National Corn Growers Association advocates for the importance of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement

02/13/26: Joel Heitkamp is joined by Eleanor Watson is a CBS News reporter and producer covering the Pentagon. She joins Joel to talk about the recent news around Arizona Democrat Senator Mark Kelly and his legal battle with Secretary Pete Hegseth. A federal judge granted Sen. Kelly's request for a preliminary injunction against Pete Hegseth, in a lawsuit accusing the defense secretary of trying to punish him for his political speech. Senator Kelly, a former Navy Captain, sued Hegseth in January, one week after the defense secretary moved to formally censure him for participating in a video where he and several Democratic lawmakers told U.S. servicemembers they can refuse illegal orders.

He was first elected in 2008 and served until 2012. He was elected again in 2014, 2018, and 2022. Piepkorn has been a small business owner and is currently self-employed. Others running are National Guard member Jake Coulter, Commissioner Denise Kolpack, and State Sen. Josh Boschee.
