Wilkes-Barre City events coordinator Mike Slusser gives us all the details on this year's St. Patricks Parade coming to the downtown Sunday, March 10th! Over 70 groups will make their way down South Main St to Wilkes-Barre's Public Square while helping downtown businesses thrive economically throughout the festivities! Parade kickoff starts at 2pm!

Then WBRE-TV's Nick Toma brings us Veterans Voices, where he dives into a new veteran foster program popping up in NEPA.  The VA Medical Foster Home Program would offer long-term care to local aging and disabled veterans. Casual Day is March 28th, and the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute joins Frankie tell tell us about everything that's happening to prepare this March! Casual (Colon Cancer Awareness Saves Unlimited Adult Lives) Day aims to raise awareness for screening and early detection for colon cancer, adds Event chair Dr Alessandro Smeraldi and Amanda Marchegiani.

The Wyoming Valley Children's Association is celebrating 100 years - and what better way to kick things off than with a Centennial Blue & Gold Gala?! Executive Director Nina DeiTos Zanon joins Frankie to give listeners all the details on the March 23rd event, taking place at the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre. Dr. Sherri Homanko and Caroline Jones join Marcy to discuss the Miss Greater Hazleton Scholarship Organization. The executive director and past participant turned volunteer talk about the mentoring program and how its helps both participants and the community. Working within pageantry, MGHSO assists young women - and youth at large - scholarship opportunities while teaching important values such as community service, public speaking, health and wellness, leadership, professional and personal development and more.
