brace on, came out after halftime, tried to warm it up, but.

Just couldn't go.

It's worth noting this is the same knee in which Dobbins tore his ACL back in the twenty twenty one preseason. He had another surgery the following year. There is somewhere and tear there. I would anticipate there are going to be additional tests today as they figure out exactly what JK. Dobbins has going on in that knee. In other news, the former Giants quarterback Daniel Jones officially cleared waivers on Monday and is now a free agent. There have been several teams that have been in pursuit of Daniel Jones, who most likely will land somewhere as a backup quarterback for the balance of the twenty twenty fourth season. A decision is expected as soon as today about where Daniel Jones is going to land next another quarterback. We're keeping an eye on the forty nine ers Brock Party, who sat out this past Sunday's game against the Packers because of a sore shoulder. Now, this is not a major injury for brock Party. He did undergo an MRI last Thursday. They thought he was going to play for most last week in that game, but the soreness in the pain just didn't come out. I've been told this is nothing that is surgical for brock Party. He was able to do some light throwing in practice on Monday. Kyle Shanahan said, a lot of that pain is out of the shoulders. Still got to monitor his throwing. Shoulders can be tricky, but certainly seems like brock Party has a shot to be back Sunday night at Buffalo.

Time Ford.

Beneath the Surface presented by Microsoft Surface, Lamar Jackson is making the quarterback position look easy the same way I do when I'm operating my surf. Another big game for the raining MVP last night here in LA leading the Ravens to a win over the other Harbaugh Chargers.

So here comes the question. Kyle.

You've said, Josh Allen, you've said, Saquon Barkley, you just mentioned Laura Jackson. Man, make up your mind. Who is your MVP twelve weeks into the season.

It's really really hard.

And I think this is fun because I think it's undecided, and sometimes these MVP things, they are decided by week ten and the thing is over.

Here's where Eric come out.

I think Lamar has a lot going against him in voters' minds, not only because he already has a couple and when it last year and they're trying to get some other people. I think that Derek Henry thing actually kind of hurts him in the MVP conversation, only because you give so much credit to Henry and how much he's brought to it.

That maybe that takes some of the shine off Lamar. So that would leave Josh.

Allen and Saquon Barkley. And listen, if you take this thing literally and sometimes we do. Of course, Josh Allen is more valuable to his team than Saquon Barkley is, which is because he's a quarterback. I don't think he can You can can't just go apples to apples like that. He's been spectacular. Now he's had a couple of games where it hasn't been great, but that's fine. I just think, like, if you watch it from who has been the best player or most impressive player a.

Couple of these games?

I turn it on and I'm like, I don't think there's anyone playing their individual position as marvelously, as beautifully, as dominantly as Saquon Barkley.

That's not just the Rams game, it's the several other games this year.

And I have a prejudice against quarterbacks in this because they always win it. So on the personal level, I would like Saquon to win it. My long winded version says, I think it is a pick between between Saquon and Josh right now. I think Saquan has a slight edge coming off that Rams game. But this thing's undecided. We have several weeks still to go, and it's not always undecided.

But it is this year.

Isaiah in the words of one of the good movies called Old School, I like you, but you're crazy, man, You're crazy.

Lamar Jackson is the only pig. I'm gonna help you, guys, see this okay? In comparison to last year.

In twenty twenty three, when Lamar Jackson won MVP, he had.

Thirty six hundred yards passing.

Well, this year, he already has three thousand with five games left, he had twenty four touchdowns.

Well, he already has twenty seven touchdowns this year with five games left.

Seven interceptions last year, three interceptions so far this year, he's top twenty in rushing. This year, he leads the NFL in passing. He leads the NFL in passing touchdowns.

This dude is a beast. I don't care who he has playing with him in the backfield. Look at him.

He's filled out his high school reel last night. Did you see that play he put the brakes on at the goal line. That's the ultimate disrespect, just so he can put the high school on the NFL side by side.

But anyways, he's killing his stats from last year. This dude is leading the.

