Following the High Court’s observation that BMC holds responsibility for Mumbai’s waterlogging issues, but citizens also share equal accountability, Malishka took the conversation directly to Mumbaikars. Her team stepped out on the streets to understand what citizens feel about the recurring monsoon challenges and their role in keeping the city clean and prepared.

Through these public interactions, Morning No.1 brought out different perspectives  from concerns about civic infrastructure and drainage systems to the need for citizens to be more responsible about waste disposal and following basic civic practices. The segment highlighted that solving Mumbai’s waterlogging problem requires a joint effort between authorities and citizens.
