All eyes are on the 2020 Presidential election coming up this November, specifically on the Democratic candidates that want to take President Trump head-on in the election. With recent news that Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Tom Steyer, and now Senator Klobuchar have dropped out of the race ahead of Super Tuesday, folks now have four choices tomorrow - Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Bernie Sanders, VP Joe Biden, and Mike Bloomberg. Here in the Midwest, centrist candidates are closely being looked at by the voters, and Bloomberg is hoping to gain some of those voters, including farmers.
In this podcast episode, host Joel Heitkamp visits with the former Governor of Missouri, Jay Nixon, about why he is supporting former Mayor Bloomberg and why Bloomberg will advocate for farmers across the nation with his agriculture policies. Nixon served as the Governor of Missouri from 2009 to 2017.
