By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Following the unpredictable climate conditions experienced in the eThekwini Municipality over the past few years, a group of civil society organisations have joined forced to create a guide for the Municipality to prepare the City and its people for future sever weather patterns. The collective called Durban Coalition, will launch of the 'People's Plan to the Right to Housing in the Age of Climate Change' at the Durban Botanic Gardens this morning. Formed in May 2022 in response to the April 2022 floods, the Durban Coalition has developed a program of action towards transforming the city into an inclusive and climate resilient place to live for all communities.
