Good Morning Football.

Welcome to Good Morning Football, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerkey. We are live in Los Angeles and New York City. We have made it to Friday. We have started week ten here in LA I am Sherry Burrs with Akwar, Baja b and Millow. We have Steve White who woke up bright and early with us.

It's Friday.

Kyle Brant holding things down in New York and Kyle, you're rocking a very awesome angry run shirt of Daniel Jones of all people. Not sure we saw some angry runs last night or Thursday Night football, but there was definitely some angry plays in general.

Yeah, we've made dozens and dozens of these shirts. I think that Daniel Jones one is my favorite one. It just says collector's item and by the way, kind of the face of NFL football in Germany this weekend, Daniel Jones, go have a game, my friend. In the meantime, the face of football in the United States last night was too.

It was Lamar Jackson, it was Joe Burrow.

Guess what they never beat Lamar Jackson either, and they didn't the All Purples. It was thirty five thirty four in the conversation for most entertaining game of the entire year.

You're welcome, Mamazon.

Congratulations afterwards, Lamar Jackson and Jamar Chase, who again had two hundred and sixty four yards and three touchdowns on another hard fought ANFC North battle.

I was telling my guys on the phone line, we got a score. If they scored, we got to score. You know, that's the type of game it's gonna be. We've seen that from the first nap, you know. But I'm proud of my guys because we finished one of those these tough type game type tough type environment environmental games we came through.

I don't think we have a lack of killer instinct. I just don't. I just don't think we finishing the right way at the end. I feel like the offense had a chance to play it away.

We didn't.

We let that slip short.

I would never in a millionars expect me to plait his well and he plitus well, and we still have.

A record like this.

Yeah, I'm always open.

He did you dietdn't hear that?

They said?

Were you open on the two point convergence that I always am? All right, here's the playoff picture right now. If the playoffs were to start today, I think the interesting things here. Look in the wildcard column right down the middle, the Broncos would be in in the Chargers. But more appropriately after last night, if you look on our lurking that category, which is pretty ugly, there's the Bengals. Jamar Chase can say he was open. He can put up six hundred yards in a game if he wants. They're four and six, they've played ten games, they've lost six of them.

They I don't know if they're going to make it in this year. Guys. They got a lot of work to do.

It really needed last night's sherry and they didn't get it.

Yeah, they're odds of making it into late January, just getting slimmer and slimmer. But it is because threeven's offense was so dominant. But it's the defense that really has us scratching our heads and is a real concern even over that win in the Bengals. It's funny, you know, It's so fickle fans can be that at one point they are booing Lamar Jackson, Steve. But then by the end of the game, they are chanting MVP for Lamar Jackson as we look at the big pitcher taking a step back here in Baltimore.

What did this game tell you?

Well, look, this game told me what we've seen from the Ravens all season long, and that this defense is not.

It right now.

I mean, if they get into a game against the Chiefs, who's defense can slow down this offense? So I'm their defense is not played well enough to win a game like that. So this is where Look, I spoke to the outside linebacker Calivan only a couple of weeks ago before they played the Broncos. He just said, things are not marrying between the front seven and in the secondary.

This is a secondary that.

Is allowing almost three hundred passing yards a game.

That's worse than the NFL. This is not you know, with Ed Reed and.

These guys on the back and rod Woodslord they developed on the back end. And that's one thing that they talk about in Baltimore is defensively, they are not playing up to the historical president and that's not good.

We see this play right here, TV's look like their in slow motion.

We see their inside linebackers get caught in all kinds of bad positions on pass plays. Here, Marcus Williams just completely you know, ran away from the coverage. It's a busted coverage. Communication is an issue. And I'm telling you, as good as the Ravens are, they're not gonna be able to hang thirty on every team.

This defense has got to tighten up.

You know, people will say for the organization, will tell you, well, at least we know we've got room to grow.

You better start growing pretty quickly.

You better hit puberty quickly on that defense because other teams are going to start getting better now that we're getting into November football.

