The Good Morning Football Podcast is part of the NFL Podcast Network

Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.

Good Morning Football.

That's right, this is Good Morning Football. We are presented by Old Trapper Beach Turkey Live in LA and New York City. Crowded table today and that's how we like it. It's Monday, November twenty ben Thanksgiving week. Everybody at the table today. We have ak Bar Baja, Biam Miller, Peter Strager, Isaiah Standback, and of course Kyle Brant holding it down in New York City.

I'm Jamie Rutall.

I felt kind of badly about the AFC last week. We're just like going and going AFC.

This AFC do the.

NFC this weekend said, wait, may we discuss how powerful we might be beyond just one team in Detroit?

Peter, Yeah, it was a little bit to hold my beer for the rest of the conference. The Vikings, the Eagles, and I'll tell there are some teams out west that are going up and down, up and down, But the Seahawks have entered the conversation. Yes, hey, very good weekend for the NFC. And we got an amazing AFC showdown tonight here with the Chargers in.

The Ravens Kyle.

It was almost like a hold my yingling situation. What happened in La last night?

All kinds of things. If you went to bed early and missed the second half of the Eagles Rams game, how dare you?

What are you doing?

This is Thanksgiving week? You stay up, you watch the game, roll the lead block. Give me a generic stock photo of a blue football week.

Yeah, it gets me going on a Monday.

All right, we got the Eagles, we got the Rams, we got Saquon.

They're down early after Kyra Williams touch on.

I wanted to do us beb Can you imagine being Christian Roseboom walking up this morning watching Good Morning Football's like all the football weekend. You gotta start with display and you got to show it twice.

Yes, we do.

My friend, first play in the second half, after you talk it over, he goes, he goes. He got a seven year You're not catching him. The game is close, and yet the optics are because twenty six was the best player in the building, and in the fourth quarter the Sandman's coming out with a sixteen point lead. Saquon gone again again had absolute no doubt or in which it would have been a touchdown in two hand, touch or flag. It certainly wasn't tackle. Big Old, Smile, Big Old. When the Eagles would go on to roll to the strength of two hundred and fifty five yards rushing for Saquon Barkley thirty seven twenty.

The Eagles are nine and two.

The Rams got all kinds of problems at five and six.

This was tough for them.

But after the game, let's go to the Eagles quarterback talking about his ex New York Giants running back.

He's a hell of a player. He's a hell of a player. And I said that, you know, I said that after the Jacksonville game, and how a blessed he is to do some of the things he's capable of. And you a company that, you know, when you accompany an issue with other issues, you become.

A problem, you know.

And then I think we've got a lot of talent on our team, but I think we were forcing when we're all together, all right, this is.

What we're talking about when it comes to the NFC playoff picture. The Lions off to their best start since nineteen thirty four, and the Eagles have now won seven straight games, Sitting at nine into Peter in the era of should I go? You went to the game last night.

One of the main reasons I'm here today is because I saw on the schedule that they were having a Sunday night game between the Rams and the Eagles that.

I got to be there.

And there's a story that I remember hearing about from Alabama in the late in the mid two thousands about when they get off the bus.

They're scary being in that building.

When the Eagles walked onto the field and there was a lion lion, a giant roar of Eagles fans see of Green everywhere, and then you go one by one on that list and you're like, oh gosh, they've got aj Brown. Oh my god, that's Saquon Barkley. Wait, Jalen Carter is a beast, Like they go Playwright player, and you're like, Okay, off the bus, the Eagles are scary. I spoke to Saquon before the game. I was happy enough to have a credential, got a chance to talk to him before the game.

Locked in, ready to go.

And it's one of those things where like before the game even started, I was like, Okay, the Rams, this is a thing right here. I didn't realize it on television, but in person this is the thing. In the Rams, they might be in a bit of trouble. We go to halftime and the Rams trot out the ninety nine Rams Super Bowl team. Now, look, they're from Saint Louis, they're not from LA. It's not exactly the same thing as like an LA team that's where.

But still you had.

Kurt, you had Marshall, you had Torio. They're doing the whole thing with the ball, and then the band smash Mouth is performing because it was ninety nine so they wanted to get.

It was a festive scene.

And then right away Saquon boom touchdown takes your throat, takes your momentum, It completely rips it off.

This is it.

When you do this to start a half and make it a two score game, you're telling everybody in the audience go home, warm up the buses.

And yet he wasn't done.

This is the Saquon game, two hundred and fifty five yards, two touch touchdowns, and it's the single game record for the Eagles, obviously, but he almost broke the NFL record, which is two ninety six. To give it the full effect, and Kyle's highlight was awesome.

Let's relive it.

This was Mike Turrico playing hurt last night with a torn achilles. Unbelievable, Mike. Let's listen to Saquon Barkley's touchdown from the wonderful voice of Mike to Rico.

