10/03/24: Joel Heitkamp is joined in the KFGO studio by Ryan Younggren to get some clarification on a case involving child sex abuse. Ryan is the Assistant Cass County States Attorney, and has over 24-years of experience as a trial lawyer, prosecutor and professor at UND. He’s currently running for judge in the East Central Judicial District.

The North Dakota Supreme Court recently ruled Cass County prosecutors inappropriately admitted evidence in a child sex abuse trial against David Gaddie. Cass County Assistant States Attorneys Ryan Younggren and Renata Olafson Selzer prosecuted after the Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office recused itself from the case.