Yeah, it's really bad for this defense. Looking at it, it is a liability. They literally need like Jake from State Farm or some type of insurance back there, because that back half they can't stop anybody. I know they picked up Tradevius White. I'm not sure if that's even going to once he gets going, if that's even gonna be insurance enough. You know, they have the unfortunate thing to kind of end that game, lose Kyle Hamilton during that play, during that one play. But I look at this and I'm going. The Bengals had no fear and no respect for this defense. The way they were able to march down on the field and just throw at will. I mean, you look at what they've done, like just with one player, I mean Jamar Chase just was going at it. They went for it on fourth downs four times, saying I don't respect your defense. I'm just gonna throw it whenever we want first down, second out, ThReD it doesn't even matter. Third downs they completed in the red zone as well. They had a high completion one hundred percent of the third downs they completed. They went after them. I look at this and I go you look at the untimely penalties. You look at the holding by Brandon Stevens that calls them. They had miscommunication on the big play to Chase. This is a problem. You think about that playoff picture. When we look at that playoff picture, you think about some of those teams and that offense and what they can do if they want to go far. They are going to have to figure this defense out.

Now. I know they are solid up front the back end.

When you've got the Steelers, when you've got the Bills, when you've got the Chiefs, this isn't going to get you very far or I think what we're looking at is potentially a team that we're all going to get excited about to go down far during the season, and by the time they get to the playoffs, you can be like, yeah, we kind of figured that, Yeah, we kind of figured that. It is a massive liability.

I don't know if they have a massive defensive problem. They have a massive Bengals problem.

For sure.

They can't stop Chase, they can't stop Burrow. They've been awful, not only in these two games this year, historically they have a really tough time against them. The good news for the Ravens, you're not gonna play the Bengals again. I don't think the Bengals are making the playoffs, but we just showed it.

Right now.

If the playoffs start today, the Denver Broncos are in. The Denver Broncos scored ten points against the Ravens defense.

Last week, the Buffalo Bills are in.

The Buffalo Bills scored ten points against the Ravens defense. All right, I think the Kyle hamilt An injury is rough. He's maybe their best player, he's certainly their most versatile player. I don't think this defense is as bad as we're led to believe. I think they've had two horrible games against Cincinnati specifically, and that scus a lot of the statistics.

But I also will.

Come back to this on this show, on any show on any network, we've done a thousand segments about who is the best shot to beat the Chiefs, who could beat the Chiefs, and inevitably every single answer, or at least most of them are the Ravens. So do you really believe that, because if you do, then you can't show up and say yeah, but their defense is a huge problem.

So which is it?

Because I don't think their defense is as bad as we're led to believe. They were terrible last night, but they had issues and again a Cincinnati thing.

I just don't know if that's the thing.

If they're really the team, If you believe their defense is that week and that vulnerable and has no shot at stopping Mahomes, well then they don't have the best shot of beating him in the playoffs either. I just think we're trying to figure out this Ravens team. Is this the one to really end the dynasty? Or is Mahomes just going to go right through them in the playoffs, like because their defense isn't there.

I don't believe the latter.

Well, I'll just let me just say this, Kyle, because when I look at that, like the past defense, I mean, they're getting a ton of yards pass defense, Like if you can't stop the pass, especially as teams are going further down, like when it starts to get really serious and your team's given up, Like that is a source, but it needs to be addressed. It is to me a very big problem when I think about the chances of them facing the Kansas City Chiefs, who can score, especially as they get healthier as the season gets going.

You think about the Pittsburgh Steelers, there's an opportunity.

There as well, Like if they meet up, like we're talking about trying to get to the super Bowl, we're talking about a very talented offensive team that is very very good, and what they're going to do, because that's what the conversation is about, Like what happens when they get to the playoffs.

They got it.

They've got to address that issue like immediately. Yeah.

Look, and it's not just a Bengals issue, Kyle. I mean they've been they've been getting they've been getting tagged by a couple of the Browns tag Jamis Tom up the Raiders Gardner minsh, you tore them up. I mean I've covered a couple of their games. They will tell you in Baltimore. In that organization, they've got to fix some things. It's not all on the back end. It's marrying everything together again. They said they know what's going wrong. It's mainly communication issues. But they've just got to tighten it up.

Again.

We're talking about being critical, we're nitpicking here, but this is something we're talking about a potential super Bowl team that's got to be better.

Again.

You get to December, that's when defense to start to tighten up. They've got time to fix it. They've got the talent to fix it. They've just got to fix it.

Yeah.

See to your point, Marlin Humphrey after the game, who was your game changing moment? He even said, we've really lost that standard when it came to the pass defense.

Prisoner of the moment.