A six yard shy of a career high for rushing yards and he's gone and he's got more and he's gotta go line. What a night, What a season, what a player?

Two hundred fifty five rushing yards and his second seventy plus yard touchdown run and it only gets better.

Look, we're talking about the Lions all all week, guys.

What does this all have in common?

Here at Ravens home verse, Panthers home verse, Steelers at commit they do not have to get on a plane the rest of the season.

Wow, that is a.

Train ride to Baltimore, and that is a train ride to Washington, and that is all home. Don't be booking your tickets for the Lions as the one seed just yet. The Eagles might have something to say about this. That is a very doable schedule to win out. And typically when you're a two lost team in a conference, you find yourself hosting the NFC Championship game. So Eagles, they're just getting started. Last night might have been a statement game for Saquon and for their team as a whole. But being in the building, I felt it. It feels special. Also, there are those intangibles, and I gotta tell you, I'm waking up a convert. I think the Eagles might be the team to watch in the NFL.

Wow. Yeah, he turned into a convert.

Okay, I'm not quite ready to go to become a convert yet, but I felt all of that energy that you had. I felt it through the television. You could feel the energy and the shift. But you know, we saw Saquon do his thing. But the other thing that was happening was there just kind of a thing in this game was that defensive front. That defense was balling. I mean, they were just manhandling people, especially when you think about Brandon Graham. Brandon Graham, he came out had a massive performance out there, two tackles, a sack, a tackle.

For a loss.

But there was the other linemen as well.

Brandon Graham goes down with the injury.

With the injury, that's right, he does tear his triceps, and of course he was already saying that this is going to be perhaps his last season if this is the way he goes out, If in fact, this is what a great way to go out because he's played like an absolute boss. Milton Williams was out there balling. It was to me like not only Milton Williams but also Jalen Carter. Those guys had eleven quarterback hits. They were constantly in front of, you know, Matthew Stafford. Matthew Stafford didn't have a chance to try to orchestrate some sort of comeback because he was being harassed constantly. I just absolutely think that if the Eagles are going to go far, it's also going to be because that defense is I mean, they can play, and they are some ballers.

Vic Fangio, that's the name that everybody needs to be talking about right now.

If you're talking and you want to talk, everybodys talking.

Yet everybody's talking to sat Quan and obviously Kellen Moor is not getting the flowers that he needs for sent up this offense the way that they are. But Vick Fangio is the man that I want to put attention to. You just alluded to some of the guys on the defensive side of the ball. Yes, he has all the dogs on defense. They have invested a lot into their front seven. Specifically, you talk about big Big Dave, I'll call him Big Baby Davis. Okay, so big Jordan Davis, obviously, Jalen Carter okay, obviously a shout out to to BG right there. I talked to him last night. So yeah, I talked him last night, man, And now I get the lead from the sideline, so you know, I'll shout out to him and what he's done. If that was his last game, he went out on his sword, for sure. But these guys are taking care of business. These guys had they on't. There's nine possessions, okay.

For the rams.

Of those nine possessions, there was three scores, four punts, and one turnover.

These guys were on their tail.

Matthew Stafford was never able to establish himself as being comfortable in the backfield. Yeah, Pookinnakua got off because that's what he does, right, But other than that, these guys didn't have any breathing room.

This defense was all on their head.

Eleven quarterback hurries, four sacks, seven passes deflected in the eight TF They lived in the backfield, whether it was in the past or whether it's in a run game. And as long as that defense continues playing like that and they can tote the rock on the ground like that, this is a very dangerous team.

They showed why they're the number one defense.

It is dangerous.

I love that Peter's big fancy night in Los Angeles is hanging out with Oz Hakim snash mouth.

Peter never change. That's you, buddy, that's you. I love it. They now I'm all shape vern l on their forehead. The Rams listen.

I predicted the beginning of the season that Josh Allen will win MVP, and maybe he will. That's who I think will win it at the beginning of the season.

I want Saquan to win it. I want to break the deal here.

I don't want to have quarterbacks every single year.

Guys, let's skin into superlatives.

Over the last two games, he has five hundred total yards. Only three players ever to do it in back.

To back games.

Walter Payton is one of them.

He has two touchdowns over seventy yards. Only six players have ever done, including Barry Sanders.

MJ.

Deeve is the last one. He is the only player ever with two seventy yards tds in the second half. I think he has the story. Guys, he's getting the stats. Everyone says, well, Derek Henry had two thousand yards and he didn't win the MVP.

He could never do it, then sacred. If Derek Henry couldn't do it, Saquon can't. Yes he can.

