Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.

Good Morning Football.

That's right, it's Good Morning Football. We are presented as always by my friends at Old Trapper Beef Jerky. We are live here in Los Angeles.

My name is Jamie.

Heard all that is akbar Baji, Ban Miller, Peter Schreger across the table from me, and Kyle Brant looks like he got shot out.

Of a cannon? Is it because that game was also good last night?

Great game?

A lot of shoe size talk this morning. I'm Kyle Brant, I'm a size twelve.

Peter, what do you got?

I'm Peter Schregar, I two m assize twelve.

Ackbar, I'm mock bar Bosja, Bill Miller, and I wear a size fifteen.

Oh my gosh, after three kids, I'm a nine and a half.

Because apparently your foot swells on it es.

Yeah.

Well, I think I was going to figure prominently in the ending of that game. There's a Ravens tight end who has very very large feet, and I think was to their detriments.

What a game, an incredible game. It was inches inches inches. We have to talk about every piece of it. Take us through every little bit by bit.

Let's go to Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs won the Super Bowl as usual. Let's get into the optics. How about Robie Wriggle banging the drum Peter you like it?

Love Wriggle, Great dude, Kansas City native, Kansas alum.

Go Jayhawks. All right, Taylor was there, Travis was there.

It's like we got the whole band back together and the Ravens are there at this time in Arrowhead.

This is going to be the last play of the game. Third and goal.

You gotta throw at the end zone, Isaac Likely wat's the official Tod touch down to Riko.

Goes some nuts.

The Ravens celebrate and watch Jean Harvall on the sidelines, the best shot of the night. Two.

We're gonna go for the wins.

We go for two.

John's stealing this thing. Hold on a second, look at his toe. Guys, that's it. That's how a bounce. That's not a touchdown in the NFL. It's over. It's a walk off review, no touchdown.

Likely can't believe it, Lamar can't believe it. The Chiefs survive. At the bunch, We'll get my homes looks that you want another ring great night at Arrowhead. I don't know if I've ever seen a better kickoff game than that. Twenty seven to twenty is certainly not a more dramatic finish, unbelievable.

Let's get right to this sound.

We got to hear Lamar Jackson, the final sequence, the final play, Lamar talk us through it.

I don't thought it was a touchdown.

I thought it was a touchdown. I still think it's a touchdown.

Definitely nerve wracking. I mean just I mean, could it look good from my angle on the sideline, But then the first view you saw you could see the cleat. So that's a great football team, and I'm sure we'll see him again at some point in the playoffs. So now we're happy with the win now, and you gotta wear white cleats next time. That's my that's my advice for him.

I mean, what would you take away from a competitive game like that against these team?

I say, this is probably the worst game we're gonna play all year.

So if this is the best that they got, I mean, good luck in the postseason.

That's a good stand. This game was like a delicious pie. We have to keep this slice by slices, we review it. Peter just that toe on the line where the Blake cweeds lined from Patrick Mahomes and likely saying good luck.

Yeah, and there's like I want more.

And that's why I feel like we're almost robbed, because when Harbor's gone like this, like okay, here we got I want that play, if you want that play, and then it's the fate of a not even an inch, Jamie, a centimeter, a millimeter.

It's that close.

And it's like we always talk about the script writers in the NFL. You could not script a more dramatic finish. And then a little taste at the end there likely the sound by Year heard. I think there's a lot to be said for that break it down. He said, we played, we played poorly. Da If that's the best they got, we'll see them in the postseason. So that might be chapter one. But what a game and what a way to kick off, and gosh to end it on that and the emotions and hardball.

Saying it's like what could have been. I must feel like we were robbed because it was so darn good and whether they got it or not, we like to see that too.

Well for me on that one, I mean it was lost to me. This is a non football point, but a football point. I'm a huge football fan. Obviously, Deon Sanders Shoes just got major PUBB that one won.

He was wearing the diamond turf one. That one.

I just kept looking him like, man, it took me back to nineteen ninety six. But these guys went toe to toe, I mean in this matchup. But that one right there, this game was I mean, he had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. But Likely just kept getting open and open throughout the.

Whole entire game.

And for Lamar to find him like that and that back end zone that was a very difficult throw.

Of course, it's so good.

It looks like you missed the easier one and made the hard one. You know what's nuts is that we can talk about this Ravens Chiefs Week one whatever. It's very possible that Isaiah Likely's toe will determine home field.