Yes, this seems like panic button, But Kylie think you do bring up a good point. I'm trying to figure out who this Ravens team is. They've lost to some not so great teams. They've blown fourth quarter leads, but then we've seen them come back from two touchdowns. So we need to figure out who this Ravens team as we look ahead to the playoffs. Now, let's bring in our NFL Network insider Ian Rappaport, getting us caught up on some injuries as we look ahead to the rest of Week ten.

Good morning, Ian.

Newly acquired Marshawn Lattimore for Commanders did not practice this week. What is his status as they go up against the Steelers this weekend?

Yeah, I would say Marshawn latimer status is very firmly up in the air. He came into the Commanders organization having missed two games with a hamstring injury, and actually hamstring injuries plagued him for some time in New Orleans, missed quite a few games. When he was on the field, was for sure one of the best in the NFL. So when the Commander swung this big trade with the Saints to bring in Latimore, they knew that his health was not one hundred percent. Yes, he passed the physical, they were always going to pass him on the physical, but they knew it might take him a little bit to.

Get on the field.

The fact that he is not practiced yet for his new team not a good sign for Sunday against the Steelers. But the thing here, guys is they have a short week next week. They played the Eagles on Thursday night, So if he misses entirely this week, there's a chance he doesn't play next week as well.

Obviously they won him for the long run.

But two games for a player you just traded for would not be the ideal situation. Meanwhile, Brian Robinson Junior, they're starting running back and battling a hamstring injury. Remember last week, everybody kind of thought he was going to play. Dan Quinn actually told Mike Garafolo, our colleague, that he was going to play before the game. Hamstring just was not quite good enough. Back at practice this week limited, I would say a little more optimistic there. And then the big one something KYLEO has been asking about for oh, I don't know, two months or so, that guy Christian McCaffrey is expected to be back for sure.

We think no one's going to say one hundred percent until he gets.

Out on the field when the game actually starts.

But this is the plan.

Kyle Shannan saying on CANBR radio yesterday that he's had a good two weeks does sound like in fact he has.

He expects him out there.

This is all good news, but no one's going to start celebrating yet until he's like, you know, actually.

On, actually in uniform taking a hand off. We'll see it when we believe it. With Christian McCaffrey. Thank you so much, Jamie, appreciate it. Now coming up here, NFL Network Fantasy expert at a rank joining the show to help you set the rest of your week ten lineup. Colin, you said you had Chase and you're already winning the weekend.

I've got Chase. Who wants to touch me?

I have Jamar Chase in fantasy. He's scoring fifty four points last night.

Smoke them if you got them.

Plus who's going to be the surprise team this weekend, who's going to be a running back that breaks out? And which NFL team we have the best NBA starting five. It's all the important questions we put hats on from new era.

It's no cap right after this big weekend.

Coming up, Good Morning Football, Welcome back.

We are playing one of our favorite games of the week. It is called no cap. You see all of our hats here on the table. Kyle also has them in New York City.

I'm gonna ask you a question.

I want you to grab the hat or you might need to ask a friend here, Guys to reach the cap for the team that you think.

Is the best answer. Let's it go in no cap.

I want you to grab the cap of the running back you think Steve is going to have a big Week ten performance?

Are sure?

I had to take your left hand or right behind your Microsoft surface, right by that silver cup.

Give me that.

Vikings cat Vikings yep hereo.

Okay, so here's my cat. Okay, yeah, all right.

Aaron Jones against the Jacksonville Jaguars is get The Jaguars give up the fourth most receiving yards to running backs.

You know Aaron Jones can do it on the ground. We know he's a great receiver.

I think he's going to get a great mix this week against the Jaguars and explosive place to running backs.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are eighth worst.

Aaron Jones can hit the explosive play because he's got JJ He's got Jordan Addison out there. Why if you don't think JJ's trying to go off. I have to see what Jamar just did. He's gonna be like Aaron Jones. I want to get some of those touches, but it's going to be Aaron Jones this week.

No cat, all right?

I like that?

All right?

Yeah?

Where are you going?

Okay?

I'm going to go to the NFC West now, I said bye right over here?

Okay, give me the Cardinals. Give me the Cardinals.

Oh ah, yeah, okay.