Derreck Henry did not have the story. He did not have the freshness on a new team. It was a different deal completely. But here's the story. Forget Saquon Barkley the MVP. To have a running back at the MVP in twenty twenty four, He's going to have to run a perfect campaign. There can be no slip ups. Last night national television check. Now at the Ravens' late window check, they play the Panthers. That won't do much for him at Washington.

Got to do that.

Home Versus Dallas is going to be the last stop of the campaign tour where they just empty the bag and.

Try to get to all the voters.

Because I think that Home Versus Dallas, I think Sirianni has the potential to do with the Spurs did with David Robinson when David Robinson scored seventy one points on the final game of the season to get the scoring title.

Sirianni'd be like, screw.

It, let's get Saquon six touchdowns to get him the MVP. I just remember, it's not all about handing it to the quarterback with the best stats. Last year they gave it to Lamar even though his stats weren't great. He was the best player on the best team. There is a case for Saquon there. He is a shooting star, and only shooting stars break the.

Mold in MVP. Thought they wanted to do it and.

Last night was step one, but we got to run a perfect campaign and I think it can be done.

Let me.

I'm watching it last night and it's like, you have Saquon who's already jilted from the Giants, letting him walk out the building, and the running back market being depreciated. Then you've got an offensive line who heard all summer that Jason Kelsey was leaving, so they're not going to be the same. Then he got Jalen Hurts who lost six or last seven games last year and everyone says he's not This team was in the Super Bowl two years ago, and they've got the rare advantage of being like nobody believed in us and they were that good and they were a playoff team last year. They play with such edge and a lot of that people.

It rubs him wrong.

You know, Sirianni is not everyone's favorite coach around the league because of his and even when he trotted out the team called on and then he brought out the then they went for it. Anyway, like that whole thing with the third and fourth down convergion doesn't well, it was not.

Loved around the league.

Okay, that's like that's Philly in a nutshell and gosh, can't stress it enough to that.

Did that fan base travel?

And look at that fan based travel awkward?

Yeah, I don't want to.

We're here in LA and then the Rams are building something obviously and they've got a super Bowl.

But that fan base travels. Yeah, you know you you.

You and I were both at the Lakers game a couple of days ago, and this performance reminds me of Kobe's you know, eighty one point performance where you're just going, there's nothing that could happen, and then you see Saquon wearing the little Mamba mentality, the mamba ear rings. This was his Mamba moment right here. This was the best performance I mean, just ever, I mean three hundred and two yards total yards. It was just spectacular watching and I just remember a lot of the haters that were talking about.

All Saquon, you're stuck. He's not going to be the same.

Early in the season, people were unsure because of kind.

Of dropped him past that Thursday night game.

Remember that's right, that's okay, exactly right, that's exactly right.

It was in a Monday night game, but he dropped pass canst the falcaus. We were like, well, he doesn't catch the ball well, and look at this, heeh three hundred yard last night.

Three two yard. Oh my goodness.

I just want to say good morning to everybody watching us in Detroit, Michigan.

We are aware of your football team.

They're unbelievably good.

I know we're doing Eagles dot com this morning and I was part of it, and the Eagles are great, Peter.

Their fan base does travel.

I hope they are ready to travel to Detroit, Michigan in January, because the odds are they will be going there. Detroit looking incredibly yesterday We'll get into all the games.

Don't worry about it.

Yeah, we will. Speaking of the Eagles though, and then all the stars and the guys that get off the bus ian rappaport, Good morning to you. Who's our insider assigned to us this morning? We just hit on Brandon Graham. Isaiah Sandbeck talked to him last night. But what does this look like for the future of the Eagles defense? One of the heart beats.

Yeah, surreal situation for the Philadelphia Eagles. In what seemed to be a very normal postgame interview interaction, Brandon Graham child reporters that he was in fact out for the season, said, look at my tricep and you could see that that thing did not look right. Tours Tricep out for the season. Thirty six year old Brandon Graham, who really has been one of the heartbeats of that defense for more than a decade, in his fifteenth season, more than seventy six sacks on his career.

You wonder if this is going to be it for Brandon GRAHAMY do wonder if this is.

How he's going to retire.

You never quite go out like you want, but certainly with a team that is poised to go deep into the playoffs. As you guys talked about, he will be leading from the sidelines. Now another guy who's going to be leading from the sidelines. Gardner Minshew, the starting quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders. He is also out for the season, as colleague Mike Carrafola and I reported yesterday. He has suffered a broken collar bone, a significant injury, may end up needing a surgery to repair that. Aidan O'Connell, who actually came in earlier in the year, who has been on IRAW with a broken thumb. He is poised to come back, so he likely is the quarterback on Friday. But Gardner Minshew for a Raiders season that has not gone according to plan now out for the season, which brings us to Daniel Jones, and these stories actually may be related. Daniel Jones, former joh quarterback, expected to clear waivers today then could pick his new team, maybe.

