Good Morning Football.
Hey, everybody, welcome inside our show.
This is Good Morning Football presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky, live in both New York City and LA We've got football cover coast to coast.
It's Monday, Act Sober fourteen.
This is off Barbosa, Bamella, Peter Schrager, Kyle Brandt in New York. I'm Jamie rdahl Man. Points went off yesterday on the scoreboard.
It was an.
Offensive showdown between teams and windows.
And then Sunday Night football happened and you're like, come.
On, Bengals, what are we doing here? Just lingered at seven to nothing for a while, and then let's.
Talk about the Cowboys just lost forty seven to nine.
Afterwards. This is one piece of sound here from the owner. Pay attention, so.
You think can even follow what he's saying, Jerry Jones.
After the loss.
Generally speaking, I think my message is is, I know you don't.
Need to hear me say this, but I'm well aware that we're in the proverb buiful orb right now.
Jerry Kott, what would it take you to evaluate making a head coaching change in season.
Oh, I haven't considered that.
I'm not considering that, which so you're clear, I'm not considering.
That, but you've done it.
I will have to be a hypothetical in that matter.
Do you think I'm an idiot? Do you? Okay, well, I'm not going hypothetical with.
You about when I consider coaching change and a lot of the timing we're sitting here with, I'm not at.
All what a clary, little ornery.
Okay, so you think I'm an idiot you begin to evaluate being a head coaching change, I am not even being I'm not I'm not even considering that. Do you think I'm an idiot? I am not even going to speculate that. Oh boy, that was a bad, bad loss for the Cowboys.
Not the first time at home though this season.
And this trend even goes back to the playoffs in January, Peter the state of the nation on the Cowboys all Jerry Jones, Where do you go from here in this conversation alone.
Well, you mentioned troubling trend. You go back to that Packers playoff game. They have now been outscored in the first half one hundred and ten to thirty four in their last four home games one hundred and ten to thirty four. They were eight to zero at home last year. They're zero to three at home this year. Team doesn't seem to be turning it around. Even the last two wins, which we celebrated against the Giants and the Steelers in primetime, we were.
Saying, like, doesn't look great.
Like the defense found a way, but the offense doesn't look like it should be looking here's the brass tax. It sounds like they're not firing Mike McCarthy. But in a world where Woody Johnson said goodbye to Robert Sala after a two to three start, I don't think anything's off the table.
There's a bye week now like this.
If you look at when it's time to fire coaches mid season, and you usually do it during the bye week, and usually do.
It on a contract year.
This is Mike McCartney's, Mike McCartney's last year of his contract.
And the defense, I don't care how many guys are injured.
I know Kendricks and Parsons and Bland weren't in You can't give up forty seven points at home On National TV with Tom Brady saying, man, I wish I could play quarterback for the Detroit Lions.
Just a trouble. But like Jerry's.
Jerry's all in on Michael Carthy, then why didn't you give him a contract extension this offseason?
Are you all in on Mike Zimmer as a defensive coordinator? Are you all in on Paul Gunthart? These their names from years ago that are now and I look at the talent.
They are star heavy and you could sell a lot of jerseys with Dak Prescott and Michaeh Parsons and Cdee Lamb. But they sure are thin on that roster. They sure don't have a lot of backups when those guys go out. And I know Brandon Cooks didn't play yesterday, but I don't know if any other wide receivers did either. It was a really eye opening performance and Jerry might be sensitive, but at eighty two year years old, I don't know. I'm looking at it at a seventy seven year old owner and Woody Johnson who looked at his team and said, probably not gonna win a Super Bowl this year. I'm going to rip the band aid off and try to do something to kickstart our team.
This is the bye week.
If the Cowboys were going to do it, I would think this would be the time.
Yeah, what a way to celebrate your eighty second birthday. I mean that was just gut wrenching, you know when I looked at it, you know, schematically, it seemed like it was real easy to just take away the Cowboys. It's like, hey, look we're going to stop the passing game, right, that was the probably the best attribute that they had offensively, and we're going to see if you can run the ball. And they just couldn't run the ball. They couldn't do anything. They couldn't really get the ball down the field, run the ball. And I think that the Detroit Lions really played them well to a point where it just really exposed this big issue. This is a great opportunity for the Cowboys, getting ready to go into the bye week, to really kind of change that momentum, change the narrative, get that team going back into in Week seven. Now, they got to spend this week seven by going whoa who are we?
