What's gonna be the big story of this Yeah, I would guess Taylor Swift's engagement, maybe marriage, maybe God forbid break up. Oh gosh. I didn't want to put that out there, but it could potentially happen. So I think Taylor Swift will be a big, big story this year. I also think too, there's gonna be a reckoning with reality TV. It's sort of dying off a little bit. The ratings for the Real Housewives have pretty much halved, maybe even more than that, and so I think we're turning our back on the nastiness of the drama of the fakenesstare I say of reality TV? So that's a trend. Two I will also be looking at. And then we can never ever count out the Royals. It might be a big year for the Royals, particularly for William and Kate, who could have a life changing event coming up this year. So people are going nuts that Meghan Markel filmed her carefree Instagram video several times. So yesterday we talked about Meghan returning to Instagram at Meghan Oh, it's such a fun. It's going to be fun to follow her. She's got her TV show debuting this year, and so Meghan is going to be more active. I'm told she's going to do a ton of press around the TV show, not with Harry solo press, but I think she's coming to New York to do the talk shows, the morning shows, so a lot of Megan. We're going to see a lot of Meghan in the next couple of weeks. And it started with her Instagram video. I like it. It's a little slip for me. It looks like a Fragrance commercial. But fans who have very sharp eyes are buzzing about this latest post, suspecting it took multiple takes to get it just right. So in the quick clip of her freshly revived account, Meghan is barefoot and carefree, jogging along the beach in a crisp white, buttoned down shirt and rolled up jeans. It looks beautiful once again. It looks like a diorad or Adults and Banner add it looks like one of those Fragrance ads you see on TV, but it's not. It's an ad really for Meghan. And while the aesthetic is picture perfect, followers have noticed that the year twenty twenty five was already etched in the sand as she approached it. So Meghan ran ran down the beach. She got to where the sun and the ocean practically meets, and then she bent over and with her finger she carved in twenty twenty five adorable. Well, now it turns out that that might have already been pre arranged, because if you do look carefully, numbers were already etched out in the sand, and so this was produced. Anybody that thought this was totally natural just don't understand TV. It is so produced. It's over produced. It looks like a love letter, like a movie, like a Ron Calm, rather than an Instagram video. Although now a lot of people on TikTok social media on Instagram do really produce their videos. I try to do one TikTok a day. I'm not that into it. I enjoy the gossip, but filming myself it's not quite my thing. It's not that I'm not comfortable on camera, it's just they haven't really fell in love with doing this shit. I will if you're gonna take me a moment. So I do one video a day, but they're really, really raw. It's me. I've been up for twenty minutes. I do the podcast and then I rush into the living room. I sit down by the couch. I have my fabulous little Union Jack and United States flagged behind me, my pillows and I do a little video, but it's literally me, no hem, no makeup. Sometimes I'm meme and just wearing a T shirt my pajamas once and so I do these pretty raw Megan's is the opposite of that. It is so produced, but it is produced to look natural, like she's not in a ballg and she's not in a tiara, she's not wearing the crown jewels. She's looking very very natural. Well, now insiders are saying it's the opposite. She had hair, she had makeup. This is a rejuiced shoot, and I think we could tell that by looking at the end results. I'm not sure it really matters here, except our friend Mark did point out, did point out that there's a disconnect between the Meghan, the image of who she wants to be, and who she really is. When it turns out the video was filmed by Prince Harry, it's beautiful, go and have a look at it. And already it's racked up four million views. Four million, So people are still interested in Meghan. So if you say it not, you don't care about this couple anymore. I'm not sure that's totally true. I think people are still interested in Meghan in Harry. Is it the greatest love story ever told? Or is it the greatest tragedy? He's lost his family? What is gonna happen with them? I know the Kardashians, do I know everybody else that I follow on Instagram who are famous? Not my real friends, but a famous This is part of being a star, creating craft in an image. And so why are we sewed down on Megan for doing this? But we're not down on Victoria Beckham or Jennifer Lopez or Madonna? Why is it Meghan here? It does feel like a double standard. Although I think here what's going to bite her in the bottom is that her brand moving forward is how authentic she is? This is the real me. I'm just Megan, the Megan you want to know. It's just me. I'm gonna show you who that person is. I wanna be just so casual, so normal. I'm just like you, and so that, I think is what is going to bite her in the bottom. Let's remember her new Nettflix series. We now know the name of it. It's called With Love. Comma Meghan, not the Duchess, not Megan Markle, not Harry's wife, No, just Megan. So if she