The event will take place on June 1st at 1pm, and acts as the major fundraiser tp keeping the only 24/7 women's homeless shelter going in Luzerne County! Ruth's place is constantly at or near capacity, and helped over 200 homeless women last year - a 30% annual increase! Homeless is becoming a bigger issue everywhere due to rising costs of living and ongoing employment issues.