In the AFC playoffs. Like that's that big.

Not only because the Ravens lose maybe it's the Chiefs and the Jets or the Chiefs and whoever, but the fact that they won that one because his toe is on the line might mean that Mahomes has to leave Arrowhead in January.

It's it's massive. That was incredible.

I'm gonna got Unlike last year when the Lions beat the Chiefs at home and that, to your point, had no wrongdoing on January. This has massive implications and hope the next two hundred and seventy one looked like this, Peter.

For the regular season for the NFL.

Sometimes the best defense, though, is keeping Patrick Mahomes off the field.

Yeah, Mahomes was great, But to me, I look at that Chiefs front office. I'm starting the show off the first thing and saying like, how as a league, when there's thirty one other teams, how do we let them get toys like this?

Yeah, Peter, this is It's the classic Jesse Pinkman. They can't keep getting away with that. Saf You're worthy was a blur.

How do you let Mahomes get him first touch after a summer We're hearing.

They've got all these bells and whistles Kyle on the show.

That I say is like, what if they just do a reverse plate worthy to start to get They did, and then Humphrey, we could say the talented corner. He's also a veteran corner. How do we letting this happen. There's a first year defensive coordinator and Zach Orr.

That was a major lapse.

Worthy was so good last night it felt like Tyreek was on the field. And this is without Hollywood Brown. Hollywood Brown is one of the fastest players in the league. He's coming. So you're gonna have those two guys on the outside where she writes as a talented wide receiver. You still have Travis Kelcey and Noah Gray. And I want to shout out one more player. I want to shout out Kingsley Sua Mattia, who was starting at left tackle for a defending champion as a second round pick rookie and held his own against one of the best defensive lines in all of football. The Chiefs continue to draft players, lose players to free agency, and then just reload to watch Worthy and to watch Kingsley Sua Mattia last night start and play huge roles in this game and to not miss a beat.

I'm telling you this, Chiefs. This Chiefs team is.

Not going to go anywhere they draft and they just restock the cupboard every single draft, and it looks like those guys are two instant starters and we have more guys coming.

Yeah, you're so right.

I mean, especially you saw how fast the speed and the respect Xavier Worthy just running those guys off for she Rice just kept hitting them in the middle of the field. I mean, it was just so wide open. But on the other side too, you talk about, you know, stacking it up, but what they have in the cupboard is a staple in Chris Jones. He just continued to show up in such a big way, and it's.

Like you to look at this or this is very unique.

Right there, he's in a he's in a heavy five technique right there, just beating up on the offensive tackle and then they move him inside of the.

Tackle and a full eye he all kind.

Of swipes over. Now you have a loss of yards in the backfield. But then here he is in a heavy two alignement on top in front of the guard. He's on top of the guard and just watching wherever he lines up. He's lined up in the wide five. This is so unique because as a defensive lineman, typically you have a guy who maybe is comfortable on the left side or on the right side, but to have.

A lineman like him that can line up in all.

Of these different techniques, it makes it very very hard he can pay. At one point he was over there just going and during the game like standing up. I want him, I want him. I'm gonna beat him. That's difficult. I mean I was a guy that played out in a five technique. I felt very comfortable in the five. But to be able to move inside, I mean that is that's amazing, and that's gonna be something very hard for offenses to kind of plan a round.

He was just like calling out who he wanted.

I was like, yeah, I want you, kind of like that Michael Jackson spree, a shopping spree, like oh I look this, I want this.

Chris Jones always reminds me of Michael Jackson physically. She was like the same guy.

It was really the exagger worthy thing where they was some like nightmare fuel, you.

Know what I mean.

It was when you're saying like how did we let the Chiefs? I remember we used to say like how did we let the Patriots get Randy Moss? Like how did we let them get Antonio Brown? For five seconds? Why are they the only team doing it? And I also think the Worthy thing is fun because there's everybody is afraid of him becoming anything, even approaching Tyreek. So in the preseason when we're showing all these fun highlights, everyone's like whatever, practice practice, And then there was that clip of him getting decleted be at the line, and it was like, oh, just press cover him in the game. It's fine, you'll take him out of it. So why didn't they just do that last night? Even last night, if you're tweeting about Worthy and he's scoring his second touchdown, there's people being like blown.

Assignment on the Ravens had nothing to do with him.

All right, fine, but just we're now into the real games in primetime and the rookie he ran the fastest forty ever where they got a trade from from the Bills, has two touchdowns in one game on pace.

