Zuckerberg explained that he hopes to combat the censorship that formed on his platform with sweeping change. As a member of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and the Subcommittee on Government Operations and Border Management, Johnson discusses the GOP's plans to secure the border, combat terrorism, and reduce government spending. On Tuesday, the first bill of the 119th Congress was passed. All Congressional Republicans, along with 48 Democrats, voted in favor of the Laken Riley Act, which would require federal authorities to detain illegal immigrants convicted of theft-related crimes. The Senate is expected to vote on the bill later this week.
