Did Elizabeth Holmes Scam Us All? & Ben Affleck Busted Using A.I. + Movie Review: Wildwood + Trailer Park: River

Movie Mike and Kelsey are back to talk about the best and worst movie they saw in the month of November. They go in deep talking about You Can See Everything and how they feel about true crime, Elizabeth Holmes, Theranos and if she was playing us all. They also talk about Ben Affleck using A.I. in his new Netflix movie, a 90s/00s show being rebooted and why Kelsey didn’t like Verity. In the Movie Review, Mike talks about Wildwood, the handmade stop-motion animated adventure that took years to bring to life. The animation and set design are incredible, but the movie raises a bigger question: Why aren't more studios willing to take creative risks like this? Mike explains why Disney might never make a movie like Wildwood, whether billionaire backing is the key to making ambitious art, and why the nearly perfect movie could have used a shorter runtime. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about River. It’s about 3 siblings who, after being stranded in a boat on a country river, are stalked by a faceless killer. He discusses why he loves horror movies with a premise that can actually happen in the real world, dump months and horror movie trailers that set out to trick us.