Guys, this is on pace.

For thirty four touchdowns and incredible highlights. So I could if you were a fan of insert AFC team here, he's like, what is this guy doing out there with Mahomes and Colson?

They got him and he looks really good, So sorry about that. You should have got him Peter.

Quickly, Zacho or the thirty two year old defensive coordinator for the Ravens. You mentioned the defensive line for the Ravens, but as a whole, pretty good start for a guy that's running a defense for the first time against.

Twenty seven points.

They had a lot of lapses the thing now, I think that was the case with Mike McDonald last year too, where they started off a little bit like you.

Got rid of Wink.

I think overall, yes, they were in the game at the end, but that laughs with Muth and Humphrey, that is a It is a devastating play from a veteran corner and a big spot.

All Right, the.

Games are here, the schedule is released, and we are in the midst of playing them.

It just makes angry runs feel that much more.

Yeah, we're gonna look into some guys today. I think you're gonna win some scepters this year. Some of the goats, some of the front runners.

A couple of the guys are a little bit underneath the radar. Some dudes that I, oh my gosh, anger runs is common watch out.

Plus, we shaw some scenics. That's what we call it in the scenics, not just video. It's a scenic of South Palo, Brazil.

There's a game in Brazil tonight, Packers Eagles. I believe we have the Commissioner of the National Football League.

Jointing it's coming in.

Good morning.

Welcome back to gmf B.

Now, as we saw earlier, the Chiefs pulling out the thrilling Week one win over the Ravens Thursday night, wouldn't be surprised if we saw these two teams meet again in the playoffs. Our guy Steve White was there catching up with Chiefs defensive end Chris Jones, talking about this incredible.

Win came down to the wire. What about that finish. We knew it was gonna be tough. I want to get that team right there. They're hearing Lamar.

And they put up over one hundred and seventy or don't know as Russian the ball and tonight.

We knew it was gonna be a problem.

And the morning got lighter, so he was willing to run more around today.

But defense we was able to hold on man. Offense played really good. You gotta watch the film.

We got some errors we can that we can correct on tight end, we hope ourselves on that giving up big plays we gave him like two or three big plays song with Lamar League and tight end right there.

We gotta get him down.

I hope we get another rematch of those two teams. But looking at the Titan now wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins revealing he suffered a torn MCL about a month ago. He plans to play through the injury this season, though de hop didn't say if the injury might require surgery down the road. Remember, he led the Titans in receiving yards and touchdowns last season. And Eagles chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lowry is in Sal Paulo, Brazil, announcing he'll be supporting Brazilian based autism research with a four hundred thousand dollars pilot grant for the Eagles Autism Foundation, already saying the trip to Brazil using the trip to Brazil as an opportunity to expand the foundation's footprint globally and mary the much needed resources to individuals affected by autism around the world. Very cool there Now, The NFL Fan of the Year Contest, presented by Captain Morgan Returns, honoring the extraordinary fans who spice up football with their fandom, is at NFL dot com Slash fan of the Year. To nominate someone today, Peter, anyone you think you can maybe nominate.

Several fans of the year.

I think four of us at the table are amongst them, and you as are all share we love the game and we are so excited that the game is going to new horizons tonight. With no further ado, we want to welcome the Commissioner of the League, Roger Goodell.

So this morning, Hey you guys, so gor to have you. How are you so great? You look great? We're so fired up for tonight. But before we talk.

About tonight, what a spectacular opening game last night.

We're fresh off it. We had a whole.

Fifteen minutes to talk about it, to break it down.

Where did you watch it?

What was your reaction to an amazing NFL kickoff last evening?

Well, we had a little watch party here in Brazil, so I watched the first half there and then I went upstairs and I watched it on my laptop and I couldn't put it away. I kept saying I got to get up early. But it was a fantastic finish.

I was in toenail.

Yeah, rarely we went around the show to start the show, Roger and all established what our shoe sizes were, because everyone's talking about Isaiah Likely's shoe size.

If it was one size smaller.

The AFC might have a different home field advantage in a few months.

But listen, you were in Brazil. We're so excited that you're there.

It is the first Friday night game during opening weekend in more than fifty years, and the first ever in South America. Roger with the whole globe to look at what led US as a league to South America and specifically Brazil.

