View descriptionShare

Tensions in the Middle East continue to rise at an alarming rate.

In the last few weeks alone, several developments have emerged. Another ceasefire attempt between Israel and Hamas has failed; university campuses around the world have become grounds for protests related to the war; and the U.S. government has issued strong criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's approach in the southern Palestinian city of Rafah.

On this episode of Morning Shot, Dr Lincoln Mitchell, Professor, School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, shares his insights.