As early as today.

Some intriguing options forty nine ers if rock Pertty's injury is maybe worse than they thought, the Ravens, if he wants to jump on board and be their backup quarterback, potentially eventually where the Raiders would be a team he could come in play immediately and have his audition essentially for the twenty twenty five offseason. That to me, at least, is an intriguing.

Option, absolutely intriguing. I'm back at which is more impressive Mike Tarrico calling Sunday Night football with his boot and his foot in the air. Or Brandon grabm just casually holding oppressor at his lockerom veiling. See what triceps not attached anymore? The role of very impressive feets from a media perspective, prahps sheet. We appreciate you talk to me a little bit, as I am sure everyone was well aware since we started our day off saying it's Thanksgiving Week. Thursday is the day they started with us. Though here i'll good Morning Football eight am Eastern. You will see Game Day Morning immediately following that at ten am Eastern. Then after both early games and the slave to turn over to Game Day highlights and cap off your day, join us for Game Day Final. It comes your way Thanksgiving Day right here on NFL Network. Not a bad day for the NFC, but specifically if you hail from the North, all right, the Lions of Vikings, the Packers, they all tackled some wins, although very different fashions.

Will there be en up room for all.

Three of these Kyle and a postseason holiday party?

I hope.

So they are all three incredible incredible teams, the Cowboys and Commanders. God, this was so good, It was so weird, it was so shocking, all of the aboves really really strange, fun, incredible ending. We're gonna get into every step of this good, bad, ridiculous. Otherwise, your team, your least favorite team, your mom's favorite team, your dad's least favorite team, every team. Good morning football, the Monday, good football.

As Kyle said, Lions, we see you, we will show you. And here we go. Colts Lions, Lions after their best eleven game start in their franchise history. Lions comfortable over the Colts, Thankty, four to six.

Your final.

All right, let's go up to Green Bay.

We know no Brock party. So Brandon Allen gets the start.

Maybe he does what Purty did a few years ago and can lead this Niners. It didn't go that way. Xavier McKinney, Hey, we're talking a lot about Saquon and the Giants.

Letting Saquon walk out of.

The building, Xavier McKinney walked out of that Giants building without a contract as well. A first year player for the Green Bay Packers. It now has seven interceptions, tied for most in the league. Josh Jacob's another free agent acquisition.

A lot of people scratching their heads, and let.

Aaron Jones walk out, a younger Josh Jacobs with the score.

Josh as fantastic yesterday. All right, let's get into Vikings Bears. There's Kale less than thirty seconds left to play, and they're down by eleven on a first and goal. Kayla makes a great play, goes to Keenan Allen touchdown. All right, but there's still work to be done. He's fired up, but I mean, nobody gets on side kicks. You can't do him by surprise anymore. They're down three Cairo Sanzos. He kicks it two shorts, but the Vikings touch it and that leans the Bears can recover what they did.

They get the touchdown, they get the on.

Side kick, but hold on, Kaylen's gonna have to make a big boy throw.

Right now to get them in field goal range. And then God knows what's gonna happen in the Bear's field goal.

Watch the rookie fastball, dam Dj Moore get down.

He does.

They take the clock all the way down. Is only a few seconds left. They can tie and go to overtime. It'll probably be blocked, right because yes, they had one blocked in this game as well as last week Cairo.

It's not blocked. In fact, it's good.

It almost hits the damn bulls eye in the crowd. The Bears go to overtime, they win the toss, they get the ball, They have an absolutely miserable possession to start overtime and that gives the ball back to Sam Donald, and Sam Donald just showed them.

The hell up. It was a lot of Hawkinson.

It was all over the middle, right down the field, twenty seven to twenty seven at this point they just Donald's falled down to set up the field goal, which they do.

Can the Bear's block a field goal?

Hell no, they can't. Vikings win nine and two. Vikings nine and two. What a hell of a record. Sam Donald gets it, ebra Flus and the Bears short again.

They've lost five in a row. Very exciting game at the end there.

Jamie, it was I was passengering in a car while that finish of that game was going on, and I actually had the audacity to say to my three children, I cannot address your needs right now. The Vikings are trying to lose their way out of this NFC North conversation, and it's a very crowded conversation in the NFC North. This is your NFC playoff picture. The Lions take up the majority of the real estate, rightfully, so on the left side of the street. Vikings holdstrong and a fifth spot in the Wild Car your first Wild Car team in So let's look there, because the Bears they find themselves off the screen and the Packers.

Sit just below.

I think if you look at that playoff picture, takeaway specifically, Peter, if you assess Sunday's game, where do you go When the NFCR.

