By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - As both novice and professional runners get underway with preparations, the stage is set for another exciting edition of the Durban International Marathon. The popular event is expecting runners to take part from all over the globe, in two simultaneous races that cater to the different levels of athleticism. One is a 10km road race while the other is a 42.2km marathon. The longer race also acts as a Comrades Marathon qualifier. KwaZulu-Natal Athletics President Steve Mkasi has been building up hype ahead of the event. He says they one day hope to compete with the likes of the Boston, Tokyo and London marathons...
