Even before Kevin Cramer was a congressman, attorney David Thompson, who is the Dem-NPL endorsed candidate for North Dakota Attorney General, says he took an interest in Cramer's actions and how he ran his political campaigns. Thompson has now filed an official complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) against Congressman Cramer, who is running against Heidi Heitkamp for her seat in the U.S. Senate. In the complaint, Thompson names what he believes to be multiple violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971. From allegedly using campaign funds to reimburse personal expenses and misreporting of such expenditures, Thompson says the complaint was a long time coming.