wants us to think of her as authentic, then I think these sort of over produced videos might be a mistake. But what do you think? Is there anything wrong with this? Okay, moving along, Tom Holland, who I Love Spider Man himself, is revealing why he typically refuses to walk red carpets with his girlfriend Zendaia. So Tom is stepping back to let Zandaya shine. The Spider Man star explains in a new interview with Men's Health, He's on the cover looking fantastic. Why he advots joining his girlfriend on red carpets at her movie premierees. He said, quote, because it's not my moment, it's her moment, and if we go together, it becomes about us. Very very smart. He's only twenty eight years old and he's really figured this out. He also said that he is noticeably absent when ever Zandaya does her press. This is about her. So when she does press, when she's promoting a film, it's about her. However, as a couple, we're happy to go out together on croze cozy date nights. We've spotted them together at the NBA playoffs, out and about, and then he added to and I think this is so interesting that he really isn't a massive fan of being a celebrity. That fame makes him very uneasy. He said, I love making movies. I absolutely love the movie business. But what I don't really like is Hollywood. It's not for me. Quote. The business really scares me. I understand that I'm part of that business and I enjoy it, but my interactions within it are sometimes uncomfortable for him. He says that he's always looking for ways to kind of remove himself from the industry yet still make great films, and I think he's doing a really good job of that. There's very different types of celebrities. There's celebrities that love being famous and those that don't, and the ones that love being famous who were also talented. They have amazing, amazing careers. But can you imagine if you grew up you didn't want to be famous, you wanted to be an actor or an actress. You're growing up, that was your goal. That's what Tom. He comes from the theater. He was Billy Elliot in the stage production of Elton John's version of Billy Elliot on the West End. He wanted to be an actor and then he suddenly became not only an actor but a movie star, and that was really difficult for Tom. He struggles with it. Z and Aya is great at this. She knows how to juddle both. She can be a movie star and she can also be an actress. But he is a line and a lot of celebrities have to figure out. I would argue j Low is more of a celebrity now than she is an actress or a singer, and I'm not sure that's a good thing. Same with Ben Affleck. Ban Affleck is an Academy Award winner, but he's turned himself into a tabloid celebrity where other people they don't want to be part of that. They try so hard not to be part of the celebrity machine. Think of Julia Roberts. She's someone who's arguably one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but she doesn't play the tabloid game. And so I think tom can use Julia as an example here as somebody who is known for their craft, not their private life. Angelina Jolie, she's now a star, She's one of the biggest stars in the world. She's a great actress too. But I think Angelina might have jumped the shark too. It's difficult, isn't it. When I work with Jessica Simpson, she wanted to be known as a singer, and she wasn't. She was known as a tabloid queen. She was known as somebody whose personal life we were interested in. And when she did the reality show, Let's be clear, when she made her reality show with Nicks, it all became about her personal life. Her business was her personal life. Tommy is not doing that. He's not doing reality shows. He doesn't talk about his personal life in interviews. And I think that is really really smart, and I do like to when Zandea is promoting her movies, it's her moment. Don't push yourself in, don't do it. When Bruce had his big opening night on Broadway, I didn't walk the carpet with Bruce. It was his night. He walked it with his collaborator Barry, and not me. And that's the way it should be. It shouldn't have been me and Bruce on the red carpet. That was a work night. We're not hiding from each other. We're not ashamed of each other. We love each other. In fact, we love each other enough to know when it's your time to step out of the spotlight and let the real star shine. Okay, moving along. Oh, we've got another bad story about Ellen. So Ellen made the Bachelorette Allie Federovski. I think I'm saying that correctly. Remember Allie, Well, Allie's saying she felt stupid on Ellen's talk show, like she was laughing at me, not with me. Ouch. So Allie, who's a former bachelorette, is reflecting her experience on the Ellen dish Jenner show. She made it in twenty twenty ten, and she said, quote, she made me feel pretty not great. It's not that she was mean, per se, but she made me feel stupid. So at the time, Allie was only twenty four, the Bachelorette was huge. It's still huge, but millions and millions of people were watching it. And Ellen didn't really appear like she wanted her on the show. She had her on because of ratings, because of the popularity of the Bachelorette, but she'd rather talk to movie stars, I think. And Allie really felt that, and she said that I get it. She's used to talking to people who are crafted and here suddenly this twenty four year old famous for no reason comes on a