I know this is probably somewhere where you wanted to go, Kyle, but no cap, I'm gonna go with my man, James Connor. He's going up against a team that is giving up one hundred and thirty plus yards per game. It's, you know, the New York Jets. James Connor quietly is not getting the same type of love that some of these other running backs are getting, and he has been a big, big reason why they've had a lot of success in the NFC West. I'm going James Connor big game against the New York Jets, and you know what, he'll probably have the game winning run and touchdown.

So here we go. All got shot, all right? I hope?

So James Connor a little bit of a finger injury, but he eats finger injuries for breakfast and it's nothing gonna slow him down. Guys, running back, There hasn't been much publicity on this one. I don't know if there's any videotape or anything, but I'm gonna go with the Philadelphia Eagles running back. I don't know if you're familiar with so High Barney. He's going against the Dallas Cowboys, and appropriately, I'm gonna put this on not like this, but I'm gonna turn it around and do it backwards. It's gonna jump right over my head.

I want to know.

Let's go, Let's keep this party going. Why the hell not, We've already destroyed the Giants. Now go into Jerry World late afternoon kickoff CBS. This will be a big crew, This will be very high profile.

Dallas is down. And this is as I always.

Say, when Oh, Nick Sirianni's personality comes back to help you, because who knows if he mounts to maybe do something personal, if he wants to run up the score, if he wants to send a message. Nobody in Philadelphia likes beating Dallas more than Nick Sirianni. And now Saquon will be doing I'm looking at twenty six right now for the Eagles. I threw the hat over my head, but next time I'll do it.

Well done.

I'll support you because I'm co signing the Eagles as well.

Saquon's just gonna have a day. They've already won four straight.

And as you mentioned it, I mean Philadelphia is they're the second rushing offense in the league this season, while the Cowboys the NFL's thirtieth ranked run defense.

I don't know what el Saquon can do.

You mentioned it, maybe like a spin move backflip. I don't know how athletic sa it really is. Challenges yours, my friend. Let's see what you got.

All right, moving on to the next one.

Guys, I want you to grab the cap of the team who you think is going to surprise you this weekend. So we got these awesome salute to service new era caps.

Steve, who do you want first? Who's gonna surprise you?

All right? Kyle, look away, look away, Kyle?

All right?

Go on? Is that the Patriots? It is the Patriots?

Yeah, yeah, the England Patriots. We're gonna go into Chicago. I'm telling you Drake May is real. Now we know that the Patriots offensive line isn't great. We know that the Bears can get after the quarterback. That's where Roman Joe Stevens is gonna come in instead of the play action, which is something's telling me, not because the Bears are swooning, but the New England Patriots, you're gonna start to tighten it up.

Patriots, Am I surprised to you? All right? How do I battle that? I don't know. I just I'll just put this one.

Actually, you know what, Steve, independent of your answer, as soon as Sherry said the question, I said, the Bears.

I think the Bears are going to surprise people.

There's the feeling out there of the Bears right now is that they're zero to eight and they're just completely horrible. They're a five hundred team with a rookie quarterback.

All right. They are also excellent, excellent at home. Now they are.

Woefully terrible away from Soldier Field, but they almost never lose at Soldier Field, including this year, They've been incredible. I don't think the Patriots are terribly talented. They're scrappy, they're feisty, that's fine, But I also think there's an opportunity here for the Bears to say, everybody, just chill the bleep out, Let's get DJ the ball. Let's hope he doesn't walk off the field in the middle of a play. Let's get a win, and then we can prepare to lose to the Packers next week. But I think it's a get right game for the Bears.

I really do.

This is a hard one for me. I'm not quite sure where to go because you know, there's so many good games, and I think there are a lot of people who expected to win are gonna win, but one that is a little sneaky, a little sneaky play. Let me go to the AFC self. Where's my AFC selth it's some AFC. Maybe the Colts right here? The Colts, Okay, Joe Flack on the coats. They didn't look so good last game. What if they just came back with the Joe Burrow eyes. You saw the eyes that he had even though they didn't win, but the eyes and the intensity. What if they go out there and they upset the Bills and they come out there and say, you know what, We're going to run the ball. We're gonna get Flacco's opportunities, and we're going to take advantage of a team that could come in there maybe a little high on their horse, thinking that they've got four wins and they're all good, and we go out there and we give it to them. I'm gonna go Colts upsetting the Bills. Joe Black, Joe Flack on the run game. Of course, I think they're going to do that.

So here we go, Joe Flacca, the agents wonder.