What are we? How do we come out of this?
Look, they really missed Michael Parsons not being able to get put any pressure on the quarterback.
I mean, look, Jared Goff was.
Just statuesque and just going out and just dising up the defense down the field. It was it was just it was an epic failure. I mean epic in a large way, like when you start doing trick plays like this to just like really show off and like I dare you guys to do something.
Try I bet you can't touch me. I bet you can't touch me.
And it's not like Jared Goff is like the most mobile quarterback, not that he needs to be, but he was just sitting there, just standing like a wreck, just standing like I actually thought I heard him go in the pocket.
That's bad.
When quarterbacks start going micup in the pocket.
Yeah, that's tough.
When we see the micd up of this GNNA, we might hear him say that. I think there's a loathness for teams to be the first team.
Of the year to let a coach go. I think they don't want to do that.
So then when someone breaks the seal, as the Jets did, then it's open season. Have you ever worked with someone who's greatest talent is office politics?
I definitely have whose greatest skill is just.
Getting the people in charge to like them and to go to war for them. I think we're there with Mike McCarthy. I think they should make a coaching change. I think they should make it this morning. I don't usually like lighting torches since they fire this man. It's crude, and it's crass not what I do. But let's make a coaching change. Peter referenced this. I want you to understand the historical context of this. Four straight home games where at halftime they're losing by fifteen plus.
That's the longest streak of all time.
That's never happened before, not in the twenty first century, not since the merger, since the advent of the game. No team has been getting its ass kicked at home at halftime more times in a row than these Cowboys.
And maybe you sympathize.
Because they have a lot of big injuries, especially on defense. All Right, they have the worst rushing offense in the league. They have the worst red zone offense in the league. No one has more red zone turner rows than the Cowboys, which is really the worst thing you can do in the sport.
They do leave the league in something field goals.
Mike McCarthy is not a bad guy.
He is not a bad coach. I don't even think he has a.
Bad football team, because they're worse than bad in Jerry's universe.
They're hopeless. And let me tell what I mean by that.
What is the best case scenario for these Cowboys that the defense.
Gets healthy and they pull out of.
This rut and they finish eleven and six to just get annihilated again in the wild card round by the Lions, the Niners, the Packers.
Take your pick.
That's the worst case scenery and not the best, because then that just resets the cycle and you have yet another dark age of Cowboys dignitaries like EMITTT. Smith going around to every show saying they can't believe Mike McCarthy is still the head coach on the past where he said, one of the reporters said to Jerry, Jerry, you've done this before mid season.
It's true.
Twenty ten, Wade Philip fired mid season the year before, they're in the divisional round, great, doing really well.
They started one and seven. Jerry did it immediately.
Jason Garrett comes in, wins two games, they finished five and three. It made a massive change. I just don't know what we're waiting for around here. I don't know why he started this season. I don't know why Jerry Jones is obsessed with Mike McCarthy. He says, do you think I'm an idiot? No, I don't think you're nada. I think you love Mike McCarthy. It's your eighty second birthday yesterday. Treat yourself. What else do you possibly need, Jerry? Do you really need a new hellapad on the yacht or do you maybe need a new coach on the sideline? Treat yourself. You've earned it.
I think the Cowboys fans deserve it, and.
Kyle something else they do well. They give the ball away a lot. They're second in the league in giving the ball away on offense. I mean, that's the giveaways. You can't win games Laturn of We know that. We hear coaches talk.
Yeah, they're not protecting much the Cowboys. That response from Jerry to say, do you think I'm an idiot?
To me, that speaks of a.
Man who he wants to be the first to bring this topic up. I don't think Jerry Jones wants to be incessantly asked about his head coach and the status of his his decision making and how he goes about it. I think Jerry Jones wants to stand up, let's say, on Friday, and say I've had a profound idea and it's my idea and it wasn't because you baited me into this conversation. And I want to be able to answer this question when I do about Mike McCarthy. Kyle, that was I know for you, you had to know what you were saying and when you said it and how you set it. When you say that I think the Cowboys should make a head coaching change, and now you're saying if the Cowboys are hopeless that Teeter's on the old parenting tactic of I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed in you. Because if a football team is bad, that's one thing to be hopeless. And Kyle Brandt is on a Monday calling you hopeless, then that is another bad thing.
