By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - The City of Cape Town's Fire and Rescue Service remained on high alert overnight as a number of hotspots along the Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) were still ablaze and being monitored. The blaze which started at the weekend after a lightning strike, was contained to a certain extent as some areas remained difficult to reach due to terrain issues. Some of the hotspots include the lower slopes of Constantia Nek and the Kirstenbosch Gardens in the Cape Peninsula.