I'm going to give a little love to Munich. I think Carolina Panthers, the giant like that. Yeah, you know, I just don't know if they have it still. There's a lot of questions and Kyli, I think you mentioned it. What a great comeback story this could be for quarterbacks, Christy and thank you just my brain there. He got to kneel down on a win, first time for him. Let's see them keep rolling. I think this can be their chance going the Panthers. All right, third one here. Lions quarterback Jared Goff was asked this week what NBA point guard he comparis himself to. Let's listen, Jared, yourself as the point guard of this offense, and if you were an NBA point guard.

You think you would be?

Oh good question, just because I'm a fan of his Curry and I grew up in the Bay and he's the best.

I love three not as good as his?

Same, No one's is as good as his. Jared, don't feel bad.

Let's grab the cap of the team whose skill players could make a good starting five. Indianaba took a lot of thought to bring this all together.

But akbar, who are you going with?

All right, I'm gonna go with We talked.

We just talked about that.

I'm gonna go with the Philadelphia Eagles. I've got Jalen Hurts, I've got Sakuon Barkley. There it is right there. Sakwon Barkley showed me something in that last game where he jumped backwards, and he kind of reminds me of an old school basketball player.

Kind of looks like him.

If you put the pictures up side by side, we don't have it but muggsy bowls. But you remember you also have Boosty too. If you look at them, they kind of have the similarities. But I'm gonna say I've got a slam dunker in Saquon Barkley. I've got a dude who can distribute the ball like Jalen Hurts. I got aj Brown out there on the perimeter. I'm going Philadelphia Eagles. I'll take their skill position players and I'll put them up against any guys not in the NBA, in the NFL.

You talk about putt them up against the Big three.

Yeah, you gotta get find out Dallas.

Got it too, my big man. I gotta give love to the Yeah, Okay, what do you go? Let me, let me, let me go over here. I'm sorry, I'm having with the camera. Let's go over here.

Yep, come on over.

My kids are gonna love this. Okay.

To play basketball, you gotta have height and you gotta have vertical right yep?

Yeah, what teams?

Team? What team slogan is about vertical? Rise up? The Atlanta Falcons.

All right.

We got Kyle Pitts tight end six to six doing his thing. Drake London, a former hooper six to five, right, So I got my height right here. I got Darnel Mooney is my distributing point guard. He's somebody who can slither and get open in the zone, especial if you try to zone him up.

My shooting guard. Who else Kirk o change. He's doing his thing right there. Skilled players play defense too.

I have Jesse Bates coming in as my swingman, my defensive stopper. The Atlanta Falcons rise up.

Yeah, all right, Kyle Steve.

I think that I see Kirk Cousins is kind of like a Jeff Hornisex type. I like it, like the aesthetics there, the game everything.

I'm going to stay on that same note.

Guys, this is not a hat that has been put on many times in this segment Ets, I spelled.

The word j Ets, Jets, Jets yet. Yeah.

I like when you go to the rec center, as I've done many times, or the YMCA and there is the old ass point guard, but the knee braces and the respecs and the elbow braces and that's Rogers.

At this point, I have Rogers is running the point.

You got Davonte his number two, Quinn is on the low block. Sauce has crazy length.

All that. I love what the Jets are going.

They're not terribly good at football right now, so I would think maybe they even better at basketball at Arizona this this week. So tiny little point guard for the other team, which are going to be a problem. But I like the Jets hoops team, and Rogers has always been a proponent of the mid rage jump shot.

I'll rip Hamilton, so I respect that. Okay, hold on, I got to poke a hole real quick. Hold on, you said Quinn is in there. Quinn's on the low block.

Yeah, he's on.

The low blocks.

Skill position guy, now.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. He's not a skill position guy. We got to take a skill position read. We have an ineligible guy in there. Now you need to give me somebody else.

Yeah.

The important part of this topic of bar is definitely splitting hairs about skilled players business defensive players. So I'm glad we established that. Yes, you're right, I'll put Tyler Conklin now is.

On the low block. It changes everything.

I don't be a lot of time I was gonna go with Ravens. I mean I had a whole spiel him about Derrick Henry, Mark Andrews hard and the paint. We saw Lamar Jackson last night though, just money shot. I think Kirk kurksre even called it in the broadcast. So go on, Baltimore, there that is no cap for you.

Welcome back to Good Morning Football.