Felt like a game the Vikings were going to lose, It felt like the Bears were going to come all the way back and have this miraculous victory and it was gonna be Caleb's big moment, and like here's calebs, Hey, I can do this. I can take this team, and I can beat a fellow USC quarterback, and I can do it, and we can do it. At home and then Donald wouldn't let that happen. I thought Sam Donald's performance in overtime was really noteworthy. The final drive, Donald threw for ninety yards and set the Vikings up for that game winning field goal. He had three hundred and thirty total passing yards on a windy day in Soldier Field. It's the most passing yards in Vikings history in that building, aside from Jeff George who did it in.

The early two thousand.

So Donald comes in there and I think it's a big statement because it's again Sam Donald.

And in the playoffs, it's going to be okay.

Well, when you got to pick your your fighters and pick your weapons. Are you gonna take Saquon and Philly, You're gonna take the Lions and all their guys, or you're gonna take Sam Darnald. And what was interesting is that justin Jefferson didn't have the huge game.

They threw that ball around.

Seven different receivers caught balls for them, and Donald and the biggest moment had two big shots.

And he's doing it all season. He delivers in.

Big moments time and time again. So in any other year, a nine to two Vikings team would be what we start to show off and would be going Bob.

I think everyone looks at.

Them says they're the third or the fourth team in the NFC right now, and that's fine. They're likely gonna have to be a wild card team. That means they're gonna have to go on the road. And Sam Donald, the Southern California quarterback with the quiet voice and not exactly the raw rack guy, went into Soldier Field last night took his team back when they need them. It went ninety yards in overtime into the wind and through.

Those big plays. That was huge for me.

I think the Vikings and Kevin O'Connell's team not losing this game, and it's been like, okay, so you take this one. We're the five, six, seven seed.

We'll see the player.

No, no, They're like, we get to win this division. I love, I love to win for the Vikings.

I'll go to the Northern California quarterback and I'll go for the best team in all of football.

The Lions flex yesterday.

If you had any concern at all that, oh man, they're going against Indy on the road against maybe a research in Anthony Richardson. Maybe the Lions are looking ahead of the Thanksgiving game. No, they destroyed. And I remember doing the show here in Good Morning Football the day after the Aiden Hutchinson injury, and we're all so upset about it.

You love Aiden Hutchinson.

I said, he's probably the second most important player on their team, behind Golf, and I just don't know how this defense is going to take off without him. Guys, Let's do a quick round the horn right now. Put you on the spot, all four, you shoot the number out. Over the last three games, three games for the Detroit Lions, all right, how many total second half points had they given up closest to the pin?

Go give me your.

Number fourteen, twenty one, Yeah, yep, I'll go twenty.

Over the last three games, the Detroit Lions defense has given up a total of zero second half point zero at his three games in a row pitching second half shutouts. Guys, it is so interesting that the Lions offense gets these ninety nine rams comparison, and it's a beautiful thing. The defense is playing incredibly over the last month of the season. There is not a better defense in football before you even get to the offense and Knuckles and sonic and it's the defense. I think they are so far right now the best team in football. I think there's a huge gap between them and whoever the hell Number two is. This was not a consequential game. The Coats did not score a touchdown. They crushed them on the road. We'll see on Thursday. Lions ruling Right now, I love it. I'm calling it the main event offense. That main event offense is so exciting to watch. But another team that is very exciting to watch, especially because they do it in a real gritty way, the Green Bay Packers. Josh Jacobs, I mean, had himself a game and he did it the hard way too, in between the tackles, those inside zone runs and just finding a way to just cut a run right in between the tackle and.

Making it work.

You know, this is interesting too for the Packers because you think about last year where they were towards the bottom with the run game. This year they've now moved up as the twelfth best running game in the league, and Josh Jacob is the biggest reason for that. Like them getting the Packers, getting Josh Jacobs from the Raiders has made a huge difference. I believe now this gives them sustainability especially in the playoffs, they don't have to rely just on Jordan Love's arm. We've seen Jordan Love throw a lot of interceptions, right. He's been kind of getting into that a little bit.

Of fone this game.

It was so cool to watch him just kind of sit back, pick his shots right, kind of pick up the defense. He was reading the defense like an open book because he has a solid run game to depend on. Twenty six carries for Josh Jacobs. That tells you a lot about how they feel about their run game. They are so confident. I think that this is going to give them that boost that they need to go further and further into the playoffs.

I like that. I like that.

Jamie, who'd you say?

It?

Was on the show last week from Detroit.

Scottie Montgomery is by chance David Montgomery his cousin or nephew.

I don't know he's.

Playing here, but he's playing like family. I saw all I know, listen up, David Montgomery and Jamier Gibbs. All right, Sonic and Knuckles. I saw the commercial for was it Sonic three coming out? That must be getting ready for it because this dude and these two guys are playing lights out. These guys are averaging one hundred and fifty yards on the ground. Okay, one hundred and fifty on the ground. That is fourth in the league right now. The first place in the league is right now is Philadelphia, obviously because of Saquan.