Well, I think the fan base, you know, we want to go where the fans are, where we think a game will really catapult that kind of momentum, and I think that's what will happen here. You know, the fans here are just going crazy. I think we're getting people who aren't really fans who are interested in.

Saying what's going on.

And you know, the fans here are so passionate about the game, and I think having a chance to have it in their stadium will be in the Corinthians Stadium, a very high profile, famous stadium, and I think it's going to be a much different atmosphere that you get with an NFL game. If you do with soccer, So I think the reaction is going to be extraordinary and really help us continue our efforts to make this game global.

You know, for the millions of fans who are going to be watching this game tonight on Peacock. We've seen it move from Europe to South America. Now are their plans maybe perhaps to take it on another continent, especially with the explosion of African players in the NFL. Are there any thoughts of maybe playing it on the continent of Africa.

Absolutely, you know, we're doing more and more in Africa on a development of players. Ocier Minro has done a fantastic job of that. But we're also we feel like this game is destined to be global. We expect to be in Asia soon, we expect to be in Australia. So we're going to make sure that our game is available around the globe, and I think the ownership have been great on that. You know, they've passed a resolution where every team is obligated to play. We're going to have eight games a year minimum, and if we do get to an eighteen and two games a season, we likely will see even more international games.

And I hope someday we'll be playing sixteen. Ah.

It's incredible and we love hearing that. You know how much we love football, Roger, You know how much. Also at this table we like to talk about sometimes off the wall things.

We were talking about you this morning. We're thinking you got about a ten hour flight to Brazil. We're dying to know Rogers. Yeah, well watch this film.

We want to know what does Roger Goodell do on a ten hour flight?

Are you just knocking out books? Are you in movies? What do you do?

You know?

It was funny because we had more Philadelphia Eagles fan on our flight that I can tell you.

It was incredible. They were all over the play.

As soon as the flight attendant finished with their usual speech about safety, it was fly Eagles all over the plane and everyone. And it was an overnight flight, so I was wondering how long this is going to go.

But they were wonderful.

It was really great to see that kind of passion. But I usually try to catch up on reading when I'm on a long flight like that, I would like to catch up on a little.

Sleep, and I had a little luck with that on the way down. SOD for you, It was.

Fun Roger, I got to give you your flowers here. As you just mentioned, you are a man of the people. You do take the commercial flights to these international ones. And I know this because you and I were on the same flight from Munich back to.

New York City two years ago. And you guys know what this man did.

First of all, you walk down the aisle and you're like, Wow, that is my.

Boss's boss's boss's boss. Am I supposed to be asleep?

He's not sleeping.

I gotta stay awake.

He stands with me a baggage claim and want to sho.

I did sleep almost the entire time.

This man waits for me at baggage claim and would you not know what? My bag was the last one to come around the end. And Roger, He's like, and you're good, I'm gonna go home.

That's a cool story right there. That's a cool story.

Yeah.

But I got to tell you just to make it clear, though, Jamie did not have any problem falling asleep.

I promise you.

I don't think I don't.

Think my presidence changed that at all. You were great.

That's valid.

That's valid.

Hey, So you know I want to talk to you about flag football you know, we've been talking a lot about flag football on this show and the fact that it's going to be a part of the Olympic program in LA twenty eight. How important is flag football's growth of the game around the world.

I think it's really important. One.

I love the fact that it can allow women to participate in our sport and play our sport. That's where the real growth is coming so dramatically. Is it's now a chance for them they can get in there and mix it up. And we've seen some great athletes on a global basis that love this game. I think it's just creating more and more interest. If you play the game, obviously you're more likely to be a fan, and so I I think this is going to bring generations to new fans.

I think the Olympics is.

Going to capture even more fans in that period of time because you know, that's where global sports are played, and now play football is there. So I think it's really important for us to give people a chance to play. And I'm also a big fan of kids participating in sports. I think the more kids that do that, the better off they are.

No doubt, we're all parents of young kids there's an explosion of flag football everywhere across our country, and of course it's international as well. Last night was the first time we saw in a regular season game the dynamic kickoff for rules played out. It's the latest example of how our sport continues to evolve. Well, gets excited when people ask you about the future of the NFL and the future of the way the game is played, as the dynamic kickoff is just one piece to what are so many new additions to the NFL season this year.

