Our guest today is Jessica Mauboy. An absolute legend of Australian music, Jess is a singer, a writer, a performer - multi ARIA award winner, and recently inducted into the National Indigenous Music Awards Hall of Fame - incredible. She’s been in the spotlight for nearly 20 years, and after a long time at major labels, she has recently taken the next big boss lady move by stepping out as an independent artist on the new label Jamally, with her new single “While I Got Time”.  Oh, and somewhere in there she finds time to be an incredible Mum, Sister and Daughter. We are so excited to have you with us on Music Mothers and Others - welcome Jessica (and thanks to Blue Music Services for connecting us).

Ronny is an artist, a music industry consultant, the former general manager of Studios 301 in Sydney (the largest recording studio in the southern hemisphere, thank you), and now the co-founder of new venture Mentor Academy. In his spare time he’s also a Dad and touring musician, regularly working with Australian icon Marcia Hines. A true all rounder and a joy to talk to - welcome Ronny!

A graduate of Australian National University's School of Music, Elana is a double ARIA Award-winning musician whose style combines instrumental invention with pop styling and quirk! She's an ongoing member of Missy Higgins' live band, and has toured the world as a singer/pianist/accordion player/percussionist with the John Butler trio as well as opening for John Butler across Europe in 2022, and a member of the ARIA award-winning folk quartet All Our Exes Live in Texas, as well as supporting Donny Benét  and Megan Washington in a city near you. A mother of two young children, we love that in 2024 she wrote an article for TheMusic.com called 'Being A Parent Is The Most Rock N' Roll Thing I Have Ever Done'. Elana is also a podcaster, and has released her fourth solo album 'Married to the Sound' is out now.