And what he's doing. The only difference is, say.

One of those guys have twenty two touchdowns on the ground and they give up the ball sixteen times in terms of fumbles. Detroit twenty giving the ball up eight times in regards of the fumbles, then twenty one touchdowns.

So what does that mean.

That means that these guys are controlling the line of scrimmage, You're controlling the ground game. They're getting splash plays, and they're not giving it back to the opposing team. When you have an offense that is didominant on the ground game, okay, and you have also the passing weapons, and you have the quarterback that can get the ball to these guys, that becomes a very dangerous team. Whenever you can line up and go straight ahead and control the time of possession and not turn the ball over.

Who can stop you.

What's interesting is I think a lot of people looked at that game and said, Okay, they're at Indy. You got a short week and then you play the Bear like that could be a trap game. And to Kyle's point, it's not like they don't get caught like they just blow teams out, they snap your neck. They're very, very very entertaining to watch it. But they also don't give up any points.

That's hard to beat.

Can I say something bold and wild? I do, right, I believe the main event offense is better than the greatest show on turf.

Now.

I don't know the numbers in the stats, but when I watch what my eyes tell me, I like the main event offense for for the Lions. Over, let's calm down a little bit. The hype abn On Marshall falk.

Out there, Orlando Pace, Isaac Bruce, Yeah, said.

They're good, They're good. All right, here we go. Let's just get into it. The Commanders have lost two straights, the Cowboys have lost five straight.

So why is it so exciting where there's the older relationship there?

So Cooper Rush came to play. Cooper Rush is pretty good.

Yesterday I was actually proud of Cooper Rush. So like Mike McCarthy was too, but down twenty to nine. Jayden, what's going on? I thought you guys never punted. Okay, touchdown, zach Ertz. You love to see it. There's only three minutes left. Where are we gonna go with this game? I'm just gonna give us some kind of flourish.

Oh you just wait? All right?

So Commanders down three, Cowboys up three. Camante Turpin fumbles it, but then hold on. He does the craziest spin I've ever seen, and he's gone. I'd like to see Camante Turpin race Tyreek Hill. I'm just gonna call Tyreek out right now. The fastest player in the NFL might be on the Cowboys. I know he's the fastest Cowboy and he was certainly the fastest player on the field.

Camante Turpin. So that's over. There's your fireworks. I hope you enjoyed it. Everybody drive home safely.

Wait a second now, Washington down, seven thirty seconds left.

What's going on here? You go to mclorin, all right, so to.

Tackle him, tackle them, tackle them.

They don't.

He's gone, what the hell? What in the name of the Superdome? In case Kenam is going on here? He scores, all right, so kick the extra point, we're going to overtime.

He goes, ah, he misses the extra points?

What he misses it?

Watch the snap is low, but they get it down. I mean, it's not a fifty eight yeard field goal. It's just he just dead hooks it, and it's an unbelievable thing. Mike McCarthy goes crazy. Journey Miles frankly, I don't even happen. I'm a damn shot sheet. There were more plays after this. There was an on site kick touchdown. I promise you what really happened. His is thirty four to twenty six ridiculous ending. But guys, the Cowboys won. The Cowboys are there, I say, alive. And the Commanders have lost three straight games.

What the hell's going on here?

Let's go to Quinn and McCarthy and Daniels and anybody who wants to talk about.

The craziest ending of any game this year.

What I told the team after the game was that this is the most challenge we've been in our time together, and I remind it's not enough to learn the lessons.

But we have to apply them.

And that was just a game since situational extravaganza.

I mean, it's just sweet weet. I mean, you know it's like yachtzi. You know everything was in there.

I mean, I couldn't even tell you my type of emotions. But as I'm learning, man, you know you don't ride the roller coaster. You stay even killed throughout it all. Because it's a long season, a lot of things can happen in a game in the NFL. So man, he tries to even kill and control the things you can control.

How can you stay even keeled when thirty one points are scored in the final three minutes and six seconds.

That was wild?

It was pre madness, pea madness.

Obviously, you know, obviously I worked for the Dallas Cowboys on a pregame show, three post game shows, so I talked about this a lot last night. This game was absolutely insane. I'm not sure that you could really feel good about really any of it.

But you take the victory and Lasa Kyle said.

Are they alive? Do they have a little bit of a heartbeat? And I think that they actually do. The thing that the story about this game for me was the defense, and these guys stepped up in a major way. Now the stat line's not going to show it that way, but these guys stepped up in a major way. You had Treyvon dis who did not get in the game. He didn't play yesterday, so you have a huge void there. Okay, Deron Bland, who the All Pro cornerback, he comes back. But there's a dude by the name of Josh Butler who just showed up and made big plays after big plays.

