In this Saturday Morning Sit-Down Conversation “Saturday Mornings Show” host Glenn van Zutphen and co-host Neil Humphreys talk with Cynthia Tay, Chairperson of Wicare, and Nancy Thio, Honorary Secretary, about turning personal tragedy into purpose. After losing her husband to cancer in 2017, Cynthia found strength in Wicare—a support group for widows and fatherless children—and now leads its mission to bring hope to those navigating loss.
Founded in 1993 Wicare has grown to a community supporting over 1,100 widows and 1,700 children. Through grief counselling, group therapy, and befriending services, Wicare offers a safe space to heal and rebuild.
