The Inanda police station in Durban in KwaZulu-Natal recorded the greatest number of murders and rapes in the country between July and September this year. This is according to the latest quarterly crime statistics released this week by Police Minister Senzo Mchunu. However, some serious crimes have shown an overall decrease in the province. These include the number of murders, rapes and robberies. Crime hot spots like Inanda and Ntuzuma in the Durban Metro and Plessislaer at Pietermaritzburg remain among the top 10 stations countrywide.