share and she's like, why am I talking to one of these idiots? Allie said she was trying to be funny. There's nothing worse, is there when you meet somebody doesn't have to be Ellen, but you meet somebody and you really want them to like you. You want to do a good job, but you're trying to be funny. And she felt as if Ellen was having none of it and was laughing at her. And she ended by saying, quite this makes me sad. I just felt really stupid. I hate that. I've had people who have tried to make me feel stupid in the past, and they've succeeded, sometimes not always. It's just so cruel, isn't it. I hope I've never made anybody feel stupid. There's no bad question, there's no bad answer. I think making somebody feel less, making somebody feel stupid is one of the meanest, cruelest things ever. Ellen Ellen Ellen, Okay, quickly, before we go to break. Prince Harry his son Archie went surfing with him, and we know this because it was posted on social media and since deleted. So Harry is making waves as a dad. Literally see what I did there. The Duke of Sussex was spotted taking his five year old son, Prince Archerye, surfing in California. The outing was captured in a since deleted post that's important and by professional surfer by a professional surfer, Ramimin van Bolster, which was later reposted on a Harry fan account. That's how we all know about it. So Harry looks great and a slick or black wetsuit, and little Archie stood buying a bright blue one, dressed perfectly for the father son adventure. However, the couple Harry and Meghan, have really tried to keep their kids out of the public eye. Archie and his little three year old sister Lily, but out of the public eye. They should have Christmas card, but the kid's backs towards us, so we don't get to see their faces. So I don't know here if this was Harry's ski instructor, his surf instructor, or if this somebody was out just enjoying the waves and saw them and took a picture. If I saw Harry and Archie on the Hudson River, I'd take a picture, but I would be respectful about the parents' right here to not publicize their children. I always, always awful, always tread carefully when it comes to celebrit and their kids. The kids didn't decide to be famous, they didn't want this life. You could argue Harry didn't do there because he was born in to being a prince. But let's respect people here. Let's respect particularly celebrities and their children. I want this to succeed. I will watch. I've got my fingers crossed. It could be awful. Who knows what they've done in the past. At least their TV projects have not been that good. Justin Beldoni is claiming that Blake Lively tried to get him banned from the premiere of their movie it ends with us. So now, in new legal documents, Justin is saying that Blake tried to block him from even attending the film's premiere. The lawsuit claims that Blake quote systematically sidelined Justin from the marketing of his own film. He was not only the star of it, he was the producer and the director, and they said initially she refused to give him permission to attend the films premiere. Well, now we're finding out through this lawsuit that the movie company really had to put pressure on Blake, and so in the end, Justin was allowed to go, but he was kept in a separate section. He claims his family, himself, his producing friends, they were segregated from the cast and they were barred from the after party, forcing Justin to throw his own events. This is not over, my friends. My insiders tell me. In the next couple of weeks, Justin and his team are going to release all the texts from Blake, and they are not all pretty Okay, let's end with a moment of rob. And so I think tom can use Julia as an example here as somebody who is known for their craft, not their private life. Angelina Jolie, she's now a star, She's one of the biggest stars in the world. She's a great actress too. But I think Angelina might have jumped the shark too. It's difficult, isn't it. When I work with Jessica Simpson, she wanted to be known as a singer, and she wasn't. She was known as a tabloid queen. She was known as somebody whose personal life we were interested in. And when she did the reality show, Let's be clear, when she made her reality show with Nicks, it all became about her personal life. Her business was her personal life. Tommy is not doing that. He's not doing reality shows. He doesn't talk about his personal life in interviews. And I think that is really really smart, and I do like to when Zandea is promoting her movies, it's her moment. Don't push yourself in, don't do it. When Bruce had his big opening night on Broadway, I didn't walk the carpet with Bruce. It was his night. He walked it with his collaborator Barry, and not me. And that's the way it should be. It shouldn't have been me and Bruce on the red carpet. That was a work night. We're not hiding from each other. We're not ashamed of each other. We love each other. In fact, we love each other enough to know when it's your time to step out of the spotlight and let the real star shine. Okay, moving along. Oh, we've got another bad story about Ellen. So Ellen made the Bachelorette Allie Federovski. I think I'm saying that correctly. Remember Allie, Well, Allie's saying she felt stupid on Ellen's talk show, like she was laughing at me, not with me. Ouch. So Allie, who's a former