After much speculation, it’s officially official that we are getting a Goonies 2. Mike shares his thoughts on the age old tale of everything being a reboot or sequel. In doing so, he ranks the Top 10 direct sequels coming out this year in which he thinks will be the worst to best. In the Movie Review, Mike talks about The Monkey directed by Oz Perkins. It’s about twin brothers who find a mysterious wind-up monkey then a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree, forcing the estranged siblings to confront the cursed toy. Mike talks about how it compares to his last film Longlegs, the level of gore and how it used its $10 million dollar budget.  In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about the new A24 comedy  "Friendship." The film stars Paul Rudd and Tim Robinson as neighbors who become friends, but when that friendship threatens to splinter, things go awry quickly.  Mike talks about why he thinks Tim Robinson is the best comedian right now.