Well, I think the game itself, as you know, Peter, I get so much attention all the way through the season. We're making notes. We go with the Competition Committee with coaches, and we really work hard every year to look at rules that we think can make the game more exciting or are going to make the game safer, and sometimes both. I think the dynamic kickoff is one of those we wanted to bring the kickoff back. I think this play will have an impact. It's already I think the average start line is probably going to be much closer.

To the thirty yard line. I think we will see longer kickoff returns. But everyone's getting used to.

It and it's going to take an adjustment. So we're not making any judgments about this after one game or after pre season. We're going to let it play out over the season and see how it works. But I do think it will have an impact on the game, and I think we'll have to figure out next phases of that.

How do we bring the outside kick back into it.

There are a lot of.

Things that come out of this that I think we want to make sure every aspect of our game is fun, exciting, leads the greater competition, and is safer for our game, no doubt, and for our players.

No doubt.

We're in the media world here, we're at this table. We'll do it every morning, Brady and Belichick joining the ranks of the media. Any reactions and early thoughts of those two faces now as media darlings.

You know, I talked to Tom last week, I talked to Bill a few weeks ago. I think they're going to add a different perspective to the game. I mean, they're so excited about sharing what they were seeing when they were playing or they were coaching, and I think for fans to be able to get that perspective, it's going to be a joy for them.

They're both hard workers.

As you know, we can't get Bill out of the NFL film facility. He's down there, he's looking at tape.

He's there all day long.

But I think that is great for our fans to be able to see what Bill is seeing through his eyes, and that will be great.

And Tom.

You know, when Tom comes up to the line, the things he's looking at you don't hear about, and I think you're going to hear about it from Tom Brady, so we're excited about it. I think it's great development.

It really is.

Brady Colin Brown's Cowboys. This weekend, Roger, we are starting our ninth season as Good Morning Football representing this and we just want to thank you so much. We're so excited to be at this Brexit table talking football every single morning, even if we're a little crazy sometimes.

So thank you, Roger. I appreciate you well. I look forward here to every morning.

I'm sorry that the time converting out to La took a longer than it did, but we're glad you're back on and uh every morning that's where I go.

So thank you. Awesome too.

Thanks Roger, joy yourself, enjoy the game.

Thank you.

Brazil so much there we go.

Okay, guys, oh my god, coming up from Roger Goodell to a let's go it's transitional people's segments.

That was a great way to start our day here on Good Morning Football talking to the commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell, he's down in South Polo, Brazil and colin the table. We were just talking like man of the people. He flies commercial internationally. I've been on a flight with him from Munich back to Jersey and then of course now he's in South Polo.

It is great to hear from Roger Goodell.

We look forward to the game between the Packers and the Eagles tonight, the next one on my schedule, though, Ian Rappaport, when I looked at I don't know what's happening on Sunday is Steelers at Falcons?

Where do you begin with us this weekend?

Yeah, a little bit of a curve ball yesterday We've all been expecting Russell Wilson to be the starting quarterback for the Steelers on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. And you know that's what Mike Tomlin had essentially said in March. Russell Wilson at pole position that's what they announced last week, and then he reported calf tightness yesterday, practice was limited, was going to see the doctors yesterday after practice. None of this is a good sign for Russell Wilson's availability on Sunday. We'll see what his practice status is today. I'm just telling you the Steelers are unbelievably conservative when it comes to calf injuries. To not be surprised if they got Russell Wilson off his feet this weekend and potentially beyond. Obviously paving the way for Justin Fields to be the starter. Nothing firm and definditive yet, but certainly could see it going that way. Fields was really impressive in training camp, would get a big opportunity on Sunday. We are also still waiting to learn the status of Jamar Chase, the star receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, whose status we have been talking about for more than a month.

Of teams he has.

Practiced every day this week was limited just based on easinggham in yesterday, but we will see if he's able to finalize that contract that would make him among the or the highest paid receiver in the NFL. Still time to get it done before the season.

Obviously, we will see.

On that one a huge paid potentially coming for Jamar Chase and.

For the San Francisco forty nine ers.

Christian McCaffrey did practice yesterday, has been back at practice this week, was limited, but should be fine in the game. All of this is good and expected. Was not exactly expected was the team added? Now that they have to be specific on the injury report, they added Achilles to the designation along with caf letting you believe that he was dealing with either a multitude of injuries or maybe a little different injury than we all expected.

Wasn't just the cap stream.

We thought McCaffrey should be fine, but at least something to watch going forward.

Guys, rap Sheet, thank you so much. That made me feel better.

