Roger Jacobs on Cattle Markets, Induction into Angus Heritage Foundation, and Ranch Real Estate

Roger Jacobs is a household name to many in the cattle industry of Montana and beyond. He started his career as a cattle fitter for show cattle before joining the American Angus Association as a Regional Representative. However, it was appreciation of the auctioneering skill that intrigued Jacobs to attend auction school after graduating college and led him down a path to sell cattle for generations.

Among that longevity and knowledge of the Angus breed is what made Jacobs just the 7th auctioneer to be inducted into the American Angus Heritage Foundation this next week.

Jacobs is also a ranch real estate broker at Premier Land Company and discusses some trends he's seeing in that world.
