In the Singapore Home Brew segment, host Neil Humphreys sits down with film-maker Saleem Hadi, who is also the founder and director of Singapore Indian Theatre & Film Explorers (SITFE). To celebrate SG60, SITFE is organising indBOX FILM FESTIVAL, the world's first Singapore-Indian film festival from Aug 15th-17th. The festival is being launched by Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and will showcase the country's best films. Saleem has contributed his savings to get the festival up and running and explains why he needs extra support to get his dream project across the finish line.

The British High Commissioner explains the geopolitical, strategic and cultural value of the warship docking at Marina Bay - the first time that has happened in Singapore. He also looks back at a whirlwind first year in the job, stating that the last 12 months have been the most rewarding of his diplomatic career. And yes, he does answers that question: After a year, has the British High Commissioner to Singapore finally encountered an otter?

From humble beginnings, the keen environmentalist posted some fun, fact-filled wildlife videos, which quickly went viral. Taking a career gamble, MJ quit her teaching job to set up 'Just Keep Thinking', an educational media company, that’s becoming a hit with both educational institutions and corporations. MJ now has hundreds of thousands of followers and her eco-friendly videos get millions of views. She explains how everyone can do their bit to improve Singapore's biodiversity.
