My Favorite Murder presents the premiere episode of our newest limited series podcast, Two-Faced: John of God, hosted by Martina Castro and produced by Exactly Right Media and Adonde Media.

For decades, people from around the world traveled to Brazil to see a spiritual healer known as John of God — believing he could perform miraculous medical procedures without anesthesia. In Episode One, “The Last Hope,” we meet the people drawn to his promise. While true believers claim to be spiritually cured, others describe a secret living nightmare.

The series is available in both English and Spanish. The Spanish-language feed is titled Dos Caras: Juan de Dios. Episode Three is out now in both feeds.