I omar Res and the red hot Lions looking to extend their winning streak to seven games when they take on the Texans on Sunday Night Football. Detroit hasn't won seven consecutive games in a single season since nineteen ninety five, and Dan Campbell has been pulling out all the stops this season, along with offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, keeping teams on their toes with a variety of trick plays. Texans head coach Demiko Ryans knows they have to be ready for some trickery at any point in the game.

Yeah, we understand they're aggressive when it comes to fourth Now when it comes to their punt team, you know, fakes like they faked. They have trick plays offensive league defense, I mean offensively and on special teams, they have trick plays. So does that for us. It's just about playing with clean eyes right, being in the right spot, and just playing with just great awareness right whenever it's a fourth down, because they will try to take advantage and control the game by winning those fourth down moments. We just have to be on the details when it comes to that. But they are a very aggressive team, I think probably the most aggressive team on fourth down since Campbell has taken over. So it's something that we are aware of and this.

Is super cool.

Last night, the Arizona Cardinals girls flag football Game of the Week went down between powerhouses Campo Verdi and Kenyon View High Schools, a rematch of last year's five A state championship game. As Kenyon Views Mackenzie Pope had three touchdowns in the jaguars twenty eight seventeen win.

How about those Jaguars Back to the.

Lions now, Our NFL Generation Series is about bridging the gap between the pass and present. The Lions are seeing that firsthand. With Whiteout Aminos Saint Brown and a Hall of Famer Calvin Johnson, the two breakdown their favorite plays and talk about what the fans in Detroit mean to the organization.

Back of Trock.

You are crazy, Calvin Johnson is just that much the best, the best wide receiver in football right now.

You made a lot of play, yeah, man, plays that I remember watching on TV. I remember clearly going against the Bengals at.

Target, just stopping around. I'm looking Sports tent or Top ten.

I see you going up over like.

Three dudes catching it. What was your favorite player career?

It's between the one you just mentioned, but also in Dallas.

I was just in the mold.

I was I was just feeling it that game and Matthew do it up to me on like two dudes, and you know it started to come back.

That's the game you had with three hundred yards.

No, that was the one in Dallas. That was the one in Dallas. I see i't even mentioned that one. Yeah, yards is crazy.

One of those final numbers on Calvin fourteen catchers, three hundred and twenty nine yards and a touchdown.

Just so last year, this is crazy.

Jared takes turns, fakes the gift, steps in the pocket, Jared Drift's left.

Look look now he throws downfield.

It is caught left sideline cut back.

That is I'm and Ross Day Brown and click at the twenty five to the twenty to.

The fifteen cut back at the ten common rob the five fighting at the.

Two tenzo touchdown.

We already clinched the vision. Last game of the season, they get into like this cover too.

They basically dropped.

I don't know what they were doing.

I put my hand up.

Jaredies me and this play right here basically got me to like fifteen hundred yards this here, so go back.

What kind of covers was that coming?

Three two to our side?

But the safety was messing around early on the snap. Safety should have gotten wider, but the quick snap kind of messed them up.

They weren't after to catch though the jamier and everyone's helping me get in.

Yeah, I had to get in.

I was running across the field like I.

Don't get into that.

In our room now they say, if you get talking about the ones a five dollars, it should be, it should be.

Sometimes you can't really control them.

I mean, yeah, some places you watch the tape like there's nothing you could have done to get in there.

There are those times you get smashed maybe on the one right, But that's that's why. That's what I love about it. Man, You got knows what the end zole make big plays. It should hurt something and nothing or nothing into something.

To watch the entire piece and other NFL Generations episodes, head over to YouTube dot com, and when we come back, Fantasy Guru Adam Rank joins us with all the tips you need to make Week ten a success.

Good morning football, We got football in Europe this weekend, guys. I mean you get to get up extra early on Sunday and watch a game and extend your football watching day, and you can watch the NFL Network, specifically the New York Football Giants versus the Carolina Panthers, our media giant.

Right here is there she is with a mic on a stick in Germany. Jamie Ardaal, how are we doing?

We're doing great, Kyle Brandt.

We just had a joyous, a joyfull rendition of Sweet Caroline being played at the Panthers fan fest. Behind me, there was some you know, it was like karaoke. They had to put the words up here just in case someone didn't know the lyrics. But you know something that's not joyful or joyous, Kyle Brampt. The fact that I brought the scepter to Germany.

