About Irving Fryar:
Irving Fryar is a retired NFL wide receiver who played college football at the University of Nebraska. Irv was drafted as the #1 NFL Draft Pick in the 1984 Draft by the New England Patriots. During Irv’s 17 seasons in the League, he was a 5x Pro Bowler, and had multiple 1000-yard receiving seasons. In addition to playing for New England, Irv also played for the Miami Dolphins, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington Redskins. Irv is currently a pastor and is the host of a podcast called The Fryar Place.
