06/18/26: Joel Heitkamp is live from the Roger Maris All Star Week Radiothon and is joined by Scott Hamilton.
Scott Hamilton was an American figure skater and Olympic gold medalist. The Ohio native had his breakthrough figure skating performance at the 1981 U.S. Championships. He would win four consecutive world championships and four consecutive U.S. championships. Then, at the Olympic Winter Games Sarajevo 1984, Hamilton dominated the competition to win the gold medal. After turning professional, Hamilton created the “Stars on Ice” tour and served as a broadcaster for NBC. He also founded the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and has written several books.
