Cass County prosecutor, Ryan Younggren, is running for district judge

04/30/24: Joel Heitkamp is joined by Seth Varner for a conversation on "News and Views."

Seth is a recent college graduate who’s on a mission to document all 355 of North Dakota’s incorporated communities throughout 2024. He started this idea in 2020 with his home state of Nebraska. He has since traveled to all 531 of Nebraska’s, 939 of Iowa’s, 310 of South Dakota’s, and 627 of Kansas’s incorporated towns. 

Once he finishes traveling around North Dakota, he will compile a travel guide, “Wandermore in North Dakota,” that will serve as a travel guide, history book, and living photo album all under one cover.

04/30/24: Joel is joined on "News and Views" by Minnesota State Senator Rob Kupec. They have a conversation about Minnesota State Senator Nicole Mitchell. 

Senate DFL leaders announced Sunday that Sen. Mitchell would be relieved of her committee assignments and would not caucus with DFL lawmakers while her burglary case proceeds in the courts. It was announced last week that an ethics probe into Mitchell’s arrest has gotten started and the Senate Ethics Subcommittee is scheduled to meet May 7 to take up a complaint filed against her.