It made the angry one.

Oh, I have tied.

I tied a German flag to it. I hope you're okay with that.

Wow.

Made it through TSA and tomorrow. Since I have been assigned the giant sideline on NFL network, I will be tempting to as long as security does not stop me hand deliver the scepter.

And I'm going to have the little light on when I do it to Daniel.

Jones in person. Kyle, has this ever been done before?

It's never been done before, and if it has, it certainly was on American soil. But Jamie, I listen, thank you so much for doing this and you're the best.

It's a tough assignment. I'll tell you why, because.

There are certain guys who are very aware of Angry Runs and I can tell you the names. Raheem Moster has the mounted on his wall at home, and Derrick Henry has about seven of them, and they know when you come up to them with the scepter, like, oh wow.

Another scepter.

I guarantee Daniel Jones does not know squat about Angry Runs or anything.

I don't think.

He's a guy terribly plugged into the Internet. So what kind of challenge does that present to you as the bearer of the scepter.

It's a fine balance between professionalism because I will be assigned to the giant sideline on Sunday, and also trying to explain just what the entire segment entails. I have to imagine someone in the locker room, and perhaps a Brian Dabele could enlighten him, because you know, Dave's I feel like he would be interested in some angry runs, so I am going to have to explain it. I'm going to try to get a picture. However, Kyle, I do think we should rely on FedEx. I'm not sure this bad boy is gonna survive the trip home with Daniel Jones. So how about I just show it to him, present it to him. But can you send him a fresh one because one of the talents may have broken off in transit.

That's fine, I'll send him a fresh one as long as you get a nice crispy fo toograph, Jamie. If you want to do video two just to capture the awkwardness, I'm sure we'll ensue.

Well, you know, we'll run it next week. I want to thank you so much for doing that.

We're really truly breaking borders with football and with angry runs.

I cannot wait.

Look at you raising a frosty one on the job, Jamie.

Or I'll give zero blitch and I love getrispy photo and I cite that fresh and chrispy beer.

Yeah awesome, take it down or no dunk God either, same, see you later.

There you go.

That's ah man.

I want to know what tsa thought when they were scanning her luggage with that, all right, fantasy football playoffs will be here before you know. It's time to get your playoff roster in order for that final push for the postseason. So joining us here our fantasy expert Adam Rank.

I do want to start, though, with what Thursday?

Yeah, let's start with Thursday.

Because some takes from last night, sal I want to.

I want to I'll get to Jamar Chase and Joe Burrow and how I have him on a fantasy team. The big thing is like what I deal with on a day to day basis. Because yesterday, as I was trying to get ready for the NFL Fantasy Life, our showrunner Bill stops me.

He's like, hey, should I start Keaton Mitchell.

I feel like most of my job is trying to talk people out of bad decisions.

And I'm like, Bill, whatever you No?

He just got off the No.

Please No, He's like, but I got Bucky, Bucky Irving's a good player.

Why are we doing that?

This is what I deal with.

It's like children sometimes and I'm like no, And I had to do that. But I didn't, thankfully have to convince anybody to start Jamar Chase on Thursday night, and what we saw was one of the most incredible performances.

In all of football this season.

And one of the great things too, is like last week, Joe Burrow throws five touchdown passes Nario, one of them goes to Jamar Chase. Was I upset about this? Yes, I broke. I had a winning streak that was broke. But I did manage to take a one hundred point lead in one of my leagues. Because I have a stack, I feel like I'm gonna lose. Wow, I'm already nervous.

Ill Wow.

Well, hopefully the person you're playing against the nev Keaton Mitchell in his lineup. But listen the Panthers and Giants rank they're playing Sunday morning. It's very fun to have someone go in that super early game. Do you like anybody in these matchups?

Talk to us?

I love the early guy. I love the East Coasters complaining about this. You know, Steve Whitch and I have to get up every weekend to watch Arsenal, to go out there and watch us. Got a bogus red card for whatever reason.

Oh that's really good.

Oh Liverpool gets that.

We got a red card.

Oh that's amazing. Nobody else gets called for that.

But I do like Daniel Jones, who was the recipient or will be the recipient of the scepter for what he did against the Commanders last week. Going into that game, I actually had Daniel Jones, and I know that the Commander fans who are not thrilled with me, like.

This is such a stupid pick. Why would you?

