Weapons Review

Predator Badlands Trailer

What is the greatest year in movie history? That’s the question this week! Mike breaks down what he believes to be the Top 5 years of all-time and his favorite 5 films from each of those years. In the Movie Review, Mike gives his spoiler-free thoughts on Weapons starring Josh Brolin and Julia Garner.  When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanishes on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance. Mike talks about why director Zach Cregger is a new king of modern horror, if he thinks the movie is over hyped and the secret to Warner Brothers making box office history.  In the Trailer Park, Mike dives into Predator: Badlands which stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. It is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary. Mike shares how the trailer won him over, the language developed for the movie and why Predator and Alien fans are the best people.

Verity Review

The Rescue Trailer Park

Mike and Kelsey return for the Best and Worst movies they watched in September. From Resident Evil to Primetime and more! They also get into questions about: What are the rules on taking someone’s assigned seat in a theater? And what do you do if someone is seated in the assigned seat you paid for? In the Movie Review, Mike gives his thoughts on Verity starring Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson. Lowen Ashleigh, hired to ghostwrite for Verity Crawford, uncovers what appears to be Verity's autobiographical notes. She wrestles with the confessions about Verity's husband and finds separating fiction from reality challenging. Mike shares his take on the story without having read the book. He also talks about why people are so upset online about the quality of Verity and Digger. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about The Rescue starring Brandon Sklenar. It’s about a former rodeo cowboy who takes matters into his own hands when his daughter is kidnapped for ransom. Mike shares why he thinks Brandon could be the next Batman.