bachelorette, is reflecting her experience on the Ellen dish Jenner show. She made it in twenty twenty ten, and she said, quote, she made me feel pretty not great. It's not that she was mean, per se, but she made me feel stupid. So at the time, Allie was only twenty four, the Bachelorette was huge. It's still huge, but millions and millions of people were watching it. And Ellen didn't really appear like she wanted her on the show. She had her on because of ratings, because of the popularity of the Bachelorette, but she'd rather talk to movie stars, I think. And Allie really felt that, and she said that I get it. She's used to talking to people who are crafted and here suddenly this twenty four year old famous for no reason comes on a share and she's like, why am I talking to one of these idiots? Allie said she was trying to be funny. There's nothing worse, is there when you meet somebody doesn't have to be Ellen, but you meet somebody and you really want them to like you. You want to do a good job, but you're trying to be funny. And she felt as if Ellen was having none of it and was laughing at her. And she ended by saying, quite this makes me sad. I just felt really stupid. I hate that. I've had people who have tried to make me feel stupid in the past, and they've succeeded, sometimes not always. It's just so cruel, isn't it. I hope I've never made anybody feel stupid. There's no bad question, there's no bad answer. I think making somebody feel less, making somebody feel stupid is one of the meanest, cruelest things ever. Ellen Ellen Ellen, Okay, quickly, before we go to break. Prince Harry his son Archie went surfing with him, and we know this because it was posted on social media and since deleted. So Harry is making waves as a dad. Literally see what I did there. The Duke of Sussex was spotted taking his five year old son, Prince Archerye, surfing in California. The outing was captured in a since deleted post that's important and by professional surfer by a professional surfer, Ramimin van Bolster, which was later reposted on a Harry fan account. That's how we all know about it. So Harry looks great and a slick or black wetsuit, and little Archie stood buying a bright blue one, dressed perfectly for the father son adventure. However, the couple Harry and Meghan, have really tried to keep their kids out of the public eye. Archie and his little three year old sister Lily, but out of the public eye. They should have Christmas card, but the kid's backs towards us, so we don't get to see their faces. So I don't know here if this was Harry's ski instructor, his surf instructor, or if this somebody was out just enjoying the waves and saw them and took a picture. If I saw Harry and Archie on the Hudson River, I'd take a picture, but I would be respectful about the parents' right here to not publicize their children. I always, always awful, always tread carefully when it comes to celebrit and their kids. The kids didn't decide to be famous, they didn't want this life. You could argue Harry didn't do there because he was born in to being a prince. But let's respect people here. Let's respect particularly celebrities and their children. I love that these two are still friends, and comedian Mindy Kaling their friends too. They're arranging flowers. They're in a little floral shop of flower shop. They're scraping for honey from a beehive. It looks like it's in the garden and they're hosting little intimate gatherings with friends. And Harry does pop up in there. He looks great too. I want this to succeed. I will watch. I've got my fingers crossed. It could be awful. Who knows what they've done in the past. At least their TV projects have not been that good. But I think this one has a real shot. The trailer made me really really root for it. Best of look Megan and ur An Nice's of the Day and now I Naughty is the Day? Naughty Naughty Noughty. Justin Beldoni is claiming that Blake Lively tried to get him banned from the premiere of their movie it ends with us. So now, in new legal documents, Justin is saying that Blake tried to block him from even attending the film's premiere. The lawsuit claims that Blake quote systematically sidelined Justin from the marketing of his own film. He was not only the star of it, he was the producer and the director, and they said initially she refused to give him permission to attend the films premiere. Well, now we're finding out through this lawsuit that the movie company really had to put pressure on Blake, and so in the end, Justin was allowed to go, but he was kept in a separate section. He claims his family, himself, his producing friends, they were segregated from the cast and they were barred from the after party, forcing Justin to throw his own events. This is not over, my friends. My insiders tell me. In the next couple of weeks, Justin and his team are going to release all the texts from Blake, and they are not all pretty Okay, let's end with a moment of rob. It's a perfect quote to think about at the start of a new year. We should all start to live our lives before we get too old. Fear is stupid, so a regrets. I've wasted so many hours, maybe weeks, maybe months, full of fear. If you add up all the moment that I was frightened in my life, my goodness, I can't imagine how many weeks, days, or months I have wasted the same with regrets. Fear is stupid, and so are regrets.