And you see the.

Scary Terry statline there.

We had one hundred and some yards receiving.

Well eighty five of those yards came on that last play that you just saw right there, so he was really shut down majority of the game as well. The Washington Commanders lost this game because of all the mistakes that they had. They Jayden Daniels threw an interception that was on a screenplay that he really shouldn't have thrown.

He should have thrown it at the feet of.

The running back. Paints, had a fumble right by Donovan Wilson, who really punched that thing out. Did a heck of a job. Schoolmaker touchdown was really a drop a drop coverage they had. They had miscommunication there so that shouldn't have been given up. Two pats that were missed, and then was it the dog I kick off byjony A. Thomas goes out there, scoop and score and takes that thing all the way to the house. The Commanders lost his game. The Cowboys stayed close enough in this game for some crazy stuff to happen so that they can walk out with the victory. It doesn't matter how you get the dub as Jameis Winston said, just eat the duve.

The Dallas special teams bones fossils and putting that into the Louvere Either. They missed a thirty five yard field goal that was blocked early on. They had a field goal Aubrey HiT's a HiT's the upright, and then of course you have two extra points missed from Washington. But we also might have had the greatest single move in the history of the NFL.

Was that a video game?

But what.

Kyle would usually be the one doing this.

So I'm gonna try my best to do some physical activity here.

Okay, so let's see it. Don't drop, sit, not gonna get hurt. I promise it's this. Okay, So here we go. Follow me here. Okay, this is it?

Oh that look good?

That look good?

Okay, So dare back.

Try this.

What that was like, Oh, let's see.

So what you guys got to see is the fumble boom picked it up. I'm sir, Bagel was going off and then I'm gonna get everybody going this way. Once I get everybody going this way, put your foot in the ground in all gas, no breaks. That'm wymonthe Turpy's nast Okay, I see you with the King.

You did it with the Ken Griffies too, right there. The boy's nice.

The Loafers versus the Ken Griffies, it does.

It's very different.

Yeah, I'm gonna say to do those in loafers. That's that's a big deal. I'll tell you what else is a big deal is the fact that it was not lost on me that on the weekend where Gladiators and Wicket came out, I mean, this was like a blockbuster show. This When you sit here and you watch this and you think about the headlines, this to me like was more like the best drama. Think about the fact that the Cowboys came into this game losing five straight, and then not only that they didn't have Dak Prescott, Brandon Cooks, they didn't have DeMarcus Lawrence, Zach Martin Trevon Diggs. They didn't have types. I mean, they were missing a lot of key pieces and they were still able to eat the duve. I mean, that doesn't happen against a team of this caliber. And so what I loved and appreciated about this is that these guys, the Dallas Cowboys, they showed that they had the gladiator spirit.

Because this is very easy to tank in.

When you've got your backup quarterback Cooper Russian there, it's very easy to go you know, I'm gonna tank this. But they came out and said, you know what, We're going to entertain the heck out of you because we are gladiators.

I'm so charmed right now. We all relate.

Sometimes in the middle of the show, you grab your phone and start texting the prediction boots to grab this.

Have this.

Like Peter was halfway through his spin and I'm just like, grab that.

I need it.

This is the best thing I've ever seen. Grab it, grab it.

We will be seeing that again later in the show. Peter, I'm proud of you for getting up. You got actual pennies in the lofers and your little buster brown shoes.

You got on, and I love it. You did a great spin.

We'll get back to it.

You know what I like.

I like when this game is going on, and inevitably you'll follow someone on social media he'll be like, this game is drunk, and it's like, no drunk is when like one team throws an interception, then the other team on the next play. This is like the game that you're like, hey, where'd this game go? We haven't seen him in a couple of hours, and you go back in the bathroom at the bar and they're passed out in the stall on the ground with their head and the toilet, and they're wearing a shirt that says, take me drunk, I'm home.

It was an unbelievable thing.

I cannot believe that the Cowboys made a play, maybe the worst play of the year, which was the McLaurin play, and that kind of breakdown and not tackling him.

I mean, that was an awful play. There's actually no reason this should happen. I credited. I said, it's like case Keenum is the fine Diggs. I think I said the super dumb But you.

Know what I mean, this was I understand why that happened. The Saint Safety fell down. This is just like the Cowboys just kind of let him run by. It's probably the worst play of the year, and the Cowboys won. They won this game when they let this play happen. It's in a crazy, crazy, exciting finish. And here's what I would say to you Cowboys fans. I'm not gonna tell you not to check the schedule this morning. If you want to go check the schedule and find how you can.

Make the playoffs, that's fine. That's what football is all about. That's what this time of year is all about.

