May is is ALS Awareness Month, and the ALS United Mid-Atlantic Region is holding a walk on April 18th an PNC Field in Scranton to raise awareness and support. Regional Coordinator Mary Beth Tomczak, ALS patient Paul Miller, and his caregiver and wife Eileen join the show to elaborate on what ALS is, how it affects the body and what is known about the disease - also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is a neurodegenerative disease affecting nerve cells in the brain. People with ALS keep their cognitive skills, but lose the ability to walk, use their limbs, eat, speak and eventually breathe. (00 - 1:12) Miss Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Cara Mia joins Frankie to promote a bingo fundraiser for the Wilkes-Barre Area WolfPack Baseball Team taking place March 22nd. Funds raised will support the team, including transportation and more as they progress through championships. Doors open at noon, games begin at 1pm.

(1:13 - 10:30) It's time to grab the clubs and start putting! The Osterhout Library's "All Fore Books" mini-golf event is back! Put 18 holes throughout the library between 10am and 2pm Sunday, enjoy raffles and more. Proceeds from the event benefits children's programming at the library, including various community programs.