Kyle. What got you here?
Finally, it's that thing about it at home they're terrible, and you think about the Cowboys fans. If you get up on a Sunday, we're gonna go to the game. We got tickets, we're gonna put our jerseys on, We're gonna Park and we're gonna tailgate, We're gonna walk in and four straight times, you and your wife and kids, your husband or whatever, you're just annihilating. Should we leave it at halftime? What is this product? So you walk into this beautiful edifice and this product in this star and it's just awful. And at the end of the game they lose on a field goal.
The game is over at halftime. I mean you're honestly thinking.
Like, should we beat traffic? And you should so it's not bad. It's just miserable and the future is hopeless. I don't understand. I know that's so negative, and I hate that on Monday. It's not what we do in this beautiful yellow and blue, good morning football world.
It's supposed to be positive. Find me the positive.
It's really really bad, And I don't understand why any other team would say we should make a coaching change. But Jared's like ready to punch someone if you even suggest maybe you should. I don't understand the loyalty you've shown plenty, Jerry. It's time to get to the bottom.
I think the optics are huge too.
You're playing three nationally televised games with Tom Brady on the.
Call, and you're losing by these nuts games and they're all at home. You look at it. They've looked good on the road.
They beat Cleveland in Cleveland, they beat the Giants in New York, and they went into Pittsburgh at one eleven in the morning on the East Coast and came out with the victory. But for whatever reason, their product at home has just been so substandard that Saints lass still rubs me wrong. Now you look at the Saints. The Saints are two and four team that aren't going anywhere. The Saints had six straight touchdown drives against that defense, Michah Parsons on the field, So there's questions abound.
And it's also the optics and.
In their building Jerry World, and they's get run all over and they have no shot in these.
Games and couldn't even score touchdown. I mean that's the Yeah, they score a touchdown for.
The man that's calling plays, it's not good offensively.
Ian rapport you should, you should before we go to Ian. I think it's important to say Dax after the game, saying I love that man, I love Mike McCarthy.
I'll go to warfrom everybody in that locker room loves and loves and.
Loves them, and I totally respect that you have to take it out of their hands.
The Jets love sala.
They love Salah, and if you love them so much, score a touchdown or tackle someone, it's great that you love them.
You don't play like you love them. So it's not your decision.
It is not well, as they said, where they're entering a bye, decisions to be made. They have some time to think on it, look at the tape, and it's not just one game. As we have said this morning, it has been a trend and has been trending downward.
Ian Rappaport, Welcome back into GMFB. Joe Burrow.
We saw it took a hit last night on Sunday Night Football.
He returned to play. But what's the latest on the Bengals quarterback?
Joe Burrow did return to player, as you mentioned. I want to get to the biggest injury though that we've been talking about. Aiden Hutchinson, the potential defensive player of the Year, expected to be out for this season after suffering a fractured tibia.
You see it right there.
It is graphic and grusove and unfortunately one of the really good guys in the NFL. That was a tough scene, guys. I mean, look at the players around him both sides. Tronta grasps his hand, trying to offer some sort of words of encouragement. I'm sure somewhere down the road there will be but some doom and gloom for sure. Last night, my understanding of that situation. Obviously, Aiden Hutchinson going to be out for this season with that injury actually somewhat similar to the injury that Dak Prescott recovered from a couple of years back. He was taken to Baylor in the Dallas area a trauma center surgery last night. Expected to expect to return to Detroit when it is possible might stay more than one day. His health the most important thing going to make a full recovery for twenty twenty five. But obviously a tough situation for the Lions and for Hutchinson. Meanwhile, for the New York Jets, they are still somehow unbelievably waiting for Hassan Reddick.
To show up.
There was a little bit of a development that we did hire some new agents. J Rosenhausen Ryan Mattha now signed to represent Reddick.
Numbers.
CIA's former agency fired him last week. Rosanow's telling me he expects not Reddick, but he expects to meet with the Jets before the game tonight. We'll see if a new agency can end this holdout and get Reddick to show up. The Jets have offered a one year deal to pay him more than he was scheduled to make.
He wants a multi year deal.
We'll see if they can come to a resolution.
Man Kyle said last week that if your agents fire you, you have a gut feeling that this thing has nowhere.
There's no end in sight.
