Saturday Mornings host Glenn van Zutphen and co-host, award-winning author Neil Humphreys are joined in a fascinating discussion about what we do and do not know about Singapore’s biodiversity. Sankar Ananthanarayanan, Co-editor, The Singapore Terrestrial Conservation Plan and Movin Nyanasengeran, Vice-president of the Bird Society of Singapore talk about the recently completed first edition of the “Singapore Terrestrial Conservation Plan.” It’s a comprehensive document that maps the state of biodiversity here and consolidates the aspirations of nearly 40 conservationists, local scientists, and the nature community. Supported by Singapore Minister for National Development Desmond Lee and other 4G leaders, it is now being circulated to stakeholders in the government to consider how we can protect our flora and fauna.
