Dr. Sherri Homanko and Caroline Jones join Marcy to discuss the Miss Greater Hazleton Scholarship Organization. The executive director and past participant turned volunteer talk about the mentoring program and how its helps both participants and the community. Working within pageantry, MGHSO assists young women - and youth at large - scholarship opportunities while teaching important values such as community service, public speaking, health and wellness, leadership, professional and personal development and more. Then Wilkes-Barre City events coordinator Mike Slusser gives us all the details on this year's St. Patricks Parade coming to the downtown Sunday, March 10th! Over 70 groups will make their way down South Main St to Wilkes-Barre's Public Square while helping downtown businesses thrive economically throughout the festivities! Parade kickoff starts at 2pm!