But if Drew Rosenhaus gets put on board with a son Reddick and gets this thing done, woo, man, you got.
To be shaking your head.
But sometimes, like haking ahead coach in mid season, it takes a fresh approach to get a deal done.
Right.
Rap sheet, thanks so much.
We'll talk to you a little bit. That's Dan Campbell. He had his guys right in Dallas last night.
Nick Sirianni wanted to chat with the fans.
We got to talk coaches, best win in Week six and maybe a high class of personalities too.
A lot of Steelers fans there yesterday Yeah, those diffe was incredible.
Those terrible towels that was That was a lot. Plus, Hey, J Brown being back was very nice for Philadelphia. The Monte Smith played well. So honestly, Eagles fans, why was Nick Sirianni screaming into the stands after a win against Cleveland?
Can we get into this? It's deep, let's find out about this. Everyone's talking about it. So we're we good morning football.
Eagles win twenty to sixteen, and there's Nick Sirianni talking to people in the crowd. There was a lot of curiosity and clarification for what that was about what they we're discussing. Here is the head coach after this after the game, explaining why he was chirping at fans.
I was having fun. I was having fun and they kind of got some feedback from the guys. Is the sense of like, we need we need you in back, Nick, we need we need your we need your energy, we need your your your focus, we need your like I've gotten that from a couple of players. And you know, when I'm when I'm operating and having fun, I think that that that uh breeds to the rest of the football team.
Okay, so the Eagles one, and that is Nick Sirianni's interpretation of him having fun and being Nick Sirianni and the fact that this was apparently a direct request from players for him to get back to the old Nick Peter, Is this the old Knick Sirianni?
And how do you think this went over for Eagles fans.
It's amazing because he's got three kids under the age of nine. They're all in his lap and he's he's using foul language. He's saying the word a double consonant something else and it's.
Got the kids there squirming, and you're like the visual like, is he angry? Is he being happy?
Is he being I will just say this, I welcome Nick Sirianni in this fashion.
I want this.
This is content, This is a character, This is something that we feed off of.
He's got the.
Home fans chanting fire Siriani before halftime of a game that they ended up winning.
He shaved his head.
He's talking smack and then he brings it to the reporters afterwards and goes on this long monologue about you know, the city and all this.
The bottom line is this, the team needs to play better. They know that, and.
Coming off the by to just get by a bad brown seam.
They know they got to be better. But Sirianni could have done a different thing. He could have gone into.
The corner and quivered and been someone that he isn't. This is him, This is authentic, and he is a character in this league. And I'll tell you Saquon Barkley is not one really for this. Jalen Hurts does not do this, and Fletcher Cox isn't there anymore, and Jason Kelson's not there anymore.
They might need some of this.
So whereas the Philadelphia media mob might be watching this and being like Shreker, will you stop carrying water for whoever it is your there's no good.
Of what Nick Sirianni did yesterday.
I don't have the same vantage why I'm not an Eagles fan. I don't cover the team on a daily basis. And to me, this is a character in our league, and he is incredibly entertaining, and in this case, his team seems to still.
Be following him whether you are not. I'm here for it. This is him.
He's authentic, He puffs his chest, he peacock's a bit, and it seems like he didn't do the opposite during the bye week and go and try to polish it up. In fact, he doubled down, he shaved his head, and he came out even angrier.
Well something, it seems like a lot got shaved off with that with that haircut.
I mean, I'm not with this. I don't want to see my head coach looking like this.
That was as my father would say, that was EMBARRASSI why would you embarrassiti the Eagles like that?
Like, I don't get why you would let your.
Ego get involved no pun intended there, like get involved to where you got to go back and start chirping at the fans, like for what, like you're the head coach. I think Michelle Obama said it best, like when when they go low, you go high, like you're the head coach, Like I want to see you struct your authority like you already know you're in charge, and why because you out there winning now? First off, like like you said, really like you guys barely beat the Browns. Who the Browns can't even get out of their own way, Like you barely beat the Browns and that's what gets you chirping, Like I mean, at least if you're going on chirp like that, at least do it. I mean against I mean a big time team where you go, now what, but against the Browns like it just made him look weak. To me, I'm just saying it made him look weak. I get that take. I respect that take. There's a thought of it. It's unbecoming of a head coach.
