It has been seven years since Ajax man Soleiman Faqiri died while in a Lindsay, Ontario jail. A coroner’s inquest jury found this week that his death was a homicide. Fill-in host Tamara Cherry speaks with Andrea Monteiro, who was called as an expert Corrections witness during the inquiry, about key takeaways from the inquest and why “courageous leadership” is required moving forward.