Increasingly, every story you did, the guys got healthier and a little bit more available as we look.

Ahead to Sunday. We appreciate you. Ian, talk to you a little bit.

I like contract Ian much more than Yeah, I hated that news report.

Well, that was optimist.

We grew in optimism as we met Kyle.

I gotta tell you your angry runs fans are greedy.

They want they want anger runs now. But a little teaser for us.

Listen, we have pachaco on Henry last night's that's that's your little carpaccio before the meal.

But we gotta bffet this weekend. Who are the guys who are gonna get scepters this year? I got some thoughts. Let's right after this, Let's go wardrope change time, nothing like it.

Let's go good.

We got new toys to play with my friends.

But I'm gonna say com this is not Angry Run.

I got the scepter and there's metal playing. We got all kinds of cool fonts with electricity and chrome.

This is the next Angry Runs primer.

This is just to get ready. This is get you excited. This is what's to come this season. First of all, I got the new shirt on. You know it, you love it.

Thousands of you bought one last year. This is the official Angry Run.

Shirt, except no substitutes, bots or knockoffs.

We're dressed up. It's a sloppy show. This cameras and courts. We don't care. It's a sloppy segment. I also just want to say, if you watch Angry Runs for a while, you know how that goes get down here.

I don't know how a step is gonna function in this segment? Are you telling me I'm not gonna break my neck with a step involved?

I'll try not to, but I said I can calm down.

The real deal is next Tuesday, as it always is after week one.

You know what I have today? Though, I got the guys I'm looking.

At this week, this year, this decade, the guys who I think are most likely to get one of these do we hand out each and every week to the angers runner in the NFL.

It's kind of a watch list. It's kind of a league. It's angry gentlemen. You wonder who the first guy is.

If we do any list on this show ever, any segment ever, we have to hype this guy.

Bring them up, Seattle, Seahawk, Come on.

Go Peter, my guy Walker.

We all have our guys.

This is not yet my guy. This is currently Peter's guy. Jamie's given him some.

Love, Osbar and I will come along. This guy was born and put on this planet to do things like that. Goes all the way into the end zone.

That is, he is so mean, so mad, and doesn't it just kind of feel like he's waited patiently. This is his time to not just be a part of what Seattle's doing, to be a star, right, Peter.

Yes, and looking after he scores, he's like a gymnast.

He does this amazing little athletic movie. I love that.

That's like a Van Damon kickboxer.

When he does the one of those you know they do those things.

I'm not gonna do it, so I'll break my back with there they go like hey yeah, and all the way up. I used to do it when I was like thirteen. Walker does it after he runs through like twenty Raiders. And let's not forget last year his teammate won a sceptor, Zach Sharp and out of UCLA.

Seattle's angry as hell. Here's a guy we've been rooting for who is not of a sceptor.

Do you know that is Brian Robinson from The Commanders. This guy Peter Jamie from Roll the Video Time, look at Through the Rain. This guy does this. He trucks people. He loves chucking people.

You know the.

Backstory, you know what he's been through.

Here's the thing.

Sometimes I get like, oh, do the do the players really know about the scepter?

These the NFL players.

I think they care about your little shirt, you little scepter they do on your little show?

Do they care?

Want to see an awkward exchange?

An awkward exchange?

What's Brian Robinson come on a live television segment and take the screws to me about why he doesn't have one of these and demand an explanation as I just cower and say nothing.

He'd even show me no love on it, though he's showed me no love on it.

Yes, because they play here, you ain't even I ain't even have to come in the top like top three or four.

He could have just played my video or something just like that to show him like, Hey, this is how you finished.

Runner right here? You do? I gotta get you? Is my ratio?

Like?

Is my ratio five to one? Do I gotta get? Do? I gotta run over five.

People to want to get What does.

He have to do at the standards so he knows what he has to do?

Hey, what did you tell me? You're in the same thing.

You tell him, let him.

Go, let him cook. We're in the same room right now. You can tell me. You can tell me exactly what you want, what you want to see.

Room right now, I know the expression I got time today.

You know the expression Brian Robinson Jr. Had time on that day.

He's sitting up there, not even looking down at the monitor because you're looking at us. He had clearly told and told me, Oh, you're gonna go on the Good Morning Football's Fun show. They love it This Morning Football. He's like, oh, I gotta prep for that. Because he came with.