And there's a way to act that is presidential and you should have that quality about you. Nick Sirianni does not have that quality. He's never had that quality. He's never gonna have that quality.
This is who he is.
It's who he always has been, it's who he always will be. Maybe he'll be fired someday for it, but it ain't right now. I'm trying to think of the word to describe him. There's a bunch like there's a bunch, and there's a lot that I can't say. I'm trying to act like if one word describe NIX style. I think he's a goober, and that's that's the best word I can say on TV. He's a goober. I have friends who are goober's. I'm a goober. Sometimes that's goober's stuff.
That he's doing.
Yes, he's got his goober haircut, his goober soundbites, his goober conduct on the sidelines.
That is who he is. He is. He was that on the way to the super Bowl.
He has been that being getting the Eagles in the playoffs every single year he's been their coach. He is a goober on the way to be in the highest win percentage of any Eagles coach ever. And look at the faces of his players on the sidelines as he's doing it. They're laughing, they're amused, they're into it.
CJ.
Gartner, Johnson Peter mentioned the guys who don't talk. I'll mention the guy who does this. I don't think you guys know how much s word coach talks on the daily and we got to go back him up for it. I'm proud that he's my coach and nobody else is my coach. I think it's very goobrish to sit up with your kids in the post game and start dropping swear words.
I wouldn't do it.
And some Eagles fans think that he brings his kids to the press conference.
So he doesn't question as a shit. Don't ask me that some ones. I've got my children here that's Goober's stuff too. Guys. He's never gonna change. He's always going to do that. So if you're sitting on your radio saying, why does he do this? This is beathetic. You may be right, not telling you you're wrong.
I'm telling you he will always do this until he is fired, and then he'll do it on his next job. And he's doing it to wins, and he's done it to a super Bowl and he's done it to winning record again, big time Hall of Fame Goober.
But he's the head coach and it works for me. He just walked me through goo Goober again. I hadn't heard that since like the eighties. I can't remember.
Yeah, it's like again, I'm just workshopping this. It's someone who like acts foolishly and comically and does kind of dumb things sometimes, but in the end he's one of your buddies and it's a little bit endearing. I landed on Goober, but we can certainly crowdsource it. You have to have a television friendly word for Nick Sirianni.
That's mine. I also think if he.
Was like a youth coach and you were like you would not and that's not because he would be like, that guy's the worst coach in the league, Like we can't look.
At him across our children.
This is the pros and his guys are responding to it, and he was pissed and it's like, I don't know again, characters welcome on this show.
That's what I say. I don't cover him day to day, and I'm not an Eagles fan, so I.
Don't have to pull my hair out about it.
Well, I know he shaved off all his.
Yeah, right, takes takes one to know one, Kyle Brads, That's all I have to say.
Yeah, I definitely, I think cast the Stones.
I know you are most Sometimes Carolina Atlanta Andy Dolon versus Kirk Cousins, the score would be a blowout. The Panthers would lose thirty eight to twenty, but they were driving and Andy Dalton threw a bad pick as the Falcons always always pursuing the ball.
They're four and two, folks, Texans, top five team in the league.
I think they are. I think they're very, very good. But they're facing Drake May and those gorgeous uniforms that should come back full time. Signed that guy they got throttled.
By Minnesota, but they beat up on pretty much everybody else. That's the fun Diggs second touchdown of the years, first since Week one. They had a going New England is not a good team. They have great uniforms and a promising quarterback. But Mixon, Mixon's been gone with the ankle injury for a long time.
He makes them a different team, or does. They're in my top five.
In the power rankings World forty one to twenty one was never.
Really a game. But Drake may look pretty good. Yeah, so good. He's very good, very good.
All right. Time for game balls presented by cd W.
There were a handful of special performances on Sunday, but you must give.
Out your game ball, Peter, who do you go to first?
You know what?
The Cincinnati Bengals defense had given up ten points or more in seventy five straight games. Well, they give up just seven yesterday. And the best player on the field was a player who played for the Giants for three seasons and was traded away and came back to home.
To New Jersey and was absolutely dominant.
Bj Hill of the Bengals is the first time the Bengals had all four healthy defensive linemen all season. It was a must win for Cincinnati season on the line, and Hill was everywhere. Remember BJ Hill was in the same group with Dexter Lawrence and they traded him away. Sexy Dexi goes on and has this amazing career season and gets this great contract.
