The US homeland security has announced a panel to conduct an independent review into security failures after a gunman wounded former President Donald Trump at his weekend rally in Pennsylvania.
Since the incident, the FBI has conducted more than 100 interviews, searched the suspect's home and vehicle, cracked into his cellphone, and retrieved a drone.
Multiple investigations are underway as the FBI leads the investigation into the assassination attempt.
On this episode of Morning Shot, Kenneth Gray, Retired FBI Special Agent with 24 years of service and Senior Lecturer at the Criminal Justice Department at University of New Haven shares the ins and outs of some of the security blind spots that investigators will be looking into, as well as evidence that might point to the motives behind.