I'm not going to discourage you from doing it and saying you're gonna make a miracle run with Cooper Rush.

Go ahead. Look, but I will.

Say this, I don't recognize this Commander's team from the one we saw in September. In early October, we were having jokes that, like we said that Trustway, the Commander's punter was the maytag Man because they never need him. Trustwait literally dressed up as the maytag Man for Halloween because of what we said on this show. Now I see him out there all the time. They constantly are using the maytag Man. Jane Dails does not look like anything like early season Jane Daniels.

I know he was hurt. He's a rookie. I don't want to be too hard on him.

They've lost three games in a row, and just don't mess around and blow this thing. There's a couple really dangerous NFC teams right now. Seattle is certainly one of them that would be happy to jump in and take a commander's playoff spot. Crazy loss yesterday, I mean really crazy. That game was thrown up in the bathroom in the second quarter, it felt like. But commanders, just be very, very careful on this thing, because I thought you were a great defensive team too.

You haven't been that either, Gole.

Now this game was you gone out all day. You get back to your hotel and you're about to hit the elevator and people are like no, no one more at the hotel bar, and you're like, I'm the queen of running it back for one. I understand this parallel clearly.

Look at the on site game. Let's go down, dude, dude is over. Good football. Welcome back to Broncos.

Snapping an eight game moving streak on the road against the Raiders Sunday, thanks in part to the performance of wide receiver Courtland Sudden. We're gonna take you to this game for this week's replay review. The Broncos at the goal line. Bo Nick's connecting with Sudden in the back of the end zone for the touchdown replay review confirming Sudden able to make the catch and watch he gets both feet in bounds. It was second touchdown grab.

With the game.

He's able to keep both feet in Broncos when he hit twenty nine nineteen. Now coming up, we're going to tell you the plays you need to see over and over and over again. You got to rewind.

That is next.

Kyle, take us back which play from yesterday? Did you want to grab your remote and remote for I have to see one more time.

We have to take you back twenty minutes ago because the play that I had scheduled show was Covente.

Going on this this is so much better.

Never mind Cavante Purfin, give me a ragonte.

There he is.

I love it, and watch out. Peter has his left hand up the far room and like dicabri on the Wolf of Wall Street doing the wedding dance break, you just look awesome, and there they are.

You know that that was very practical.

You could do because he did this because he saw the tackler coming and he's like, you know what the sing what the swipe?

I was just ready in case I had to do an angry run, Kyle. I was ready, dude, I was ready to I don't think anything angry there. Have you heard of a no look counter bluff? Yeah, I talk ball a no look counter bluff. It faked out the cameras. This is what Mike McDaniel.

Has going on a no look counter bluff for verse play. Look at this, he doesn't even look at his flips it over his shoulder. The cameras are all twisted up.

Mike McDaniel still has that bag of tricks.

And of course we love this.

Rookie jayden Right that they've gotten now involved. He's one of the fastest players in football out of Tennessee Dolphins.

Here they come, folks.

I need an unflinching on waivering dedication like Kyle does to Peter segments like I did, drawl pray low. Look at this field judge on a Spencer Schrader kick.

He's so committed to the ball hit never wow, tinch using your head. Woa damn.

That is a commitment.

To your craft, Isaiah. Next the next ability on that.

That was crazy. Alright, let's look at mister big Mayfield.

We're talking about lee block lee blinck.

There goes Bucky Irvy running down the field.

But hearry go.

Here goes Baker maybe.

Hey, hey, come over, no, I got you back prot turn back and get that block for you.

You get another twelve yards running. Let's run that back.

One time Baker Mayfield was like old school talking about.

Hey, snoop snoop a loop.

Hey, you in your green hat, come on over here, forgot you don't worry about it. You see him looking back over there. He said, wait a minute, white white for white for it, and I got you. Let's go come this with you shout to get my point. Peel back, goat and get some more yards budget. Then let me run up there and hype you up. That's right, I did that.

You see you see the vision awareness, the appropriate exception.

The man was able to feel back and get a block. I love it.

In Greek mythology, the Titans weremindier than their gods. They ruled their universe with absolute power. Well guess what that power was? To go see them a punk? Wo Yes, you see the big tight end running seventy yard touchdown here.

I mean to think the fact that this was the massive upset.

We're talking about the Titans feeding the Houston Texan and chegosium of punk Wo. He goes out there and he does it big. I just had to give him some love with this one. It was a big run, big touchdown. This actually read like the book of Course things fall apart. This is exactly what he did. That whole team for the Texans. They fell apart and he got the seven yard touchdown.

We have our own Greek god on the show here, and his name is Peter Schrager. When he gets up from the table and he hits us with a loop.

A dupe or whatever.

Get here, plant Peter, it's excellent.

We gotta do it side by side with Turpin's actual s.