DJ Hill comes back to New Jersey.
And was as good as Dexter Lawrence yesterday. He was all over the field. The Bengals saved their season and lou Anna Rumo with a one hundred different family and friends in the house, the Staten Island native puts on a clinic and shuts down the Giants offense in front of their home crowd.
BJ, Hell, we see what we respected. Jersey guy.
Game ball for me, all right, Yeah, I'm gonna go with an FC team. I know we've talked a lot about the Vikings, We've talked a lot about the Detroit Lions, but we can't forget about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because they're playing amazing football right now. And my game ball goes to none other than Chris Godwin. I mean, he was out there ball and he put up eleven He had eleven receptions for one hundred and twenty five yards, two touchdowns. But not only his just his big playability. He had that one big play for fifty five yards. I mean, look at that, just drown arm and folks. But it's his ability to block in the one game. That's just something that popped up to me when I'm watching the tape, I'm watching game, I'm going, why is this guy like out there just blocking angrily?
He was really a big.
Factor in them running for two hundred and seventy seven yards in this game. He does it in the passing game. He does it in the wrong game. I know a lot of receivers don't get a lot of love. There's no stat for how you block that dude right there.
That dudes a ball. I like Chris Godwin.
I saw this really great take online about the Bears quarterback from Sunday morning, so the vik's running by, I felt like, emotionally I could take a step back from the NFC North and watch the Bears and the Packers and the Lions just appreciate what was going on. So watching Kayla Williams was fantastic. Ryan Hickey is this radio guy podcast guy I saw online, so I wanted to give him his credit when he had this thought, which is, Caleb Williams is a Caitlin Clark of the NFL, so hyped up coming into the NFL, and the WNBA took kind of a slow start and people were obsessing over hating on this player, and now they're starting to settle in and the confidence, which has never wavered, mind you, has all of a sudden matched with the ability and the talent. So my game ball goes to Kayleb Williams. I have to go Caleb. He was so impressive. I kind of leave the Caleb electricity and dedication to his potential to.
Other people just because I can't speak to it as well.
I think just not having grown up in Chicago or anything like that, or being an SC fan. But it has been so fun to just be kind of a bystander and watch his development, but personally the way he celebrates his team and his teammates and watching his personality on Hard Knocks. Essentially, his play is great, but I really enjoy what he is becoming off the field as well, and the personality that he is embodying and just really staying true to himself. And I really like the Ryan Hicky Caitlin Clark Caleb Williams parallel.
That's a great one. I do it too. I'm into that, and I'm into this guy pound for pound.
There's not many players in the NFL who have better highlights than Jon Robinson.
I'm going to get my game bolls to the Falcons running back. I know it's against the Panthers.
Let me tell you how little I care against who they were playing against. We've been waiting for a Jon game and Jon highlight, and he had ninety five yards two touchdowns of staff were what they were. And in fact, Tyler Algier had an amazing game and he will be celebrated on one of our segments tomorrow on Tuesday.
Believe you that.
But Number seven for the Falcons look always like we want him to. We want the big Bejon highlights and the jukes and the ankle brakes.
And all that stuff. He looks great. The Falcons are going now, and I know the Bucks are too. They just beat the Bucks. They'll play them again.
It's a fun thing going down in the NFC South. But the Falcons are most exciting. I think when number seven has the ball in their hands. Peter gave his game ball to BJ I give it to Bijon. That's the game ball segment.
Jon, great job, very good.
NFC South had a nice little weekend in The Falcons look great. The Boneers, they are putting up points the NFC.
We got to keep talking about them.
We're going to wrap up our two hours on NFL Network for GMFB when we return. Should we keep talking the Cowboys? Siriani? I don't know, or should we go positive and say Lions are the greatest football team coming out of this weekend?
All questions we had, I got them Peter hands through, Oh nice.
Football.
Each week on this show, I give out a Coach of the Week award. It could be a head coach, it could be a coordinator, could be an assistant. I think no team had a more eventful ten days than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A heartbreaking loss to the Falcons on a Thursday, then they had to transport everything seven hundred miles from Tampa to New Orleans as Hurricane Milton was coming to town. And then on Sunday they unleashed an offensive onslaught on the New Orleans Saints defense in their building like none we'd ever seen before. My coach of the Week is offensive coordinator the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, mister Liam Cohen.