NFL in all statistical categories. You were ready put a highlight reel of his interceptions that weren't his fault. He almost had one last night, almost. But he has only three turnovers. He's not turning the ball over. He has a complimentary player in Derrick Henry, and yet he's still doing better in all his stat categories.

It has to be Lamar.

Yeah, I agree. I mean I like, yeah, I like Lebar. But I think if we're talking about in total, Lamar Jackson should be the nv Q the most valuable quarterback, But when you talk about the most valuable player, it should be Sakwan Barkley. And I think we all know this, Like we can get into the historic nature of the quarterback position and talk about, yes, that they are the ones who are constantly winning, but I think we need to really take time and look at the impact that Sakwon Barkley is having on this team. And I think it was highlighted by what he did against the Rams. I mean, the ability to go out there and put two hundred and fifty five yards on the ground like that is crazy to me, Like, let's just pause and think about that. That's the ninth most in the NFL. But you look at the eleven games He's played thirteen hundred and ninety two yards. Let's just ground up. That's what I like to do. That's fourteen hundred yards with a bunch games left to go out there, He's on pace to be Eric Dickerson the Great Eric Dickerson's record. But this isn't just numbers. I think you remove Saquon Barkley. I think we're looking at a very different Philadelphia Eagles team. He means so much to this team. He's genuinely carrying this team on his back. I mean, I don't know what else he has to do to be able to win this MVP. Maybe he should just jump backwards over someone and wait, wait a second, he actually did that already, Come on, give it. It's Sakuon Barkley, for the love of God.

For what might help is they play each other in a couple of weeks. That might in terms of the highlight and the storyline and the headline and whatnot.

Here we go.

The Jamis Winston experience from Thursday Night Football was so awesome because, gleefully, he's just frolicking in the snow.

This is my first snow game. This is amazing.

We is TUA going to say the same thing in Green Bay this weekend. The Dolphins and Tuatungue Bailoa get set to take on the Packers Thursday night in Lambeau. Temperatures bo Boom are expected to be in the high twenties. On Sunday two, was asked about his difficulties playing in the cold weather.

You mention significance of the coming game, and what do you think about maybe.

Playing in some cold and grevent Yeah, I mean, I'm excited to kill narratives, so let's go bring.

It on to a translation.

I'm excited for you to stop asking me these questions. Numbers don't lie though to you have struggled under center in games under forty five degrees. How much faith do we have that Tua can flip the script on Thursday against the Packers in Green Bay?

Up are not a lot of confidence. And that I mean, especially when you just think about if you've had this history, especially struggling I think seven games, you know, under forty five degrees or whatever it is. It's twenty degrees. That's cold, and I think there's something that happens inside of the body. Let me just get a little scientific real quick. The internal core of the body ninety eight point six degrees. And what tends to happen when you go into cold weather game. The blood starts to withdraw from all of the extremities. That's why your hands get a little, you know, hard, and you can't really move. Your mobility is restricted the velocity in the ball. For some reason, he's a warm web, the god that's gotten comfortable with all the blood drawn to his extremities, allowing him to be able to use and use his athleticism this time around. I've been in that weather before. I know how hard and difficult it is to play and cold weather game, regardless of who you are, but specifically at the quarterback position, who's shown a trend of struggling. I think that this is probably going to be one of his most underperforming games this season against the Packers. Not to mention that that defense they're going to get after it as well.

We're talking about football, right, Yeah.

In biology, it's one hundred and six other guys in pads that have to deal with.

The take you that you know what, Yeah, listen to it. Go get the big white thick draws, the work draws. Okay, put your work draws on. So yeah, put the draws on the thick ones, kay, the ones that you don't wear in public, but the ones that you need for this Gamekay. You need to stay warm, keep your inturn eternal temperature warm. Go out there and get your little wet suit. Cut it, cut the sleeves off, make sure that all that is warm. Get your little hand warmers, get your little toll warmers, and go play ball. I love the fact that you said you want to go kill the narratives because football is football. Everybody that I've ever played with, and I mean everybody, that's what three rs. You go out there and you look forward to these games. You look forward to the cold games. Now, now that doesn't mean that you're not cold. But I am my brother's keeper. So when I have all my boys together and we're all cold, never forget this. We're going out there. We're gonna win this thing, regardless of the temperature.

