03/15/23: North Dakota Attorney General joins Joel on "News and Views" to talk about the murder of Dru Sjodin back in 2006. 

Alfonso Rodriguez, Jr. was sentenced to death by U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson in 2006, but as of yesterday, federal prosecutors have made a decision to no longer seek the death penalty against the man convicted of kidnapping and killing Dru Sjodin.

Former Cass County Commissioner Chad Peterson announced his campaign Thursday morning.  Chad is a small business owner who served three terms on the Cass County Commission.

The commission seats of Denise Kolpack and Dave Piepkorn are up in June. Piepkorn and Kolpack are both running for the mayoral seat as mayor Tim Mahoney ends his final term in office.