Ratios, he came with questions. We're in the same room. Even though we warn't, it felt like we were.

You know what, I didn't come with an answer because there isn't one, at least not the one that I can say on the air. But I think this is the year, I really do. He runs really hard. You know, this commander's team is going to go through the rookie quarterback. But this guy this weekend, I think wants this thing better than anybody in the league.

I want to give it to you, Ryan.

The answer that I should have to all your questions and all your ratios should be here.

Take this.

You've earned it. That's number four. Now. Number three is the best.

Guy going right now?

I think bring up number three. This is the dude, this is the standard. It's Naji Harris. He is massive.

Look at the arms, Look at the determination. Ryan Robinson Junior doesn't have one of these. Naji Harris has five of them.

Wow. Five.

This is the first one he gave him years ago. I think he was a rookie at the time. He wins one like every seven months.

What he does.

And because he does things like this in three two, Holy crap, that's nothing for him. That's him tying his shoes. That is almost a signature move. That is his stone colt stone, goad awakening.

It's his shake rattle and row neckbreaker.

He does that getting out of bed in the morning. And you know what else he does gets nominated for Angry Runs of the Year at NFL Honors. In fact, wins every run of the years at NFL Honors.

Roll it in the Angry Run of the Year, and.

The golden scepter goes to my man.

Naji Harris.

He dead it.

It's going to Pittsburgh. Bless your baby to you, my friend. I crown this fan, give it up for Naji Harris. I love this man. I crown this man. Angry runner up the year.

Boom ah, that's so fun, all right, But you know who else was in the auditorium that night.

You know who I was sitting directly next to in the auditorium. This next guy. Bring up the next guy who was nominated for Anger Run of the Year but did not win.

Look at this, Look at that this Michelangel painting that the Arizona Cardinals did about their running back, James Connor, who did not win that night, and who was not afraid to tell me he was disappointed he did not win that night. A former Steeler, Give me some Jimmy Connor. Let's go give me James Connor. Nobody does a better job with the scepter. Oh but my good was that? And I want everybody to understand this play is a four yard lost.

I don't care.

It's not about gaining yards. It's about trucking.

Dudes. Look at Connor, don't do it.

Holdlah b, James Connor's got three scepters. This is a guy who we're seeing these highlights. He's doing that on a four and thirteen team. He doesn't care. It could be owing seventeen seventeen.

You know.

Oh no, that's Patrick Keeterson. As it would turn out, Patrick Peederson was in studio just a few days ago recalling the tale of this wonderful exchange with James Connor roling.

That'd be you talk us through the We we had a lot of fun with it, and you know, yeah we did own issue. We did. Yeah.

He threw me at the club man.

Right out the club and into the person on the sidewalk grilling a hot dog with Ristromi wrapped around.

I was disgusting.

That's where Patrick Peterson, maybe the greatest corner.

Of the twenty first century, wents.

Guys, we got one more, the number one on the watch list, the number one who I expect to win the most this year.

Do you know who that is?

Even you at home, you know you're like, who is that guy? Niagridge with decepter. It's Jalen Warren for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Oh, the hardest runner in the NFL twenty twenty three. It really wasn't close. I've already mentioned one Steeler. I've mentioned a former Steeler. This is the hardest running Steeler. Give me some videotape.

Jalen Warren is this tiny little ball of muscle, sinew and hate and he does the filthiest thing.

Oh and it's no big deal.

He doesn't celebrate. He's like, that's just me playing football. I got to talk to Jalen Warren last year. I said, man, like, have you just in trucking guys your whole life since you were a little kid.

He's like, yeah, it's weird. Like high school college I would have I would juke them, I'd run away from them.

It wasn't until I got to the pros that I started running guys over.

I said, that's not how it works.

You're not supposed to get to the NFL and start trucking guys.

It's the opposite of that.

Jalen Warren with the T shirt, with the scepter, with my number one spot and most likely to get one of these.

I'm gonna walk over a La.

Mesa to go my friends, guys, how are you you look good?

What do you think of the list? Well?

I love the list. I mean, first off, the James Connor good friend of mine.

Connor is a good friend of your. Yeah, he's a good friend of mine.

And I gotta say, like, you just brought back so much as seeing that I didn't see him rebuking folks. These people are literally rebuking demons out of them.

I mean, my goodness, I've done this segment for seven years. I never used the word renew in the segment. I gotta start. I need fresh.

It's a good one agreement, pull back flip of ak Barsan rebuke.

