Fox News-Zuckerberg's censorship shift. Do you trust him?

View descriptionShare

Big changes are coming to content moderation on Facebook and Instagram. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg says they're getting rid of fact-checkers and replacing them with a community notes system similar to what X/Twitter has. He says he wants to restore free speech on his platforms and work with President Trump. Do you believe him? Do you trust him, after almost 4 years of censorship? Zuckerberg explained that he hopes to combat the censorship that formed on his platform with sweeping change. Daniel Cochrane, senior research associate at the Heritage Foundation’s Tech Policy Center, shares why this is a step in the right direction, but he explains how social media algorithms still pose censorship issues.
