Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award winner and former Secret Service Agent Clint Hill visits with guest host Jim Shaw about the day President Kennedy was tragically assassinated in Dallas, Texas. "I realized it was a gunshot and I jumped from the follow up car I was in to get into the Presidential vehicle to protect President Kennedy and Mrs. Kennedy," says Hill.
A native of Washburn, ND, Clint went on to graduate from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. He joined the Secret Service where he was assigned to protect the First Lady, Jackie Kennedy. Hill also served during President Johnson's term.
Most recently in October of 2018, Clint Hill received the Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award from Governor Doug Burgum.