I don't know. He's a good fantasy quarterback. He's at least fifteen fantasy points in.

Four of nine games this season, three touchdowns in Week nine. The line of Panthers have allowed the fourth most fantasy points per game the quarterbacks this season. I also have some thoughts on the quarterback on the other side of the football.

Now you're gonna have to tune into the insiders. I can't give it all the way here.

I told Jeff Collett, I said, you know what, I'll save some stuff for your show.

Okay, what about the forty nine ers because I know they're coming off of a bye. Christian McCaffrey, he's expected to be back in return in this game. Any recommendation for the forty nine ers and for forty nine er fans and people who might have Christian McCaffrey.

First of all, play Christian McCaffrey. Yes, that one's different. Keaton Mitchell is one thing. Christian McCaffrey is certainly another. And I know a lot of people over the last couple of weeks when Poka Nakua came back. I remember on the Thursday night game, I'm like, you know, I'm starting them, like I'm just gonna do it, and people are like, oh, you're crazy. He went out there and had a good game. Another guy who might see him a little whild to start Juwan Jennings, but I love him in this matchup this week. I know we're going to try to figure out which one of the forty nine.

Ers receivers is the guy who pops.

But Juwan Jennings has six ends of targets this season, he leads all forty nine ers receivers in receiving touchdowns. And what we really love is the matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have allowed the six most Fantasy points to wide receivers over the year. I also like Rock Purty a lot.

In this game.

We saw last week who was the game manager that the Buccaneers were playing against the other night. Yeah fifth was it that guy who's been just mid this now, but like Patrick Mahons like obviously had not been the fantasy stalwart we had seen over the last number of years.

Played very well. I expect Rock Purty, Juwan.

Jennings and of course we're starting Christian mccaffers are look.

Gon have two rookies going up against each other this weekend, Caleb Williams, Drake May But you think it could be a ground game. But I see you sitting here in your wonderfulst Chicago Busers.

Don't think it goes enough.

I was sitting over there when Steve got a little wind in his jaw talking about the Patriots. Yeah, upsetting, like and Kyle's right, the Bears have a home winning streak right now, Like that's the one thing. And even I know the I know the game against Jacksonville sort accounts as a home game for them. But at the same time, the Bears are like Cumberland State on the road. But they are you would get that, hey, they are the monsters of the Midway at home. And one of the reasons why is they got back to the running game and That's why I love DeAndre Swift in this contest. Last week, it didn't quite materialize against the Arizona Cardinals, which was a bit of a shock, but he has been fantastic this season. He is one of just five players with over five hundred rushing yards this season two hundred receiving yards. He's been a top twelve running back in four of the last five games the era.

The New England Patriots have allowed the.

Six most fantasy points of running backs this season, and one of the things that Caleb Williams talked about this week that's going to help him is making some of those easy throws. I think one of the things that we've seen out of him, he's trying to make hero play.

Yes, way too much. Was was a concern coming out of USC like, hey.

Caleb, you know what, you can check it down once in a while. When he checks it down to DeAndre Swift, he's way more effective. And I expect to see that a lot this week against the Patriots.

On the issue of check downs, let's go to New Orleans.

They've got a new head coach and their quarterback just got lit up on social media by a former teammate. But you know they can have an emotional spike. Do you see one of their playmakers that people should play this week?

Taysom Hill.

I don't know why I don't feel great about this, but I do like when I'm sitting there looking for a tight end, there's a number of tight ends who are on a buy this week, guys like Jake Ferguson, and not Jake Ferguson, but there's a number of guys on.

I think Cooper Rushia started, but.

I, by the way, starts Ced eleven. But I do like Taysom Hill. I think there's gonna be an opportunity for him. We've seen him be productive over the last couple of weeks. He has been you know, he's.

A favorite of Derek Carr and everything like that.

And even though Bruce Allen is gone, Bruce Allen, Dennis whatever.

Here's the pis right.

I almost to Bruce Allen's gone, bring rid of him. He's the one who drafted off BA right. Yes, yeah, that's what I meant. No, I just made a mistake. Those are the guys out of look at the others.

Brot perty I I thought I had him somewhere.

I'm like, wait a minute.

We previous fantasy managers out there, screenshot it put them in your lineup.

We thank you. We're going to wrap up here now.

I'm not going to be back because I made fun of Bill
