John's guest this week is Rabbi Mischa Kapustin. He is now the Chief Rabbi of Slovakia, a nation which was once a part of Czechoslovakia during the 20th Century. The Rabbi was the son of a Russian naval officer during the days of the Soviet Union, But he found his way to Crimea in the Ukraine. He recounts the story of his life from Russia through Crimea in Ukraine to the day that he, his wife and family had to flee to Slovakia during the Russian invasion of Crimea in 2014.