It the Buccaneers had more total yards.
Of offense last yesterday than they ever have had in a football game before, more than the Brady Bucks, and more than all of those great Buccaneers teams of.
The early two thousands.
From the opening kickoff where the Bucks elected to receive the ball, they never let their foot off the gas pedal, five hundred and ninety four yards of offense, Bucky Irving and Seanoker combined for two hundred and seventy seven yards.
On the ground, and Baker Mayfield.
Through for three hundred and twenty five yards in the air. Brady's offense once put up five to eighty eight. This offense they put up five to ninety four. You look what the Buccaneers did Week six of the Saints. So the first team in any any uniform to put up three hundred passing yards and two hundred and seventy five rushing yards in a road game, and this.
Week they were first. First first First.
Liam Cohen is his name, He is the offensive coordinator, and he is our coach of the week for Week six, And Sherry Burriss, you're our Newswoman of the Week for week six.

Amazing and now we also can't wait to find out who that special guest is going to be but still to come here the moments from week six, meaning Jamie.
And the guy is just scratching their head. Find out when that comes back.
Nothing to scratch your head about. With David Monktgomery and the way he's playing. He deserved to get paid over the weekend, and there he was in the end zone. But Peter, there must have been something that had you scratch in your head from over the weekend.
Why can't the Giants win in primetime?
They've lost now thirteen of fourteen of.
Their last primetime games.
Daniel Jones is now zero and seven in primetime games, and they do not win in front of their home STATEUS. So I could be the Giants guy. Just then there was this play here. It looks like the Bengals are going to put the game away. The game's on ice, and Chase Brown takes this and this is so Giants. He's got He's fumbles Giants one fence two Ji.
On the very next play he would score and make it a ten point game. But it tells it. Why can't the Giants get a single role, a single pounce anything. Giants stink in prime time?
They stink at home and even those opportunities just stink for these fans.
I'm watching last night, I'm watching the.
Knicks having weird stuff in the Timberwolves preseason game.
I'm having the Mets's nine to nothing, and I'm watching that happen for the Giants. It was such a cool week in New York for sports. It's already over anyway. That was my head scratcher, all right, So I'm gonna look at this one right here. This one was really interesting. Check this out.
So Nate Wiggins, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. He gets a PBu or a pass interference right on this or he gets the pass breakup, but it ends up being a flag thrown here. But I saw something totally different. This game was interesting. He's got two mouthpieces, Multift, What are we doing here?
His and hers? I've sen that both of them are not None of them is in his mouth. What are we doing?
Like?
You're supposed to wear the mouthpieces. You got two, and you don't even wear them.
Like.
My son is the one who actually brought this up to me, says Dad.
That's called jersey swag, And I go, what that's that old jersey?
So who told you that I'm like, no, what.
You know what it's gonna come to part too, is that someone's gonna have three. The unit's at seven minute abs right. Mine's not so much a head scratcher, is It's just a head donker. This is just dumb physical comedy. Andy Dalton, this is the closest we have to a Panthers highlight on the show. Today's in the red tone. They're gonna score the.
Panthers, not gonna he says, to throw it away. Smart thing to do, heavy veteran play and just bonks this guy. Oh we froze it for drama sake, but you fell me this. It was like final destination. Bam. You know what. My heart goes out to all the heart.
Really Flint operiders, he's tough as flinch whoever you men and women out there on the front lines with your Chris cross aplesauce down on the ground, getting the shot of Andy Dalton putting yourself out there. Peter, tell us more about New York sports, and let's go to the phone.
My gosh, you've got Dante DiVincenzo barking, and then all of a sudden you've got Julius Randall coming over.
It's some assistant coach. I don't even know. It's screaming out of it. Okay, sorry, go on, Yeah, we need the fire all brick fire him. It's not the answer.
Peter tell us more about how the Giants continue to try to celebrate teams of the past and teams that have won at home, and then they say, come, we're gonna make.
This one big thing and a big celebration.
And then the Giants are like, here's the products we put on the football field.
It is.
They're going to celebrate another Super Bowl team next time they're home.
They do it every hopfy I was there, I know, gosh, you know what would helps? You know what helps? You're there?
You know where to help? The guys wearing double mouthpieces like just have it.
I think. There you go that jersey swag, jersey swag.

From New Jersey.
There there they won the Super co