Go get the dub listen. I hope he does.

I can't speak to what kind of underpants is gonna wear, but like whatever works, man, they got all kinds.

Of options these days.

It's I don't think it's a biology thing, though I disagree. I think it's a psychology thing. I think it is between the ears, and it's not made up either, Like this is not a contrived storyline that this Chiefs game was one of the worst playoff games I've ever seen.

It was absolutely terrible. It wasn't just too it was a terrible game.

And let's just look at the numbers, so we don't editorialize own four sixteen points, say four touchdowns.

Five and a seven. It's just bad, guys, bad bad bad. That's not too U. That's not the too we've.

Seen the last few weeks just dealing touchdowns. It's a factual, objective thing, and we're it's not contrived. I feel like sometimes there's this thing out there, Oh he really isn't that it's bad, but it also is beaten to a pulp. I'm tired of talking about it, and frankly, for a Dolphins team to have this hanging over you as pathetic. You're in the AFC, you're gonna have to play playoff games in places like Baltimore or Kansas City again or Buffalo where it'll be even colder.

So you can't let this be part of your company.

You can't have one of your company tenants be that we can't play in the cold. That's the playoff games are played in January. They're not gonna move them to July. So get this over with because the problem is, even if they do win this game, and even if Tua does play well, someone will still say, yeah, well you're still gonna have to go to Kansas City in January, where.

It's even colder. It'll still hang with them. So I hope they do it. I don't expect them to, because why would I. They never have.

I hope they do it, though, because it's a beaten to death storyline and I'm tired of it and I'm rooting for Tua.

Well, I'll just say this one thing to you, Kyle. I do believe that psychology has to do a lot with it, but biology is a major factor in biology impacts psychologists much.

Anymies and eaters, they got hands warmers, They got warmers.

Those guys are taking care of Yeah, but I feel it's not the seventies. Even with all of the different technology. The body still can play tricks on it.

And you all know it.

When you're going out there and cold. You played in cold weather game the body. There's a thing called homeo Stacey's and the body wants to stay comfortable. You get used to being in warm weather situations, and so I'm just saying the impact has a greater impact on the position like quarterback. Not making any excuses for him, I'm just saying that's why it's impacting. The biology is impacting his psychology. If he can get over that, heulp and hydrate, he'll be good.

Welcome back, everybody, I'm Sheery Buris. The Lions haven't had a lot to be thankful for on recent Thanksgiving Days, losing their last seven straight games on Turkey Day, but ahead of their game against the Bears, so Stroit does have some injury concerns we're keeping our eyes on. First off, running back David Montgomery listed as did not practice in Monday's practice estimation, so with a shoulder injury he suffered in the win over the Colts, and wide receiver I'm and ross Saint Brown also listed as a non participant with a knee injury. Save Brown played ninety four percent of the snaps against Indy, but with a short turnaround this week, will have to monitor those injuries for Detroit over these next couple dates. Now this past week and the Chargers hosting their NFL Flag Regional tournament. Seventy five teams participated, and the conquered Chargers marked their ticket in multiple age divisions to the NFL Flag Championships next summer. We're excited to see them and the other California based teams battling against the best in the country.

To find a league near you.

Is it NFL flag dot com We.

Picked the Angry Runs winner.

It is Remandre Stevenson for this malice, this terrible truck job over Jordan Boyer, who we love. Sorry, dude, sometimes times you just get tuned up. I don't care if it wasn't an eighty yard run. I don't care if the Patriots lost. That's a beauty of a shoulder lowering and a big old boom.

And here's what you're gonna do now.