I say, I think I'm bring open hand slap into the game as well.

Sure, it's a lot of open.

Hand, John Studd, can I make a case for that?

Was all right? I'm glad you said this. Please, Because we're going into the first weekend.

Two of the absolute legends played last night, not to them, Derrick Henry, Isaiah Pacheco, Carson Steele, all three last and of course those guys are on my radar, but as we go on weekend one, I left those out.

He did you want to add something? I was going to say.

Josh Jacobs is going to be playing tonight, and Josh Jacobs is in a new uniform and they're playing against Josh Jacobs. I believe has not won an Angry Run, but he runs angry and we had him on the show earlier this week, giant chip on his shoulder. I'm predicting a Josh Jacob's Angry Run championship in week one.

A belt for week one and a sceptor going YouTube braz You think he could have an angry run of the year in week one and go wire to wire?

Yes, all right, you said, playing in Brazil, New Jersey, Jamie, go ahead, Hello, about five years ago we used to give away a crown, not even a sceptor. So Saquon doesn't have one, Josh Jacobs doesn't have one, Patchecko doesn't have one. Bejohn Robinson doesn't have one. Guys one a week. It's not given, it is earned.

Come get it, look, give it. Let's go make a lot here.

Go and get your shirts too, right Kylie?

Yeah?

Comments dot com except no substitute.

Hey those are your top five?

Be insulted and if you are, then go run somebody over in an angry way. Jane Slater has been holding it down in Brazil for US all week long, setting the scene in Sa Paolo. The game is coming in hot tonight, though, Jane, what's on deck as.

We get ready to wrap up our week here in Brazil? We've really had the opportunity to get to understand the culture and the flavor of the city. Sadly, the players and staff for both the Packers and Eagles won't have the same luxury, although they were able to come to Corinthians Arena for their walkthrough and get a little bit of a sample of it. See here, you'll see a local artist showing you some of the painting, some of that homage to the street art that we talked about earlier this week, and some of the music. All of that will be heavily featured during the game and the broadcast to you the fans. We'll get a sample of that as well. Coach Dick Sirianni was able to talk to the media on Thursday and I joked with them, how's your Portuguese And he said, he is an Italian who doesn't know Italian, he doesn't know Spanish, but he was genuinely excited about this being an opportunity for him to have his first international game. In fact, I really enjoyed this analogy, he said, for a lot of these Brazilian fans, they're getting the same introduction to football that he and so many players did football under those Friday night lights. One other thing he brought up that I thought was really really interesting was the challenge of unexpected noise. Now, what does he mean by that? Typically you go on the road and you're dealing with the away fans and they can be brutal.

We know that when you go to Philly or you go to Green.

Bay, but here he says a lot of these fans may not understand when you need to be quiet when the certain offenses on the field, or you need to be loud for the particular defense of the opposing team on the field. He did his best though, to politic for his Eagles, telling him to fly, Eagles fly, and be quiet when they had Jalen and company on the field.

Jane has been great work all week.

We talked to Roger Goodell early in the show and he was on a flight with all the Eagles fans to Sa Paolo saying, fly, Eagles Fly.

Excatter do we for this game?

The cool thing is it's a great matchup NFC Championship game preview, so right out of the gates, any week one game between these two teams is awesome as a million storylines they've broken up.

But to also be the first one in Brazil. It's this wild X factor.

Who's going to adjust, who's to be able to travel and how are the fans going to play role? As you heard from Jane, the fans might not be in sync as far as the American fans as far as.

When to cheer when not to cheer, which adds a whole new element to this. And I will add to that.

I've been there in Brazil against looking at the at a soccer game and they gold the entire time. So it's going to be interesting to see if they're trying to get calls and they're just going up and then they're doing this and they're hyping up. The fans said no, no, mean quite down, So that's gonna be fun.

I like, we gave Brazil a gift. And to Peter's point, this is a this is one of the best matchups. Great game. But there was a time that we would go to London to be the Jacks. It was fine, okay, and it was great and we had reasons we did that.

If you Packer's Eagles, Brazil, there's some other games we could have given you we did not.

We capt Panthers, Saints. You get Packers Eagles. Enjoy it.

You have to imagine these two teams are down there watching the game last night, like that game last night was ridiculous. The standard has been set now another primetime game on Peacock Right, we're going to talk about it next hour.

I love the Panthers and the Saints great
