02/10/25: Joel Heitkamp is joined at KFGO by Fargo Police Officer Andrew Dotas and his wife, Hannah Dotas. Officer Dotas is returning to work today after the deadly shooting in 2023. 

Dotas and two other officers were ambushed by a gunman on 25th Street S. on July 14, 2023. Officer Tyler Hawes and bystander Karlee Koswick were also wounded. Officer Jake Wallin was killed in the ambush. Hawes returned to the force last week.

Andrew and Hannah speak to Joel about that day in 2023, the healing process, and their reliance on faith throughout it all.