You need to get into madd An NFL twenty five. You're gonna play with Ramondre Stevens and an ultimate team starting tomorrow because he's going to have superpowers. He will be boosted with anger, with destruction, with tackle breaking. It'll enrage all of your friends, or your brother or your sister, or we play over Thanksgiving because Remondrace, teams will be like impossible to tackle because we just chose him. Play with him, send us your runs. If you want record him, you could be played right here. Good morning football. It's pretty cool, dude.

I love it. I don't care anything else about that right there. That is what gets me out of bed in the morning.

Get into madd An NFL twenty five Ultimate Dominate an Ultimate team starting tomorrow.

My friends read life.

I know.

Travesty Jordan player. There is nothing more american. I feel like in choosing a Patriot for Thanksgiving week to be boosted and Madden for Angry Runs is very American of you.

We all appreciate it.

Sure, And I think there's a lot of video games getting played over Thanksgiving weekend, a lot of people hanging out.

We already ate. What do we do?

Go get Remondra and if you want to put him against the Dolphins, smash And I know the Dolphins won that game.

The segment is not about who won the game. Every other segment is about that. This one's about who dominateds hell?

Can we do a quick assessment of just the ring of anger through twelve weeks of Angry Runs? Because I always think it's good to check in on just how we're feeling about the roster that you've kept up, and maybe let's just go around if anyone has a memory of like pick your favorite pick your favorite fighter.

If you will, Yeah, when you look at this, well it's not for me. I'll jump in and you guys can go listen. David Montgomery's up there.

Twice. You see him in the upper left corner, and then if you go three to.

The right past Derek Henry, he's literally holding two scepters that he's crossing like their katana blades. I love David Montgomery. He could have been nominated this week. He just didn't have that singular run that ran a bunch of people over. He always runs angry, though, what do you guys see?

Yeah, I have to go with Montgomery as well.

But if we're talking about like an R and B shoot right now, I gotta go with Joe Mixon. Joe Mixes one shot is nice right there. Yeah, we can't forget the King though. I think the King Derrick Henry, I mean his runs, his anger runs.

I feel like he's always got If he's not an angry runner, he's got a quasi Angry Run going. He just runs with so much physicality. I mean that photo right there just says it all like I got the hoodie all like what you know who I am? I'm the King.

Daniel Jones representing the international faction of Angry Runs. Dereck Henry. I appreciate how many scepters he's won because you can tell how serious the guys receive the scepter is by the level of intention with the shoot. So at this point, Dereck Henry's just like this is like the twelfth is one of these sticks that I've gotten, and I'm just gonna stand here with my hoodie and take this picture, whereas Joe Mixon's up on.

A roof tubel.

Right, we got seeing Well Marbley with like a full blown production video shoot, Kyle. The pride and anger you must have for this segment and the dedication that you get for the.

Teams I do, and I have to I have to shout out our guy.

Rarely have we've done an Angry Runs recap and we look back on a winner who is not even on a football team right now, and that is Daniel Jones. One of those things is not like the other, but those are the ones I look back on over the years, they're like, oh, who are your favorite?

Derrick Henry, incredible, Marshan all that. I like the weird ones.

I like that Daniel Jones one Angry Runs deservedly so in twenty twenty four to one, and a few years ago Sam Darnold has one Angry Runs before some of the strange runs where a quarterback especially just says not today, and whoever gets Daniel Jones maybe in if someone signs them the next five minutes, they get an Angry Runs winner.

And I'm proud of that.

I will say, though, I am a big fan of Daniel Jillones. Standing in front of that hallway door, it looks like he's in front of his fifth grade class.

Come out here, take a picture.

Hey, mister Brian.

I got yeah.

Let me tell you you explaining it that way, it was just as awkward as me handing him the scepter in Germany and being like you're yeah, god, take your picture, take it. He's like you I already got one of these back in New York. I was like, just take it to take the picture. Also, that solter was broken. It was German super flued back together and now I have it on my mantle.
